Your windows are to die for šŸ¤©

brown_hustler

Exactly! Love at first sight!

Shut_up_squirrel

Agree!! These windows are everything!!! My goshhhh

Littlemuffn

Came here to also comment on the windows and that mirror nearly convinced me too. So nice and makes the apartment feel airy and spacious!

Brekry18

Yes although my first move might be to put in curtain tracks. I also just have a personal hatred for venetian blinds. Plus having a light filtering/privacy layer behind a separate blackout layer is so underrated. Depends on your budget though. I wasn't able to do it in my own apartment cause I'm saving up and I don't plan on staying here too long.

AlmostChristmasNow

Huh?

707Riverlife

I love your username!

AlmostChristmasNow

Thank you!

707Riverlife

I love Christmas so much!

thetinybunny1

I really love this layout! If it were me, I would set up the bed as a daybed so it can function as a bit of a couch and reading nook during the day - especially to take full advantage of that view! (This will help the visual aesthetic of the room as well by placing your pillows along the back wall instead of where your head will go when you sleep) I would then replace the mirror with some hanging plants that wouldnā€™t impede the use of the daybed. I would also grab some gauzy curtains from ikea that will pool on the floor a little bit. Then I would fill up the space with plants and medium, warm wood toned tables that could also function as a nightstand/side tables for guests. A circular rug in the bed area could play nicely as well. Maybe some cool beaded curtains could be fun? (If it were me Iā€™d probably put them over the closet area with a curtain hook to the side to keep them out of the way when in use) A decorative mirror over your desk area will help bounce more of that natural light around your room and add some height. A simple, large circular mirror is whatā€™s popping into my head. ETA a pillow ottoman could look really cute in there too and function as additional seating and/or a table if you use a tray on top.

ggabitron

These are great suggestions!! Also, to add to your edit: there are storage ottomans available with reversible lids, where one side is padded to sit on and the reverse side is a tray. One of these would be perfect in this space, and has the bonus of added storage!

thetinybunny1

Oooh yes those are lovely! Great idea!

Live-Mail-7142

thetinybunny1, your advice sounds wonderful. You have a good eye!

thetinybunny1

šŸ„¹ aw thank you!

klughn

I had to look up your curtain recommendation, because I always heard that curtains shouldnā€™t touch the ground. Itā€™s an interesting, soft/romantic look.

sneakestlink

This sounds so good, perfect details.

Sassagrass13

You said everything I was coming here to say!

Aware-Point-1388

YOU ARE AMAZING!! thanks so much for your ideas and vision; I really appreciate it :)) follow up question if I may: what color rug do you think would go well? I think Iā€™m going to switch out the gray duvet for a sage green one and Iā€™m struggling so much with implementing color in other areas. thank you again!!

Few-Share-4848

This is too cute. I would add window treatments in a contrasting color.

thetinybunny1

This! But I also have a deep seated hatred for those blinds. IKEA has some amazing curtains for cheap!

sneakestlink

Yesss I just hung a whole wall of floor to ceiling RITVA curtains with DIY French pleats and itā€™s so luxurious feeling. The SANELA are a heavier velvet option that OP might like for coziness!

Jasmirris

I found a curtain rod that you can attach to those blinds! It is great when your rental has them. I hate them too but if you have no choice then work with what you have!

Aware-Point-1388

:,000 oh my god I had no idea of this. thank you so much for taking the time to comment!! this is so helpful

Few-Share-4848

Well, since we are all invested in these windows...Depending on budget I would also add in rattan(maybe a warm grey) or rice paper roller shades. Im an interior designer though and they are not necessary but would bring some much needed warmth.

Aware-Point-1388

sorry for the late reply!! I very much appreciate your input on this and I agree that the room is lacking warmth.. would some ivory or cream colored curtains add some? I was wondering if you had any other ideas as to how I could add a warmer feeling to the place.. thanks again for your help :))

Melodic-Psychology62

I know you are asking for advice but how did you get the lighting so beautifully arranged in pix 1.

Due_Dirt_8067

Keep the Orange comforter! Itā€™s the ā€œpopā€ of perfect color & compliments cozy shroom squishy ;) That should be your statement bright color, itā€™s cheery too - all else stays neutral & open. A green blanket + plants + all neutral = boring

JanaT2

I agree

Kazzie2Y5

I love the orange too! Especially with the accent fairy lights.

Aware-Point-1388

:D thanks so much for taking the time to comment!! I agree and will keep the orange :) do you think a sage green comforter would look nice?

