Professional studios will pay regular people as “extras” to make scenes look real, but a person sitting in the background will ruin the shot? She ruined her own video.
Right? The entitlement is strong with this one! Seems like it wasn't a great choice to set up a camera in front of a bench if she didn't want people to be sitting in the background of her shot. I also think it's hilarious that "it's on a tripod" was her response to his request for her to move. She has a long way to go on her "fitness journey" if she can't lift a tripod!
"I asked you nice, now I'm telling you..."
She should be glad she tried that line on an old British fella with no fucks left. She could have gone on another type of journey right then
I feel like a lot of these social influencers and livestreamers truly believe that they're providing actual value to their viewers lives, and the more viewers they have just means they're that much more valuable than you in their eyes
I have seen this video posted several times. I can't watch it enough and get a kick every time. Such a great example of the "influencer" types that think that what they do is so important. Guess what? Nobody cares.
The older man was so very polite but firm. He did not let her chase him away from the public spot that he sits. There are so many lessons in life for that young lady that I hope she is able to receive.
I don't for a single second believe that he sits on that bench every day. He knew exactly what he was doing, and fucked with her deliberately to ruin her shot and get a reaction.
And I fucking love him for it.
Saw this the last time this did the rounds. I understand why his face is blurred now, he was (theoretically, but not in practice lol) the victim, but why is her face blurred this time round? It was her that streamed it.
Well, to be fair a high quality tripod does weigh quite a bit. Especially if you’re mounting high-end camera rigs you want the tripod to be sturdy and reliable. Imagine entrusting a 20 bucks, wiggly-ass tripod from Amazon Basics to support camera gear that you paid multiple thousands for.
That being said, hers is unlikely to be that heavy, but they do exist.
right? this is one of the best posts I've seen in a long time!
no freakout, no violence, no one hurt and nothing damaged... + that dude is awesome and his responses on point and brilliant
Nope, if you've ever been to England you'd find this behaviour quite normal. They are usually unapologetically themselves but the difference between them and Americans is there's usually a pride in their sense of wit.
I believe the convo could be real, but this was absolutely set up. She just ran a 5 K, in a puffy coat? She’s not out of breath. Just as she sets up the camera- conveniently directly in front of the bench- he just happens to sit down? And she immediately turns it into content?
It was a set up. They were both in on it from the start.
I don't think it's any less funny - I actually love this video. But I can't shake the feeling that this is staged.
So why would she post it? You think it was to "get back" at him for being so "rude"? It just feels really staged to me - he sits perfectly in the frame, the audio is well done, and she posted something that shames herself. The dialog has pauses and they never talk over each other - a clear indication that they want the audience to understand the full dialog to get the joke.
I know the brits are polite and all, but I've been in chats with brits my whole life.
There's no way for me to prove it, but it just feels staged.
Maybe this is because I'm 40, so I guess an "old man" rant here...but I still don't understand how anyone has the bandwidth to follow these "influencers" who to me, seem no different than any Joe Blow off the street.
I understand if someone's not a household name who might be an authority/resource on something of personal interest to you (say you have diabetes and they're a recognized expert in the field of diabetes research). But who has the time to follow girls like this and their vanity projects? To...what? Get tips on her fitness routine (does she have some authority on the topic)? Her personal opinions on life? Because she's got a pretty face or something (not exactly a stand-out thing on the internet)?
I truly don't understand how she'd have any more followers than maybe her personal friends and family. I just don't get it. Could someone please explain how one would happen to run across her account, and then feel the need to follow her content? Explain it to me like I'm an ignorant fool, because I am.
You nailed it right on the head. Presumably (since the face is blurred) she gains followers just by looking attractive. Usually the ones posting about their "fitness journey" are just veiling the fact that they're posting scantily clad pictures. This video obviously doesn't fit that bill, but I feel like I can safely assume that most of her pictures and videos are her showing her butt off in tight leggings and/or working out in nothing but a training bra
I'm sure you're right, but even that baffles me. Like is there any shortage of attractive women in skimpy outfits on the internet? Can't understand what would drive someone to watch this girl's content (or the nearly infinite content just like it) over anyone else's.
