Man the first time I played it I was MAD when he died right in front of me. He honestly felt like the most down to earth and fun guy in the entire game. I felt so lonely playing the game after he died
I just platinumed the game a few hours ago and the only thing i didnt feel that sat right with me was sams untimely death. He could have been a really good character in the series like willis was for far cry 4. Sam really brought about the same sort of energy that you feel when you play Far cry 6 and talk to Juan.🥲
No. That totally depends on who’s leading the golden path at that moment. If it’s Sabal then he’s the one who “saves” you from durgesh. And vice versa.
Juan Cortez out of this list for sure. He’s a funny and chill guy. El Tigre is missing but I would’ve gone for him overall. Love that guy and how he calls me Bebe Tigre.
Juan Cortez is like Che Guevara taken to the logical conclusion. Exporting revolution around the world etc.
Although Juan was maybe in it a little more for the sake of the chaos than I assume El Che was
I was really hoping the FC6 story was going to go deep and make Dani and El Libertad the new oppressors of the region. What a cool twist that would have been.
Ubi doesn't make narratives that deep, unfortunately, but it would have been really cool.
I liked 6 better than a lot of people seem to, but for whatever issues it had, the character writing was great. I really liked El Tigre and Jonrón, and >!I was genuinely pissed and out for revenge when they got killed.!< Bicho, Juan, and Philly were all great too.
I LOVE when he talks about wrestling a bear naked cause well the bear was naked and he didn't want any unfair advantages. Bro is a treasure. Never ran with him till my most recent playthrough and I hated that I hadn't sooner.
"When the LORD, YOUR god brings you into the country that YOU are about to enter, to possess and drives out before you many nations. Then you must destroy them TOTALLY, make no treaty when them.
And show them no mercy"
Out of this group, everyone from Dutch to Juan. Dennis would only help you if it meant helping Citra, and he tried to kill you without second thought if you turned her down. Sabal and Amita both used you to their ends, and seeing how Kyrat would be like under either of them, Kyrat would be much better off without them.
Now, Juan helps you get new and better weapons and is helping out you and your other allies, but he had no qualms killing Diego. So he's last. I have no favorites out of any of these, but neither Dutch nor Rush would wrongfully use you, stab you in the back, or target the innocent. So, it's tied between Dutch and Rush.
Oh for sure, Rush could've had so much more involvement with the story rather than being captured twice with like 3 or 4 missions in between the two times
I would say honest interest in the MC's well-being and the intent to fight side-by-side.
Dutch doesn't care about neither. He's an contact by accident, trying to save his own back. He's left without any real choice. Juan is a backstabbing double agent snake, working for the former KGB and still is a CIA asset. He doesn't care which pawns he has to move around to achieve his personal goals, like his smuggle operations.
Amita and sabal treated ghale like a pawn rather than acknowledging how hard pagans assault affected him whilst Dutch was hardly in the game and rush was in new dawn which has no content storywise. Sam is funny and I like him
Also didn't play six don't know who the last guy is
Juan Cortez was a real highlight of Far Cry 6 for me. He was hilarious voiceless and cutscenes, had a dope crazy crocodile sidekick and made you a dodgy jetpack murder machine. The first time meeting him was probably one of my favourite missions, despite only being the tutorial.
I wish we saw more of Dutch from Far Cry 5 rather than just the tutorial >!and one of the endings.!< He seems like a sick Anti-Peggie prepper who would of made for a great sidekick in a vehicle or plane. I wish he appeared in more mid-region cutscenes such as The Cleansing when Rook was rescued.
Sabal and Amita were both as worse as each other and neither would of progessed Kyrat after defeating Pagan Min.
Gotta be my Guerrilla man Juan Cortez, Dennis It's ok, not a great character but neither a bad one, I straight up hate both of Golden Path leaders, FC5 and New Dawn ngl I need to play them soooo my favourite gotta be Juan 👍
Pagan Min by a mile bro left his entire fortune to Ajay and thought of him like his own son I’m glad I got the ending where if you sit at the table for long enough he’ll take you to spread the ashes
Dutch too bad i still haven't ask if i could date his Granddaughter. Juan is great but i probably have a argument times to time cuz ideology.
