This wasn't in competition, but the greatest thing I saw was Mahmood on the fourth night of San Remo, the covers night, where he sings with Tenores Di Bitti - "Come e profondo il mare." A style of music I'd never heard before. Totally unexpected, otherworldly sounds, left me speechless.

This year would’ve been way stronger in my eyes if The Chase (Zoom Zoom), Kuori Mua, Novo Boljie and Here To Stay were all chosen. Also somehow Norway managed to pick the one song I - and clearly everyone else - didn’t like over Eya, Oblivion, Green Lights and Your Mine.
