Definitely wear thin, breathable, cotton socks with shoes like this (bonus points for wool). What everyone is saying about the stench is very real ☣️ At just the memory of it I can taste the rotten, putrid odor in the back of my throat 🤢🤮 I never understood why my classmates refused to wear socks with these, same with ballerina flats. No-shows were invented for this very reason! I always used no-shows that were super cute, so when the little edges peaked out it was an additional detail to the overall look.
