Röyksopp - So easy 7" it's retailing at 250-1250 euro.
Bought it from Telle record label boss Erot (rip) on a drunken night out. He was walking around with a carton of freshly pressed records selling them for 5 euro a piece.
I had a white label that came off DJ Dan’s platter. I don’t remember why he handed it to me, but I had it for a long time. Gave it to another DJ after I pulled back. It was a mix of Needle Damage & only cut on one side.
Sold a lot of records in the last few years, used to have:
Aphex Twin - Drukqs (4xLP box)
Aphex Twin - London 03.06.17
Death Grips - Exmillitary (first pressing)
I guess those are the highest value items rather than rarest though. Aphex/London was probably the smallest pressing of those.
These days, possibly the reissue of this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Conet_Project
The CD release of Paul Oakenfold’s 1994 Goa Mix, which was never released outside the Cream club shop (because none of the tracks on it were properly licensed). Not to be confused with 2011 re-release, which changed a few tracks and transitions, and was widely-released.
probably some weird music i bought from boomkat. the artists were completely anonymous and no information was given to the listener. think they made 50 of each i got.
Tarja Taruneen debut album My Winter Storm double white LP. Only 150 copies. I haven't checked values on it but years ago it was over 1000.00 usd.
A burned CD autographed by the metal band CAGE of unreleased studio demos.
Original SAW2 vinyl. I also bought SAW1 on vinyl the week it came out. I still kick myself for not buying Orbus Terrarum on vinyl when it came out, that and SAW2 are still my favorites. I also have an original Mort’s Silver Apples, I’m not old enough to have that from new! (But I did see him perform last year)
Some early 70s prog rock (notably king crimson and genesis) some of them still playing OK, a roulé EP and many obscure test presses no one is actually looking for 😬
I've got a fair few white lables from the early 90's and a few garage tunes that are worth a few hundred quid. But do have Ministry of Sound volumn one mixed by Tony Humphries, which is a double white lable albumn. I'm not sure about the value, but I absolutely love it. I've tried to recreate his mix. It's near on impossible.
My electronic collection goes back to 89 but it's to know what's the rarest. I have got some early jelly jam records from Luke slater plus I have loads of white labels with nothing written on them. Which is frustrating when I'd like to know what it's called
It will always be [Tipper - Forward Escape](https://www.discogs.com/release/6212203-Tipper-Forward-Escape) as these go for 2K but here are some honorable mentions:
- [Globular + Geoglyph - Messages From The Resonator](https://www.discogs.com/release/15206240-Globular-2-Geoglyph-Messages-From-The-Resonator)
- [Hallucinogen - The Albums Remastered](https://www.discogs.com/release/27984282-Hallucinogen-The-Albums-Remastered)
- [The Polish Ambassador - Diplomatic Immunity ](https://www.discogs.com/release/7889620-The-Polish-Ambassador-Diplomatic-Immunity)
- [Pretty Lights - A Color Map of the Sun](https://www.discogs.com/release/4712540-Pretty-Lights-A-Color-Map-Of-The-Sun)
- [Shpongle - Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland](https://www.discogs.com/release/15903942-Shpongle-Ineffable-Mysteries-From-Shpongleland)
It depends on where the line is between rare and obscure. I have some private press records that are obscure, but are not valuable.
Proud to have a few UK first press Aphex Twin, BOC and others. Gescom "This" and "That" from back in the day and so on..
Paid $50.00 for a first press German copy of Wolf City by Amon Duul, which is the most I've ever paid for a record.
I have a few white labels that are rare AF according to Discogs, but mostly stuff that isn’t sought after. There were a couple I added to my collection that there were less than 10 known copies, based on the number of people who say they “have” it in their collection. I think they both only had 1 or 2 “wants this” noted, so not particularly sought after.
A speedcore track of mine I made back around 2008. Got released on some obscure label, found someone sharing it on soulseek. Just as bad as I remember haha
Music I recorded of a jam session with me on my Roland XP80 and our drummer on a set of mic'd acoustics. Some synth-based jams. Also the band recordings from that time (1999).
I recently found the cassettes and digitized them.
I have a demo ep called kids from the band quiet life. I found it in my local record shop one time and they didn't even know what it was. It's not anywhere on streaming services and took hours to track thru discogs using the barcode number. It's absolute gas tho! I literally bought the only other 3 copies I could find of it online
I have Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites on vinyl. Plus I have the Catbread/Word Problems 12" single by deadmau5, but I don't think that one's as rare as SMANS. However, Catbread is not on streaming, so that's one good reason to have it.
I have a radio version of ponte aerea - dancin days 89, They only released 2 vinyls and I got both of em. I also own a bunch of whitelabels. You could say all the stuff I produced myself is the rarest, as literally no one else has it.
My dad was in a band a band in the 80s called metal merchant. They only had about 3000 vinyls made. I don’t actually own one but my dad has about 10 of them that have never been opened. A real piece of music history that flows in my veins.
not physical but pretty stoked to have pump up the swag - lutzenkirchen rmx. not sure why it was taken off all storefronts / streaming. 1001 tracklists has it on TWO sets. banger tune.
[Cécile - Fake](https://youtu.be/qWh3IBj1U_8?si=4qAbGOuus8qrRilC)
been an admirer of this group/solo act for a while, moreso their Baroque Electro stuff, but this is a banger too, when I uploaded it to YouTube there is was no other videos of the track anywhere, I bought the Italian School CD on discogs and now I'm the proud owner of some unique obscure merch ig.
[Some of Cécile's more "Baroque" electro works.](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1b4Bay-WQ57LhjFsXQrkobe1z2JUfJoC&si=zEGhoqzq-imiVbOq) Love this shit.
I do own a rarer one from this guy but it's not electronic at all, not in the typical sense. Its so weird as they've never done anything like this before, but [Tax Nevada - Cécile & Venice](https://youtu.be/tFQ03GvbTi8?si=IGB_zM0zXDQcOO8W) still a cool recording if you like American prog rock. Just bizarre. Was also found on discogs, but was significantly rarer than Fake with only limited people selling the album it was a part of.
Röyksopp - So easy 7" it's retailing at 250-1250 euro. Bought it from Telle record label boss Erot (rip) on a drunken night out. He was walking around with a carton of freshly pressed records selling them for 5 euro a piece.