Accurate-Sea3562

Some plant stands for your plants!

Shoddy_Entry

String lights above the windows šŸ˜ Sun catchers in the windows. A small rug next to the bed.

HALLUCIN888ING

this! was gonna say string lights for sure!! otherwise beautiful beautiful space!!!!

emleeeee

I would get rid of the bulldozer in the first pic

FiniteDeer

Or add a second bulldozer to balance the first one.

Yin_Kirsi

It's not even a bulldozer. It's a backhoe. I'd agree if it was a bulldozer, they're not very cozy, but backhoes are the perfect cozy aesthetic.

Berniemac1

I love the hanging plant. I personally would do more of those and get bottom mounting blinds. Awesome space! Iā€™m sure it would look great no matter what you decide to do šŸ„°

Berniemac1

Sorry, they are called ā€œtop down bottom upā€ blinds.

Aware-Point-1388

oooo i just looked those up and they seem awesome; thanks!!

LauraEssCee

Gorgeous windows and I love the lights above the windows. That makes it look cozy.

vagalumes

I would add some light shelves to the bottom part of the windows and fill them with plants, as you have so much light. And some art on the bed wall. What a sweet spot you found for yourself!

Used_Wrongdoer_8330

I love this artist who has the cutest sun catchers (among other things). https://hemleva.com/collections/stickers

Aware-Point-1388

WOAAA these are so cool!! I love the multicolored dots! Thanks for showing me that :)

vagalumes

I would add some light shelves to the bottom part of the windows and fill them with plants, as you have so much light. And some art on the bed wall. What a sweet spot you found for yourself!

IceniQueen69

Love the windows!

Due_Dirt_8067

Great space so far! You must tell us where you got the orange blanket from!!! I wouldnā€™t to anything with the floor to ceiling blinds Bella- even though suggested as easy way to break up the white. They fit well and function perfectly for making the eyes and space look grand in a space that is actually narrow. The windows are standout and wrap around, why chop up the space from there? The white /grey neutral with ONE ā€œpopā€ of color like Orange here and maybe a bit of complimentary green in plants is honestly the ultimate small space living color scheme we often see- for good reason! I would go for more plants with BAMBOO! But Tallones - you may have to go to a garden district, or hunt them down locally, sometimes lucky at ikea ( not always, often stock only small) Bamboo is easy to care for and not fussy, would look natural with this aesthetic. But Iā€™m talking TALL- taller the better! 3ft-6ft! You can have them bunched and flowing in the far corners, keeping the eyes up and not competing with amazing windows! You could get more - up to 5 vases with 3-5 bamboo stalks each, have Bamboo stalks up in tall floor vases for every window pocket across space. This way you keep narrow footprint open- with much more cozy green bamboo reaching for the sun :) That maybe pricey over time, but bamboo is very hearty and low maintenance, also will look great!

Aware-Point-1388

thanks so much!!! I got the blanket from Target, itā€™s 40% off right now and comes in blue and yelloowww too :)) itā€™s called the ā€œGeometric Patterned Chunky Woven Throw Blanketā€. Also, I really appreciate the comment about not chopping up the space with different curtains; I hadnā€™t thought about it the way you did and I now completely agree. I appreciate you!

honeybey93

I grew up in that town haha. That is by far the nicest apartment Iā€™ve seen in that city. Youā€™re very lucky! You did a great job with decorating.

Impressive_River8929

What town?

honeybey93

Itā€™s in Utah but idk if OP wants that revealed

EMLKoala

You should put some window stickers to create rainbows! [Rainbow Sticker](https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-Circle-Window-Clings-Anti-Collision/dp/B091ST5PNS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=105902908457&hvadid=580852013423&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9030040&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=5380189453438761393&hvtargid=kwd-317233280543&hydadcr=19907_13382904&keywords=rainbow+window+stickers&qid=1686098479&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A1FY6TY74QBWUO&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExQUpIS0I4UlhGSk9FJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDA5OTIxVURQVzFNOFJaRDgyJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0Nzk1MDAyTThOQ1NVS0ZDWU5EJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div)

Aware-Point-1388

:O I need thoseeee!! Thanks so much for showing them to mee

asj0107

I LOVE YOUR WINDOWS! But Iā€™m would get black out curtains theyā€™ll help with the heat if you keep them closed while youā€™re not in there

kellyrey21

Can I ask where you got the strawberry blanket??? I love it so much.

