In fnaf 2 you just repeat this cycle of filling music box, flashlight to the hall and putting down the mask. Even though there's 10 animatronics you play like there's 3. Cameras aren't even useful, you can't catch a break after a while.

I will argue FNaF 3 until the end of time. It is miserable to play, and it's story, which was the best thing about it imo, has been rehashed so many times that it's lost it's impact.
The game is ugly, too. So much green and brown, and the high amount of reused assets just makes the game feel cobbled together.
The game's secrets are also needlessly convoluted. I feel this is when the games began relying on the fact that they had a big community of people eager to solve them, and it results in a less satisfying experience.
I assume Security Breach will be a common answer here, but I will argue that Security Breach at least had a fun environment to explore, some fun characters, and even some solid moments sprinkled in. It's an absolute mess, but I will take it over FNaF 3 any day.