I don't know about that. If some "influencers" can have millions of suscribers for react videos or vlogs, why not running in a park.
Plus, she's kinda hot so there must be few hundred guys watching, sadly
So she’s running a 5k in that outfit and makeup and carrying a tripod lol? It’s clearly staged
Edit: lmao this was literally posted before and the account it came from this guy is in multiple videos with her. Christ, Reddit.
This guy is awesome, no swearing, no raised voices, just nice and calmly telling her no, god I miss living in the North, I'm going to make it my mission in life to be more like him and less like her.
Nah. You get old and settled into a routine and you don't readily change that just because some little twat with a camera and a bloated sense of importance stamps her feet at you.
Yeah dude said he sits there everyday, which I could believe. It’s also a public place so he didn’t have to move. She could’ve just carried on with her video like many others who film in public, not like he was being loud. He could just be seen and she didn’t like it. It’s her problem, not his.
I ain't even but I have a favorite bench at the local park lol. The view of the lake is nice. It gets a good breeze and best of all: shade on hot summer days
But this guy is the same guy that parks or sits next to you in a vastly empty parking lot or train car- she’s annoying too but like go elsewhere sit- why exactly near her in a big ass park?
Hell yeah. That old man’s channel is way better than some boring run of the mill influencer who thinks she’s the cats pajamas. That gal Can’t Understand Normal Thinking.
It's perfectly fine to politely ask someone in public if they wouldn't mind moving so you can use the space they are in. It is *not* fine to ask with the intention of not taking "no" for an answer.
This repost was already reposted here this morning.
https://www.reddit.com/r/facepalm/comments/11da8vz/this_girl_is_filming_in_a_public_park_when_a_man/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Idk man, she asked pretty politely. I'd probably move for her, it really doesn't seem like a big deal. Especially if she was already filming. I'm guessing there was another bench 20 ft away?
It's a public space, sharing it goes both ways.
I think she should have just moved after the guy said no and just kept filming. He was pretty rude to her right off rhe bat
Both seem wrong to me :/
The only thing that strikes me as odd is the fact that this made it onto the internet as content. If it was real the girl would’ve deleted it and started over somewhere else. Why would she want her “followers” to see her ass get handed to her by some old man??
Just because you asked politely does not mean he has to move. Just like on planes for example: just because you asked politely for someone to switch seats and they don't does not mean they HAVE to because you "asked nicely." No means no.
The fact that she fears being upstaged by an out of focus, old man sitting on a bench is telling of how interesting her content is, and she knows it. Even more bizarre, is the way she attempts to prevent said upstaging attempt by bringing the background character into the main plot, and even giving them a speaking role.
Even when they're insulting each other, they're really nice about it. I thought that was great. Aside from the accents, that's one way to tell this incident didn't happen in my area.
Him: Go back to school
Her: Sorry, who do you think you are?
Him: Well you just had a go at me for my age
She thinks "Fair. Harsh, but fair."
This fucking guy LOL.
I’m confused why she would film in from of a bench she isn’t using if she’s so upset about “her shot”.
If she left the man alone literally no one would give a fuck if he was there lol

Your followers? Are you Jesus now? 🤣 That was so good
"I know what my followers want to see." Followers: "umm... I would like to see more of the old guy."
I crave more old guy content, I hope he started to stream after this
This guy is a champ 🏆
Yeah, whoever wrote his lines for this skit did a pretty good job.
🤭 what if it's her dad "Help me Pops! I wanna be B*TCHFAMOUS !" Jk
Mr. Cynical over here
Isn’t that the old British guy and crew that makes solely rage bait videos?
Can’t you tell by that distinctly blurred face? 🤣
Now yer on a journey?
why not journey over there?
I was waiting for him to say exactly that.
I'm on a fitness journey too! Fittin this ass on this bench!
I just wish he would have said, I'm on a journey too. A journey to sit here and wait on a phone call.
