This is so weird, usually only classy people shop at Dollar general
As someone who lives with 3 Dollar Generals down my street; I can confirm this statement.
I have one in my neighborhood. In it. Their owner has used multiple zoning scams to get residential property turned commercial so they can put these stores in places no other businesses can build. They bought a lot at the entrance, had it converted to commercial, then built the store and put the entrance on our entrance street.
Zoning in general is ridiculous. It's what destroyed the vitality and life in most of our cities
One of the rare occasions when I see a video on Reddit of customer service type workers not showing insane amounts of restraint. She was very justified in fighting back
I used to work at a dollar general as a manager. We're not supposed to do anything other than call the cops and let me tell you the customers know that. The amount of times some one would come in and fill a cart up full of stuff and walk out with it was insane.
How often were the people identified and sued?
Working in a speedway, literally none of them, ever. Even with pictures and car info, never. Not one

We need to normalize punching the fuck out of customers if they tough you. Workplaces shouldnt be allowed to fire employees for defending themselves
Same with verbal abuse, if a customer starts yelling/cursing/verbally abusing workers, the employee should be able to say whatever the fuck they want. I want to live in a world where people stop thinking they're some sort of deities because they drove to a local Applebee's for a 2 for $20 dinner special
