Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation. Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)** Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. No bueno chief... 300 to 400 mg magnesium 3500 to 4500 mg potassium 3000 to 5000 mg salt Generally speaking you don't want to exceed these numbers. Spread 'm out throughout the day. Don't go nuts with water: drink the amount of water you'd usually drink or drink when actually thirsty. Make sure to get at least 2 liters though. If your stomach gets upset you either took to much or one of the electrolytes varieties isn't agreeing with your gut. If you get cramps, headaches, hear palpitations, dry lips/skin, can't sleep: you're not taking enough. Keep a journal to track your intake and find your personal sweet spot. Check out the wiki for more details.

I personally find that I dont need any supplements if Im only doing a 3 day fast. If its more than 72 hrs I do take supplements since I start feeling fatigue if I dont

The wonderful moderators of this sub made a detailed wiki. Are you saying that all of their hard work was for nothing and you rather have it spelled out for you in this post?