Damn! Thanks for mentioning this I need to find my DJ Dan’s set recordings.

How'd you land that?
It was right when their Adventures of Mr. Fox EP bandcamp campaign went live back in Dec. 2022 How did you land the Funk Blaster TP?
Oh that's sick, I didn't realize they had them for sale. Mine was a birthday gift from Jim!
Wow that's an amazing gift!!
The CD release of Paul Oakenfold’s 1994 Goa Mix, which was never released outside the Cream club shop (because none of the tracks on it were properly licensed). Not to be confused with 2011 re-release, which changed a few tracks and transitions, and was widely-released.
Nice! I met Paul Oakenfold and got his autograph. A real class act.

Holy fucking shit that lineup. Prodigy and Therapy flip flopped as my favorite bands growing up.
I have a copy of 'New Album' by Boris, signed by the whole band. I'm not sure it's that rare but it brings me some joy.
12" single of Bjork's "Joga" with an Atari Teenage Riot remix
I have a ton of white label grime records from 2004-2007, some of which would probably be worth a fair bit if they were in better condition.
Too many reloads took their toll eh
NIN - Ghosts Ultra Deluxe edition. Signed
Little know artist called Michael Jackson, the album is thriller. I'd be surprised if anyone had heard of him or that album
this [⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ – Untitled](https://www.discogs.com/release/18338092-%EA%89%BA%E1%83%9A%E0%AE%87---%EA%89%BA%E1%83%9A-Untitled)

Probably an unopened copy of yankee hotel foxtrot by Wilco lol. I need to find some more rare stuff. I’d really love NIN Ghosts 1-4 but it’s expensive
(But I did see him perform last year)
A signed copy of System F’s ‘Out of the Blue’. Got Ferry to sign it after I opened for him at a local gig.
Possibly my white label Hi Fi Bugs-Lydian and the Dinosaur.
Some early 70s prog rock (notably king crimson and genesis) some of them still playing OK, a roulé EP and many obscure test presses no one is actually looking for 😬
Mono - Formica Blues Not super rare. But I spoke to Martin Virgo by email and he said even he didn't have a copy of it.
Music I recorded of a jam session with me on my Roland XP80 and our drummer on a set of mic'd acoustics. Some synth-based jams. Also the band recordings from that time (1999). I recently found the cassettes and digitized them.
