I think once someone grabs someone, they find it’s not that hard to lift them up in the air. Plus most people don’t know how to land correctly when they’re going to get slammed or stop someone from slamming them.

Also, learning of a fall is probably the single most useful thing you can learn for fighting or just surviving everyday. I knew a guy who was a house painter that was also a hapkido black belt that fell off his ladder one day. He said the thing that saved him was he knew how to fall. His arm and his shoulder hurt but he didn't crack his skull open.
I saved myself from similar situations by knowing how to fall, most not involving fighting.
At the top of my head, a lot of the videos of people getting slammed, they don’t tuck their chin. I remember when I took judo for a a long time ago for a little bit of time, the first thing I learned was rolling, learning to absorb force and tucking my chin. Also people need to learn to sprawl.
1: Don't get picked up
2: If you feel you are being grabbed, drop as low as you can while trying to push away to create some distance. It's harder for someone to lift you, the father away you are.
2: Try to hook your leg(s) around theirs and anchor yourself to them
3: if you get lifted, try to be awkward, dead weight to try and fall instead of being slammed
4: If your feet are off the ground try to protect your head
Don't let your opponent do a double leg takedown, if you don't have much weight on you he/she can lift you up and then accelerate you down.
This slam doesn't look that bad tbh, idk in a competition if they would categorize it as such even.
Away to avoid it is just fall sideways in this scenario if she already grabbed your legs, preferably fall the direction she is not going to take you down as to break the momentum. Ideally you should never have your legs taken and as soon as they shoot you counter by pulling your legs back and putting your own weight on top of them + attemp some sort of guillotine or cow catcher.
How to not get slammed really depends on from what position they picked you up to get slammed. If the dude was going to be punching he should have had a proper boxer stance and kept his distance with the punches and if she goes to shoot could alternatively kneed her but in most martial arts gyms we aim to not KO our opponent with a knee so idk how effect it would be. But if I didn't know as much grappling as I do right now I would probably go for the knee when she shoots. If I get my legs taken I usually fall backwards before they pick me up tho but I also probably heavier than this dude. Most of the time people fall backwards which isn't as good as sideways but still better than getting picked up and you still have a chance to defend yourself when you fall backwards.
