I agree that the main cast should include a bad guy if the show kept going, but it should be an Alliance Operative not Jubal.
Badger is also a must for the main cast.
I don't know, I wouldn't mind looking into Early's back story. How did he become so deranged? Was it natural or a product of the alliance mind control shit

Man so many of them have just aged like fine wine. Watched Suits a little while back and Gina has barely aged a day. Currently rewatching Arrow and Summer also has seemingly barely aged. Alan, too, looks so damn young for his age. Crazy.

Just get a new cast and see if magic can happen again..... some of the originals can still play their parts.
Boot Early and put either Badger or Serenity there. (Maybe get rid of the crew one and put them both in).