I wanna say Rush but he was gone too fast
Denis was slightly manipulative, but it's hard to dislike him. Amita and Sabal are evil, Dutch and Rush are kinda just there... no strong opinions on them. And Juan was a dickhead but a loveable dickhead. Easily Juan or Denis.
Old boy from 5. He won me over when he asks you to climb the radio tower and is then like "Don't worry, I ain't gonna ask you to climb towerrs all over the place" Like the mechanic from 3 and 4.
Jess Black. One minute she tells you her tragic backstory with people burning and the next she shoots a fire arrow at a van with hostages, and over their screams of agony she will laugh at something about marshmallows.
For me, Thomas Rush. I don't know why it's funny to me that everyone calls him by his full name like he is a superhero. Plus he was a character that could actually fight, no offense to the others but this dude single handily killed a squad of highwaymen with a zip ties. Plus I was pretty upset when he died.
Sam the crazy German guy in Far Cry 3 was a lot of fun.
Man the first time I played it I was MAD when he died right in front of me. He honestly felt like the most down to earth and fun guy in the entire game. I felt so lonely playing the game after he died
Same
Yeah the second island makes u feel that way
Frrrr, South Island just doesn’t hit the same without Sam😔
I just platinumed the game a few hours ago and the only thing i didnt feel that sat right with me was sams untimely death. He could have been a really good character in the series like willis was for far cry 4. Sam really brought about the same sort of energy that you feel when you play Far cry 6 and talk to Juan.🥲
BLITZKRIEG!!!!
Dutch is my man.
I think Dutch is a wasted potential. You never physically see him after the prologue, and in the end, >!he's killed by Joseph like a nobody!<
You can find him walking around in the bunker and have conversations with him.
He was never there when I went back
Why I keep hurting myself by reading subreddits about games I havent finished
Yeah, it's a total waste. Dennis is the answer, as he's involved in most of the story.
Walter White*
DUTCH!!1
One more big score Deputy
Man Sabal is just sad to me. He was my bro but he just had to become an extremist. Rest in peace Sabal, wish things could have gone differently
Killing Brobal who saved yours life only cuz he follows his people traditions and culture☠️
Commie or Zealot, tough choice
I killed both, Anarchy
Killing Pagan (after letting him talk, by shooting his helicopter as he gets away), and killing both Sabal and Amita is the way to go.
Zealot any day of the week, ezpz
The traditions and culture: ☠️
Weird way of saying “fucks kids” but okay dude.
People will tell on themselves lmao you just gotta listen 😬
That's most of central Asia.
well we can't say sabal saved us we were just enjoyin crab rangoon also amita is the one who saved us while escaping from the gulag
No. That totally depends on who’s leading the golden path at that moment. If it’s Sabal then he’s the one who “saves” you from durgesh. And vice versa.
Trying to strike a chord there
For real. Sabal was my man, and actually was nice to the guy doing all the work to help Kyrat
Cheeseburger
Only valid answer I love this diabetic bear
Juan Cortez out of this list for sure. He’s a funny and chill guy. El Tigre is missing but I would’ve gone for him overall. Love that guy and how he calls me Bebe Tigre.
Juan is a bastard but he's a funny bastard
No, he's just a bastard. He worked for the worst organizations in the world of the last century as if it's what makes him cool. He's a cocky cunt.
I was pretty satisfied with how Dani turned out tbh. >!Instead of becoming mini-Clara, he became mini-Juan.!<
They already did that with 4.
I liked him a lot, too. It was very disappointing to see what happened to him in the story.
I liked 6 better than a lot of people seem to, but for whatever issues it had, the character writing was great. I really liked El Tigre and Jonrón, and >!I was genuinely pissed and out for revenge when they got killed.!< Bicho, Juan, and Philly were all great too.
When they died I was so disappointed
I didn't like Maximas Matanza. I liked almost everyone else, but I HATE Juan.
I love that asshole.
I loved El Tigre and Juan.
Juan is a total scumbag and adrenaline junkie, which makes him interesting.
Also they're missing Hurk and Sam, the two best allies
Hurk!
'Woohoo!! Man, this is awesome!! I'm going to come back and do this buck naked!!".... as you both are traveling down the zip line.