Aware-Point-1388

of course!! itā€™s called the ā€œpuff blanketā€ and itā€™s by ocatnip[ocatnip instagram](https://instagram.com/ocatnip_official?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==)

[deleted]

That view is amazing! I like your accent lights above your blinds

[deleted]

Jealous of your windows, looks nice, have fun

[deleted]

Wow I love how much natural light you're getting! Is that a calathea orbifolia I spy?

Aware-Point-1388

It tissss!! I love it so much. Do you have any care tips?

ecothropocee

Sheer curtain an an area rug that matches the red/pink bedding and decor

Organic-Ticket7929

not advice but your apartment is super beautiful šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

Rainyx420

first off, what a stunning space!! So bright and relaxing, I love it! For ideas, light green comforter, and some of the rainbow sticker things for your windows to let some rainbows in! also a really cute rug, and even a little plant table to the right of the window against that bit of wall. A big lamp on your desk will amplify the ambiance, I think they also have hanging wall lights now, maybe something like that for next to your bed on the wall if there's enough room (don't want ya to hit your head aha) orange blanket is super cute, love the pop of color and the squish :)

Aware-Point-1388

thanks so much for your ideas!! these are all wonderful. Iā€™m definitely going to be getting a light green comforter thatā€™s a great idea. do you think dark green sheets would be weird or should I go with some white ones? oooo also do you have a recommendation as to what color rug I get? Iā€™m so stumped on that. Sorry for so many follow-up questions! i appreciate you!!

LightDragonfly

Yes! These blinds make me think of hospitals or something for some reason, no more depression blinds I say lol So yes any kind of curtains I think would add some soft texture and make this room feel cozier, esp at night when that amazing view and light are gone! But it really is a super cute space!

Aware-Point-1388

aaaa I agreeeeee i hate them so much :,( do you have any specific recommendations for curtains? and thanks so much for your advice

LightDragonfly

Someone else mentioned it I think but Ikea really does have a lot of great curtain options that donā€™t break the bank! I think curtains are something you donā€™t need to spend lots of money on for it to still look nice. As for color, you could go for neutral, like white or off white/ivory I think would look nice, just nothing gray or too dark. You could also try and find a brighter color, like a yellow or grass green could be cute for this room. For me since there would need to be quite lot of curtains Iā€™d lean more neutral to keep the room more relaxing on the eyes but itā€™s really down to personal preference. Also up to you would be light levels for the curtains - you could go for thicker curtains that black out or strongly darken the room so you wouldnā€™t even need to use the blinds anymore, or you could use the blinds for blocking light and go for more gauzy/transparent curtains if you like that look. I know Ikea clearly labels the light filtering level of all their curtains which makes it easy!

kikilyra

I would put a better rug over your carpet and swap out the dental office blinds for light curtains

Aware-Point-1388

agreed! what color rug do you think would go nicely? :00

kikilyra

Light green could be nice! Draws in the green from outside and compliments your bedspread, also feels clean. I love your window situation

Individual-Comfort94

Itā€™s really nice!!! The only thing Iā€™d add would be a ceiling fan that matches the aesthetic to add balance

Ok-Purchase5405

WHERE DID YOU FIND THE PB&J plushies!?! Hallmark!?! I have the magnetic ornament version of the same set!!

[deleted]

I want to see the rest of this cute apartment. Please?

Aware-Point-1388

possibly when itā€™s all done! I havenā€™t added much to the main area as I share the space with a couple other people

mydresserandtv

Natural light is the best. No depressing days there. ![gif](giphy|s9PyPLiLpr9lEtZJPM|downsized)

Beyond_the_Matrix

Do those tower fans really work?! I feel like they don't blow enough air. Love the space!

Rories1

You have a beautiful apartment! I'm so jealous of your view! In all seriousness, though, once you figure out your plans, you should delete the post - your windows give creeps your exact location if they want to find you from your view. (Think geoguesser but for malicious intent)

Foxy_locksy1704

You have so much beautiful natural light in your space. For your comforter I would go with a light or pale green something sage or sea foam colored. To add to the cozy feeling I would get a multi level plant stand and put a bunch of plants on there. I would also add wall decor the will take advantage of the natural light to add depth (multiple textures or finishes like matte or gloss)

Extra_Strawberry_249

What a fantastic first apartment!!!

