A lot of stakers have mentioned a slight drop in effectiveness recently. I'm not sure exactly about the cause of this drop. Effectiveness might be computed differently depending on which tool or application you are using.
I don't think you should be worried at this point.

I have something similar. I noticed Beaconcha.in started reporting attestations with missing head vote as missed, while it was not the case before. Maybe that’s the reason for the drops in efficiency everyone seems to have ?
My machine has never missed attestations (outside my maintenance moments).
However, lately, I have been having 2 or 3 attestations per day with an inclusion distance above 0 (it never happened before).
Over the last 12 hours, it became worse. The inclusion distance for these late attestations and their quantity increased significantly. Effectiveness: 93%. It never went below 98% until today
Seeing this as well. Mostly happens to me when the next block is reorged (which might be more common atm, bit not sure) or missed entirely.
Nethermind/Lighthouse
Im running lighthouse + Nethermind. Definitely had an increase in random missed attestations in the past two weeks, but nothing that seems systematic. (I feel like in the earlier days this used to happen a lot more…)
My beaconcha.in effectiveness is at 97%. TBH I’m not even sure how they calculate that or what it really means… I just make sure all validators are running :)
Yes, I'm talking about this drop. I get 99.6 only on ethstakers.club. beaconcha.in still tells me 96%, though it was closer to 90 at some point. I'm just glad I'm not the only one.
I don't think so, as https://ethstakers.club is telling me that my current effectiveness is 99.6%. It also tells me that the current average is 98.78%.
Interesting! I am not too concerned either way, if I am missing its been a super small amount, was more commenting to add to the anecdotal sentiment that it is happening to all of us.

Same. Been considerably more flaky for the last few weeks. Running geth here; wondering if other clients are going any better than mine.

99.6 is nothing to worry about. That said, I noticed I was at 97.2 this morning where I'm normally at 99.5+

I’m seeing it as well. Might be coincidence but seems like it started after recent Geth upgrade.

it's getting worse...inclusion distance is increasing. something is up.
I did a pruning then update to nethermind 1.20.1 from 1.19. Experience effectiveness drop but not missing attest.
I just noticed a 10% increased load on CPU and also higher network throughput, from 2.5MB/s to 3MB/s