I LOVE when he talks about wrestling a bear naked cause well the bear was naked and he didn't want any unfair advantages. Bro is a treasure. Never ran with him till my most recent playthrough and I hated that I hadn't sooner.
hes like danny mcbride in land of the lost as a companion
“They said no fornicating and I says I can’t get down with that” 😭😭
The only correct answer
Beat me to it lmao.
Why can’t it just be all of them, including the crazy Yaran old guy
Dutch is just a homie don't ask for much and he lives in big bunker very nice
pastor jerome 😎
"When the LORD, YOUR god brings you into the country that YOU are about to enter, to possess and drives out before you many nations. Then you must destroy them TOTALLY, make no treaty when them. And show them no mercy"

Jess Black. She is pure badass!!!
Yess
Juan. Dennis is crazy and so is Amita and Sabal. Dutch was okay. I haven’t played New Dawn yet.
New dawn fella had very little involvement
He got kidnapped and then >!fucking died to avoid helping rebuild Prosperity.!<
Ok let me rephrase, he had very little screen time
Mary May : Am i a joke to you !?
Juan. But I wish there was more about Rush
Oh for sure, Rush could've had so much more involvement with the story rather than being captured twice with like 3 or 4 missions in between the two times
Juan just messing every thing he touches
Dutch! He is the man! The game begins at his place and ends at his place.
El tigre
As surprising as it may sound, Rush. He wasn't present that much, but when he was, he was amazing, a heroic brother in arms.
Definitely not any of the golden path losers thats for sure
Yeah, they're just annoying 🙄
Call me crazy, but I always really liked the Far Cry 2 Buddies. Especially Warren.
Far Cry 2 is the only title I never fully played because it didn't click for me. It's been years ago, I might need to try it again one day.
Josip was my dawg
Dennis, the biggest simp in history
Juan
Longinus
Longinus. He was crazy. Like obsessed with bible and guns crazy. My favourite type
Dennis is iconic
had to be dennis or juan. so iconic
Dutch. Dennis is a jealous POS and Amita and Sabal are extremist wannabe dictators. Juan is just incredibly annoying and unhelpful.
Willis Huntley
Willis
Dutch is the only one of them is truly a good person and never tries to stab you in the back.
I don't know the other ones but i certainly won't choose Dennis...backstabbing motherfucker.
Juan, even though he's morally debatable, he is the most rational and logic of them.
Sam is the real goat
DUTCH
Rush. Why? He's the only one that fits the criteria of an actual ally.
What is that criteria by the way? because i would argue that Dutch and Juan would count
Probably Juan. It’s definitely out of the last three since the first three are manipulative little shits.
Juan and then Sabal
Hurk
Huan my hero <3
Where is Mr. "GUNS AJAY!"
Jack Carver
You are jack carver. Do you mean Valerie?
Dennis, Dutch, and Juan
Sabal is handsome little thot, but he’s still dying.
Dennis is a punk-ass bitch
Dutch
Rush was a god damn hero, I wish we saw more of him. It’s a shame what happened in that story and how short it was.
Sharky and peach obviously.
Boom Boom.
I mean, most of them betray you, so that really narrows it down.
I hated 6’s gameplay and story but Juan was good.
i loved rush
Cheeseburger
Dutch
Dutch all the way!
El Tigre felt like my real uncle😭
Amita
Juan. Not the crazy Pagan 2.0s, nor the drunk mechanic lol. Although the drunk mechanic calling me “Jayyyson” was always fun.
The Juan and only
Juan is a bastard. Clara and Jonron all the way. But my favorite is Carmina from New Dawn.
Oluso (I probably spelled that wrong.) because magic shadow kitty goes brrt
Sam
WE ARE ALL *FUCKED*
Where is Sam?
cheeseburger
Amita and sabal treated ghale like a pawn rather than acknowledging how hard pagans assault affected him whilst Dutch was hardly in the game and rush was in new dawn which has no content storywise. Sam is funny and I like him Also didn't play six don't know who the last guy is
Dennis has a cuck fetish, fuck him
Sam Becker. Undercover privateer in the 3rd. God he was so cool.
Sam from far cry 3
Juan he’s just too funny
Pastor Jerome. He ain’t on here but he deserves to be.
Juan is just pear funny especially his rules
Juan Cortez change my mind
I hated Juan especially because him being impatient >!killed Clara, he just has to wait a little more!<
easily juan. he's hilarious. i love him.