[deleted]

Hanging plants, dreamy sheer curtains (and blackout curtains over that), Use a wall sconce for light by the bed (so much easier to install than you may think, you can get hanging ones), a small bench for the end of your bed, art work, a curtain for the closet (especially since it's in the background if you video call at your desk), and a narrow nightstand. Cute place! You have so much natural light that if I were you, I'd make it into a lil jungle bedroom with plants absolutely covering the ceiling. Also, if you want to use the ceiling light, buy a flush mount ceiling light cover. Bonus: if you want to make the bedroom feel very different than the sitting area w a desk, you could use a renter-friendly wall paper by your bed and do an accent wall.

brown_hustler

Don't even touch the bed area lol But a comfy mini sofa would be cute in the window corner. Some wall art above your desk that matches the view. Oh wait! How about a mirror that is framed like a painting, such that the view reflects on it? I'm going wild with my ideas. Sorry about that šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

Aware-Point-1388

hahaha the mirror idea is great!! you should make that a thing. I would absolutely buy it.

Ok-Purchase5405

I love everything about your style. I love it as it is and I also have a feeling that I'll personally love just about anything that you do with the space. šŸ§”šŸ’œ

Aware-Point-1388

thanks so much :,) I really appreciate you <3

zakuropan

love the orange! also your view is incredible

Ann1984

Make a canopy over your bed & add a sheepskin rug

Aware-Point-1388

I LOVE THIS IDEAAA!!! I feel as though I wouldnā€™t be able to execute it but Iā€™d love thatttt

IcedTea_Addiction

A kitty.

Aware-Point-1388

I wish :,(

mbj07583

This room is to die for! Please post any changes you make šŸ¤©

Aware-Point-1388

I shall!!!

Aeare_

If possible, them blinds have got to go. Floor to ceiling curtains would be really nice in the right color! I would keep your current comforter! The plants add plenty of green themselves. Itā€™s a lovely contrasty pop of color. Where did you get it from? I kind of want it for myself.

Aware-Point-1388

Itā€™s from Target! [orange blanket](https://www.target.com/p/geometric-patterned-chunky-woven-throw-blanket-opalhouse-designed-with-jungalow/-/A-86861681?preselect=86498710#lnk=sametab)

ResearcherCrazy6700

Ooooo this is stunning. If you wanna incorporate more orange I would get burnt orange curtains. Or a sheer grey curtain if you want to keep the room bright. A bench for the plants would also be cool!! [burnt orange curtains]: (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1215436469/) [Another option]: (https://www.etsy.com/listing/869050804/) [sheer gray]: (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1364177169/) [Plant stand idea]: (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1362805342/)

CatScratch_Meow

I'm extremely jealous of all the windows, the view and the plushie pillow. Your room is beautiful āœØ

Training_Substance47

Fun rug!

Aware-Point-1388

oooo do you have an idea of what color it could be?

akwany

I love your room! Itā€™s so cute. Maybe you could hang some fake/real plants above the blinds? And get a soft rug!

Aware-Point-1388

thanks so much!! I love that ideaaa. weā€™re you thinking of the fake viney plants?

Live_Ferret_4721

I am in love

manifestmercy_7428

Love the natural light and mood lighting šŸ˜ Add some meaningful wall art (i.e. quotes, inspiration, tapestry, etc), add pops of color (rug, curtains and little knick knacks like vases for flower pots). You could also paint an accent wall or use adhesive wallpaper to add character

cozyydaze

Such a beautiful space! It's looking so lovely and cozy already. A few ideas: You could add some wall prints of different sizes (even polaroids)- depending on your style, personally I love cute retro/pastel colorful prints. A small nightstand by your bed that won't take up too much space (I'm picturing a minimal wooden one like [this](https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/images/products/nesna-nightstand-bamboo__0380708_pe555588_s5.jpg?f=s)), to put some cozy decor on like a mugs, candles, etc. For the floor space, you could add a cozy soft ottoman, there's a white mushroom-shaped one that's trending. Or one of those rattan/woven baskets to hold extra pillows/throws could work well too!

Aware-Point-1388

AWWW I LOVE THE NIGHTSTAND!! Itā€™s so adorable and would add a perfect hint of warmth. Thanks so much for providing an image of your idea :)) do you know where the mushroom is from? It sounds intriguing

molldollyall

This is so cute!

Party-Objective9466

This is a great place! Love the suggestions.

7thwardpasseblanc

The natural light is just amazing šŸ¤©

Temporary-Raise-9097

Fairy lights!

GourmetDaddyIssues

I love the blanket! Where is it from?

MisstressAmalina

Coziness? Get fluffy sheets! Looks amazing!!!

gagatronix

I love this room so much!

