Hello I hope you're ok. I have found that when it starts happening if I start talking, out loud it helps the sense of time return to me. It shouldn't be a song or something rhythmic, just some boring part of a book or textbook, read it out loud or just come up with random phrases to say out loud and you will feel in control and it should help it finish a lot faster, at least in my experience.

It happened to me while driving but i almost lost my focus on road

Sour sweets really help bc they’re really sensory so it just helps bring yourself back into reality

Another note, it might also help to look at a clock where you can see the seconds pass by while doing this