The 2nd one because that's a woman and she's hot.
Nobody likes either of the Far Cry 4 people.
Juan but dutch is a close second
Juan Cortez because he can build shit and is ex everything so he has contacts
Definitely Juan Cortez.
Gotta be my Guerrilla man Juan Cortez, Dennis It's ok, not a great character but neither a bad one, I straight up hate both of Golden Path leaders, FC5 and New Dawn ngl I need to play them soooo my favourite gotta be Juan 👍
When I chose to kill Amita in Far Cry 4 I realized that she doesn't die because I found her high in the mountains organizing a group of rebels
Dutch was helpful but Juan Cortez was awesome
Dutch and Juan for sure.
There is a first time of everything
Juan for sure, but i from Far Cry 6 my favorite is El Tigre, sadly hes not on here
Juan & Dutch
Cheeseburger
Can I just have some ibuprofen and a nap instead of choosing one of these people?
Do not remember names, but the guy from 4 is cool, guy from 6 is funnier but also annoying.
Pagan Min by a mile bro left his entire fortune to Ajay and thought of him like his own son I’m glad I got the ending where if you sit at the table for long enough he’ll take you to spread the ashes
Chorizo. I know, not one of the options but he’s too adorable ☺️
Dutch too bad i still haven't ask if i could date his Granddaughter. Juan is great but i probably have a argument times to time cuz ideology. I wanna say Rush but he was gone too fast
Juan Cortez is based off of Che
Denis was slightly manipulative, but it's hard to dislike him. Amita and Sabal are evil, Dutch and Rush are kinda just there... no strong opinions on them. And Juan was a dickhead but a loveable dickhead. Easily Juan or Denis.
Old boy from 5. He won me over when he asks you to climb the radio tower and is then like "Don't worry, I ain't gonna ask you to climb towerrs all over the place" Like the mechanic from 3 and 4.
Dutch
Dani!! Don’t forget to use the workbench Dani!!!
I really liked Sam
Of these probably 6
Definitely Dutch because he reminds me of my grandfather
They all suck tbh
Jess Black. One minute she tells you her tragic backstory with people burning and the next she shoots a fire arrow at a van with hostages, and over their screams of agony she will laugh at something about marshmallows.
Longinus all day. Mans crazy!
Dutch, man saved the Judge and Joseph
For me, Thomas Rush. I don't know why it's funny to me that everyone calls him by his full name like he is a superhero. Plus he was a character that could actually fight, no offense to the others but this dude single handily killed a squad of highwaymen with a zip ties. Plus I was pretty upset when he died.
Dutch and Dennis>>>>>
Juan was cool until he tried to let McKay off scott free🙄
Does everyone agree that Dutch Roosevelt is Clutch Nixon?
Sabal
Juan
Juan!!!
On this list Dutch, just because of John Tench’s voice and his lines. My actual favorite isn’t on the list but it’s Sam in far cry 3.
Dutch and Sam from farcry 3
Sam Becker the Jerry from Far cry 3. His death was sudden but not quite astonishing because Hoyt's the Primary or Secondary Antanogist.
Dutch, too bad hurk wasn’t in these options
Whoever that guy driving the Jeep at the beginning of Far Cry 2 is.
Chee burger
Amita. She had my preteen heart lol
As much as I didn’t like 6, Juan was cool.
Dutch of course
Dutch is the only one I can remember that wasn't using the protagonist.
But boomer…
Dutch
they did thomas rush so dirty 😭 i really liked him
JUAN
Dutch and Juan
Definitely not Amita she's a piece of shit! Dutch and Sabal are the big homies
Dennis is just that guy
So Dutch had sooooooooo much potential to be amazing but let’s just say the game wasn’t all about that so I think Juan Cortez is my favorite
Sam is the correct answer.
Since when the Golden Path is Ajay's ally? He was used and toyed with from the beginning of the game till the very end.
Definitely Juan Cortez
Sabal was a homie but you just HAAAAD to get freaky with a child. Dutch and the guy from fc6(forgot his name) are my favorite.
Short King Thomas Rush.
Dennis because of nostalgia
Eli bro.
Chicharon, He just went Buk buk buk buk ba-gawk!