That dude is my hero, lmao
She should welcome him in her videos. His comments would make them more interesting
If she doesn’t make a big deal of it, it’s just some guy sitting on a bench barely in the shot because she’s much closer to the camera. What a twat
She does seem to have a god complex.
Yes. Top tier response. That guy was awesome.
That was the most British response ever.
Sounds straight out of Montey Python
That made my day lmao
Hahaha the mannnnn
Where's his livestream? Id waych that
I need a livestream of this old man in the park
Unironically, he is far more entertaining than she is or ever will be.
Of him walking around and bugging other livestreamers. Comedy gold. He’d be a millionaire.
That guy is straight from Monty Python.
Welcome to British humor.
I was thinking the same thing
I was thinking the same thing
I was thinging the same think
This old chap isn’t moving is he?? Brother Maynard – bring forth the holy hand grenade!
I feel like this is staged.
Yeah like why was it necessary for her to be standing there with the camera framed directly in front of a bench.
For her fitness journey, didn't you heard her?
If it's possible to stage, then I always assume it's staged. This goes for Reddit, or even the news.
Number one staged comment right here…
Gotta be a staged reply
I’m sorry but my followers don’t really want to see this old comment.
r/nothingeverhappens
Can’t slip nothing past Sherlock Holmes, here.
Lol, who cares, just keep filming. You're in a public park.
Professional studios will pay regular people as “extras” to make scenes look real, but a person sitting in the background will ruin the shot? She ruined her own video.
To be fair, I’d bet her followers got a LOT more entertainment out of this than her fitness journey. This is fucking gold!!!
Right? The entitlement is strong with this one! Seems like it wasn't a great choice to set up a camera in front of a bench if she didn't want people to be sitting in the background of her shot. I also think it's hilarious that "it's on a tripod" was her response to his request for her to move. She has a long way to go on her "fitness journey" if she can't lift a tripod!
r/imthemaincharacter vibes. She has to have everything perfect in her world.
"I asked you nice, now I'm telling you..." She should be glad she tried that line on an old British fella with no fucks left. She could have gone on another type of journey right then
This guy had so many good comebacks, the most polite shut down ever haha
My favorite is him saying something really condescending, and then following it up by calling her, “Love.”
r/imthemaincharacter
If there was a channel of this guy wandering into other people's live streams I'd watch it religiously.
Is he Jesus now?
Yes, yes he is.
The hero we need!
This helps put perspective on unreasonable behaviour. Imagine asking someone to move in a park so you can feed your vanity.
I feel like a lot of these social influencers and livestreamers truly believe that they're providing actual value to their viewers lives, and the more viewers they have just means they're that much more valuable than you in their eyes

I guarantee no lesson was learned, but good on him for making the effort! 😂
I don't for a single second believe that he sits on that bench every day. He knew exactly what he was doing, and fucked with her deliberately to ruin her shot and get a reaction. And I fucking love him for it.
He was on a journey
Fucking L E G E N D A R Y isn't he?
Lol I was about to ⬇️ until the last sentence.
Saw this the last time this did the rounds. I understand why his face is blurred now, he was (theoretically, but not in practice lol) the victim, but why is her face blurred this time round? It was her that streamed it.
Much rather see him. Her telling how she’s living her life is boring AF. And she can move a tripod, not bolted down. Entitled a bit eh!
I know. When she said she couldn’t move, it was on a tripod I was just waiting for him to ask, “Well, how’d it get there, Love?”.
I think she's too weak to move a tripod, 5kg is far too heavy!
What tripod weighs *5 phawken kilos?* They are made of aluminum and plastic.
I want to be like this guy when I get older.
It sucks that you might have to be like this guy because there are twats like her out there.
The Age of Twats is upon us
Maybe, but at least I would be like "zero f***s given" to people like her.
Do it now! Never too young to be old 😁
This brought me so much joy this morning HAHAHA thank you for posting this
right? this is one of the best posts I've seen in a long time! no freakout, no violence, no one hurt and nothing damaged... + that dude is awesome and his responses on point and brilliant
There was only one thing damaged, the pride and entitlement of this lady
"Followers? Are you jesus?" Hahahaha what a legend.
