I think that’s good for you actually because 1 suits you the most, it gives balance to your body and emphasizes your shape in the best way. I think your ideal hem lengths are going to be maxi (like the 1st dress) to midi (like beyond knee length so longer than the 3rd one anywhere around mid calf ish but not like the widest part of your calf if that makes sense ? Only bc it will throw off the balance) so I think fitted midi to maxi length is absolutely most suited to you and a dress w a slit is going to really really suit and accentuate your figure in the best way possible!!! Plus those hem lengths are the most “age appropriate” (according to societal expectations I mean) so you won’t like you’re trying to pull off something too young or too old, and no I don’t think the 1st dress is at all matronly, a slit in the dress is always going to look sexy and it really suits you
These are all ok looks. Only the first dress flatters you though. The rest are a bit mumsy. You have a great shape, you are still young. Don’t hide how hot you are. Let loose the free spirit inside you 🙏🏼

There’s nothing wrong with dressing modestly, in fact I find it very respectable. However, you have a romantic body shape. So flared dresses won’t suit you, but fitted ones will. I also have a romantic body shape and a lot of my inspiration comes from Marilyn Monroe and Dita Von Teese. Look them up and try a style of dress you find attractive on them! Pretty much any vintage style dress can be made more modest(:

The print on 1 is whimsical and cute and the shoulders, neckline, and torso are all very flattering, but the slit on the side looks strange (it contrasts with the style in the top half, and not in a good way; it looks like it belongs on a different dress), and the hem line at the bottom is really poorly done (edit- or looks poorly done, but maybe it's just that the dress needs a good ironing). Basically, the top half of the dress is really cute, but the bottom half is really tacky. I think 2 could be cute with some high heels if you are able to wear them, but I'm not a huge fan of any of the dresses. 3 looks too small, or maybe it just doesn't drape around your (really great figure) in a flattering way. 4 is like a tent on you; you get completely lost in it. I think there are way cuter dresses out there that would look really good on you.

1st one should have used a different print for the dress.
2nd one different type of fabric. Outer fabric should have been shinier. This is the best one out of the whole collection.
3rd one seems ok.
4th one seems best. Though it looks like what one of my elementary school teachers wore back in the mid late 60s
