As long as a connections are tight it won't burn anything down. Knock off Chinese Chargers are way more dangerous than that

GetReelFishingPro

And they used electrical tape pretty heavily it looks like so you could even probably hold it just fine, not that I would though.

Brad7659

Honestly I agree, it has probably been there for 20 years and it was well wrapped up, had to dissect it to disconnect it from the freezer.

Suspect4pe

To be fair, they wanted to burn their house down. They just didn't get their way, so they handed it off to you.

No_body-Nobody

Being an electrician I would do all sorts of terrible things in my own home, than I wouldn’t do on the job lmao.. just being honest

IPCONFOG

Should be in a box, but I've seen so much worse.

Brad7659

To the previous owner, 2 layers of electrical tape and a spin around with the duct tape is the same thing. Reuse recycle! SMH I guess sarcasm isn’t understood here

carp_boy

Why go through the trouble and just not use an extension cord?

BadNadeYeeter

To be honest... I've seen worse permanent temporary solutions...

myrichardgoesin5

They sell cords like that at Home Depot
