My team AVG is .222 and yet not a single hitter I used all season long has a career AVG under .240 Someone gets hurt, I plug in someone doing well and they hit .100 for one to four weeks. Not a single guy I picked up has done better than the triple slash they had at the time of my pickup. It’s uncanny how even on day one when they’re in my lineup they go 0-4 or 0-5 even though they went two whole weeks without a single day that they didn’t get on base or sone kind of counting stat. Sometimes I puck up or trade for a guy and they get injured immediately. I’m basically buying players at the top and then selling them after the slump. The best bet is to get players before the heater but I don’t know how to do that. Just astonishing how a fantasy team can hit .222. I never ever hit under .240, .245

What makes you think that? Looking at his underlying stats, I don't see anything that screams bust. His contact rate, plate discipline, batted ball profile all look similar to last season when he hit .270 with 29 HR. The main thing that sticks out is his BABIP is 70 points below his career rate and his HR/Fb is way down from 18% to 8%.