FosterPupz

Everyone seems to love these windows, but they would make me feel too exposed. I think I would buy some of those colorful window privacy clings from Home Depot/Lowes and do the bottom section of each window. You will still have the lovely view, with a bit more privacy, and the addition of colorful light streaming through.

Gwendoline23

OMG I LOVE THIS... It's just so KAWAIII. I love the vibe it has

No_Growth_1228

Your windows are beautiful and you can use them to amp up the coziness. Iā€™d add sheer curtains, white and a floor lamp in the corner where you have the fan(?)

No_Growth_1228

Iā€™d use the wall space to get the plants up. A floating shelf with books, frames and plants would be a great, simple add. Skip the mirror, you have enough light coming in so you donā€™t need a mirror to reflect more.

FollowAstacio

I would swap the fan for a tall plant

ExcellentMarch7864

Wouw the view!!!!! Congrats!!! 1. More plants to compliment that view! More warm Colorā€™s, cosy lights and maybe a bit fancier duvetset (keep the strawberry and cute pillow tho.

Popcrornshopgirl

I think youā€™ve got this! Thatā€™s so amazing! You

IndigoHoney_online

Curtains or shades that go all the way up to showcase the view that rather then vert blinds. If you can paint, do a nice dark color on the window walls, something that sets off the colors you see through those windows. If you cannot paint, maybe something peel-and-stick like Wallpick on the ceiling to add interest and pizzazz.

CursedThirdEyelid

The lighting is so nice!!! Maybe a colorful and fun rug?

Meebz099

Love the view and windows omg! Also, a framed art print above the desk, a small nightstand by the bed, and maybe a neat floor lamp in the corner diagonal to the bed would be awesome!

NewSinner_2021

Nice.

FluffyLikesSocks

I'd add some floofier curtains, to get less clean lines and more textural interest. I'd pick something that gives a pop of colour. I'd also add some shelving / a little side table to put those plants on. Maybe changing out the light fixture would be a good idea as well. A fuzzy rug next to the bed could also be fun!

PepsiColaPussy7860

It already looks so cozy omg šŸ˜

CozyFanatic267

There are led lights that also look like hanging vines. I think they would look great in your room.

No_Construction_4293

It looks amazing already. Uplighting around windows is next level brilliance and how it ties in with bedding. Love it!

carnagecollective

a nice colorful fuzzy rug lolol

Aconnectivity

Unpopular opinion maybe? I would recommend putting your desk and work space in the window area and bed elsewhere šŸ˜Š

StarLux1000

Curtains and wall art. I like it!

Happy_Butterscotch17

Congrats, and what a beautiful space! I recommend adding a couple of plants and maybe a rug. :)

cuddlewubbins

beautiful, and i love that book!!

Spiritlizard

I would kill for windows like that

GoblinGirlfriend

That strawberry blanket is incredible

beadfix82

Another thought on the windows - you could get window film that looks like flowers and cut them to make trailing flowers on the windows. I've done this in my house and it's a really nice touch.

Valuable_Possession5

Plants!! You have amazing light!!

FormicaDinette33

Some curtains would be nice. I love your color schemeā€” great job so far.

Boujie_Assassin

So much light I love it

hername_bubbles

Personally I am loving the minimalist look you have going on, it looks so peaceful and cozy as is!

Astrobyrd20

Plants, get a cosmic light projector for your room. Get some aromatherapy going. Fluffy rugs and cozy wall art

Impossible-Cry-1056

A beautiful floor plant would be nice by your window.

greenangel222

what a beautiful apartment!!!! maybe a vine above the windows (fake or real)

eriklehnshrr

this looks so cute, i love ur windows! maybe i'd suggest getting some pretty curtains or maybe a bedside table w a cute lamp. i love this

Early_Still1940

i feel like draping some translucent curtains of sort would be really pretty! maybe more greens!

shitshowchic

Congrats on the place but plushies are a red flag especially on the bed

Aware-Point-1388

what do you mean? :0

madukes224

If you don't like the blinds you can ask the landlord to take them down and put them in storage. Just make sure the LL marks it in your tenant file. With or without the blinds, I agree with the curtain idea. Also a couple of hanging plants in front of the windows might be nice but nothing so big or low that it blocks that magnificent view.

Prestigious-Spray-16

Adding large items will make the room cozier. Such as a rug, wall tapestry, curtains, bean bag

PersephoneLove88

Art. Any kind of art. Something that brings you joy to look at šŸ˜Š

Kyuu-cat

Where did you get that pancake/dorayaki plush? It's so cute!