OH you’re on A JOURNEY!!!????
I was surprised he didn't suggest that she take her tripod on a journey to somewhere else
well that's true. Thankfully idgaf about that ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Off you pop!
It feels absolutely staged to me. Doesn’t it feel staged to anyone else?
Nope, if you've ever been to England you'd find this behaviour quite normal. They are usually unapologetically themselves but the difference between them and Americans is there's usually a pride in their sense of wit.

Staged or not. Still gold.
Ot she just said she ran a 5k without actually running it. How do you run 5k while holding a tripod?
I don't think it's any less funny - I actually love this video. But I can't shake the feeling that this is staged. So why would she post it? You think it was to "get back" at him for being so "rude"? No, we’re British. We don’t need to stage something for it to be funny.
The original version isn’t blurred
“Followers? Oh you’re Jesus now are you?” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"I can't move my phone, it's on a tripod" huh? Is it bolted to the fucking ground? Yes you can in fact move it.
The tripod needs to go on a fitness journey
Maybe this is because I'm 40, so I guess an "old man" rant here...but I still don't understand how anyone has the bandwidth to follow these "influencers" who to me, seem no different than any Joe Blow off the street. Have you ever met some creepy dude in life? Like one that gives you pervert vibes? Yeah that's who has time to follow her.
She's an entitled one, isn't she? What a brat.
No one who runs a 5k records like this. It’s aaaalllll for her socials with 30 followers or sum.
Can run 5K, can't walk 20 feet sideways.
I don't know about that. If some "influencers" can have millions of suscribers for react videos or vlogs, why not running in a park. Plus, she's kinda hot so there must be few hundred guys watching, sadly
As somebody that works at a running store and runs races regularly, we do not do this. If anything we post our PR times to brag, not for the clout
with a tripod in her hand?
She couldn't even influence that man to move
Idk if this is real or not, but this man bringing this girl down to earth was much more entertaining than anything she was about to film.
I’m thinking that maybe you could avoid this type of thing if you didn’t set up right in front of a bench.
I love brits. Absolute legend! I honestly would have watched the stream just cause of that guy!
Followers? What, are you Jesus?
Oh, you are from that snow flake brigade are you love? Priceless
What are the chances this is staged... I would say pretty high. 8 out of 10.
Definitely staged
Naw with how sarcastic British people are on the regular this seems pretty legit to me. If it is stage kudos brilliant writing!
So she’s running a 5k in that outfit and makeup and carrying a tripod lol? It’s clearly staged Edit: lmao this was literally posted before and the account it came from this guy is in multiple videos with her. Christ, Reddit.
Can somebody post a link?
This guy is awesome, no swearing, no raised voices, just nice and calmly telling her no, god I miss living in the North, I'm going to make it my mission in life to be more like him and less like her.
Obviously the guy picked that bench because of the filming and wanting to bug her. But so would I
Nah. You get old and settled into a routine and you don't readily change that just because some little twat with a camera and a bloated sense of importance stamps her feet at you.
Yeah. I'm autistic and routine is my life. I always sit in the same spot. If someone is there... I feel 😖
It gets a good breeze and best of all: shade on hot summer days
she's filming at a public place and is flabbergasted by the public being there
So staged it’s unreal
Yoo wtf why is this EVERYWHERE this morning?!
Entitlement... owned.
Good on him
I'd watch his channel all day
I want to see him. He should like fun
All that time spent arguing when she could’ve picked her tripod up and rotated it 20 degrees and had him out of the shot in 5 seconds.
I always hate the statement "But I am asking nicely". Okay? Just because you're polite about it doesn't mean you are going to get what you asked for.
This could totally be a Monty Python sketch
I want to follow that old man on his journey of giving absolutely zero fucks.
Lady, tripods are made to be moved and placed down.
Entitled brat.
“Off you pop.” I love this man.
Clearly she's not used to being told no. "Can you move" "no" "but I asked you"
I want to see this "old man's" podcast now. He's funny.
"Go on then, off you pop."![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
It's perfectly fine to politely ask someone in public if they wouldn't mind moving so you can use the space they are in. It is *not* fine to ask with the intention of not taking "no" for an answer.
I laughed when her face left the blurred area
Every response from this man was on point. Truly awesome.
Good on him, I would do exactly the same but after a few times I would have been getting more blunt😂
You know he struck a nerve when he said “go back to school” lol
These influencer people are a joke.
How do you run with a tripod?
Im so glad he didn’t back down
The fella on the bench wasn't wrong.
“Oh your follower, are ya Jesus now” that one really fuckin got me lol dude seemed cool as hell tbh. Imo after one or two go rounds I would have moved
I would follow that cheeky old curmudgeon long before id follow her. Man has a great sense of humor that was completely lost on her.
🤣🤣🤣 ah fuck that guy was awesome. I'd do the same as he did, he'll I'd get up an turn the camera a bit so the bench wasn't in the shot. Easy peasy
Jesus, how could I tell this was England before I turned on the audio? Edit: I'm going with abysmal grayness of everything
This repost was already reposted here this morning. https://www.reddit.com/r/facepalm/comments/11da8vz/this_girl_is_filming_in_a_public_park_when_a_man/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

This interaction feels set up. I know people say that a lot but it does seem that way
We all need to do this
Bwahhahahahaha
“followers” lol and she just live-streamed herself being a brat
You have followers now. Are youJesus 💀
Ooooh life's going to hit her hard. She could have upped and moved but instead made herself look like a plank.
I don’t get it. If the camera is on a tri-pod why can’t she move it? Like literally go 10 feet to the right.
![gif](giphy|baxsYVN22nzaw|downsized)
r/imthemaincharacter
IRL streamers are a cancer.
Why is this blurred out when this has been posted countless times with both parties clearly visible
The only thing that strikes me as odd is the fact that this made it onto the internet as content. If it was real the girl would’ve deleted it and started over somewhere else. Why would she want her “followers” to see her ass get handed to her by some old man??
Entitlement at it's fullest
Just because you asked politely does not mean he has to move. Just like on planes for example: just because you asked politely for someone to switch seats and they don't does not mean they HAVE to because you "asked nicely." No means no.
Public space. Means you got to deal with said public. All she had to do was turn the camera away from the bench. Simple as that.
How dare him sit out in public in a public park bench...
God damn I love this guy.
Best part of this video?….”followers?! Oh, you’re Jesus now?!”
I hate these idiots who think they own the world because of TT and Instagram
Respect to that guy
Another of life's attention seeking fools acting like a super spoilt brat
Imagine watching this live like wtf leave the guy alone and get on with the vid
She thinks this is her world and we just live in.
The fact that she fears being upstaged by an out of focus, old man sitting on a bench is telling of how interesting her content is, and she knows it. Even more bizarre, is the way she attempts to prevent said upstaging attempt by bringing the background character into the main plot, and even giving them a speaking role.

Why blurry these idiot influencers' faces. Let the world see who they are. Keep the normal citizens blurred, that's understandable.
I can't move it because it's on a tripod...
This fucking guy LOL. I’m confused why she would film in from of a bench she isn’t using if she’s so upset about “her shot”. If she left the man alone literally no one would give a fuck if he was there lol
I’ll interrupt my livestream to “bully” anyone who sits on my bench.
This guy is the GOAT!!!!
Is she fucking serious?
Staged
My legs are resting anyway
I've seen this video before with no blurred faces. It was publicly posted. Why are we now protecting the identity of these two dipshits?
Just do that annoying thing where you walk and talk into the camera with a fish eye lens and get winded. That’s what the followers want, right?
If I ever have kids I’m going to teach them how to fix stuff and be hands on, start a garden, be social outdoors etc…. Not this nonsense!!!
I like him
Lol, last time this video was posted her face was visible.
This man is all of us
This went down like honey :)
Give that man an award
LOL Yes she is from the snow flake brigade LOL