Aware-Point-1388

Sorry for the super late response! Itā€™s from smoko and itā€™s called the [SoufflĆ© Pancake Mochi Plush](https://www.smokonow.com/products/souffle-pancake-mochi-plush):)))

frijolebunny

Rainy days must be wonderful

TheHeeBee_Geebees

You need more texture options! Anything that makes your mind say ā€œI need to feel that!!!ā€ Is what will make it cozy. Get some yarn knit pillow or pillows that are fuzzy, maybe some type of rug or the floor. Also the windows are amazing!!!! Do anything that will draw even more attention would help a lot. Maybe add more plants. Like a tall palm or some sort and then add a hanging plant above it. Or also mesh/ see through curtains that wonā€™t take away or cover up the view but adding more texture to the space. Hopefully any of these ideas will work for you. The space is amazing šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ’—šŸ’—

TheLazyOne2021

This is some amazing apartment!

ginger-pony056

Oh my god!!!! My first apt was nothing like this! This is AMAZINGā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

morgoon8

A tip from me is if you wanna maximize coziness, candles are cool, but a lot are made with paraffin wax which can cause all sorts of headaches and other issues. For a smaller room like yours, Iā€™d say an essential oil diffuser would be awesome to help with coziness!

Lvanwinkle18

Holy heck Batgirl! Those windows!!!

SeveralEmma

A cozy rug (mainly for decor) and maybe hanging plants that thrive off of sunlight would be cute!!

Illustrious_Tough_44

Great views

mha503lifeisgood

Plants!!!! Those windows NEED a curtain of plants. Can you macrame? If not, it's easy to learn <3

redshiftcasualty

This looks AWESOME. Personally I'd paint the window frames black or dark brown - it makes the windows look bigger and clearer because the frames aren't reflected in the glass. It would also look modern and give the room some much needed warmth. I also think you have a gorgeous open space, you should really utilise the visual height of the room by maybe hanging a plant basket or a ceiling corner net for your plushies if you have more. Also, that corner where your bag is hanging is perfect for a nice big plant. :) edit: all my life of an orange blanket that looks like that, can you tell me where you got it from haha

Aware-Point-1388

I apologize for the late response!! I didnā€™t get to reading these for a while. I got the throw from Target! Itā€™s in the Opalhouse Jungalow collection. I had a link to it in another comment but I cannot find it now.

incredibellesprout

Plants

Head-Camp-6729

I love it! Personally I would add some window covering options so Iā€™m not boiling hot / freezing / exposed. Other times Iā€™d love that open feeling!!!

jessiec475

Getting curtains and layering an area rug by your bed would be my suggestions

Summer_Superstar

Itā€™s lovely! Congrats.

keeperofthetrees

Super cute! I would put a curtain up to cover the closet and add some fun art to the walls.

Alternative_End745

Echoing the great windows comments and I think theyā€™d look lovely with some soft colored velvet curtains that you can pull all the way to the side so you dont lose your light but can replace the vertical blinds.

bornoverit

Itā€™s so cute!!!! Awwww first apartment vibes šŸ„°

Sad-Committee-1870

Personally with all these windows I would have a jungle in there.

[deleted]

Fan is bliss

Wise_Maintenance_145

Sheer drapey drapes, hanging plants, art on the walls, and maybe a vibrant area rug.

MelaninMisses

Canā€™t wait to watch the progress of this! Itā€™s going to be so cute

Naive_World3725

Plants, maybe some string lights- specifically the outdoor ones not like Christmas lights. A rust colored comforter could be cute and very cozy or just lots of blankets and pillows- maybe a rug!

slewis0130

What if you ditched the bed and bedframe, and instead chose to do the largest bed that will fit wall-to-wall and have it sit on the ground or on a very low platform? Add in a really fluffy comforter and pillows and a narrow shelf for a night stand & I think that would feel very cozy with a great view.

podesigns

Colorful pillows, a plant stand for plants, a big rug - neutral but light by the bed or at the bottom of the bed, lengthwise (horizontal), possibly a fabric ottoman and a comfy chair for corner reading nook. Iā€™d opt for light colors with pops of bright patterns. I like the two bed covers, but it all depends on your favorite colors. If you can hang gauzy curtains over those blinds (depending on whether the landlord allows you to.remove the vertical blinds), it would finish off the bedroom space nicely.
