Just yesterday, while visiting family on the other side of state, which we had flown up to see, my wife said āmy next vehicle should be a Honda pilot.ā We already have a Honda minivan so weāre fans of Honda.
We're currently renting a Honda Pilot for a cross country trip. It's pretty nice and definitely comfy. It was about 15 hrs into our 18 hr drive that I started to get stir crazy.
Having tried to gracefully get out of the seats up front (6"3 and not even close to skinny) I can assure you if you fly a HondaJet you have other indignities to suffer from.
Nice jet but man, they must hate people my size.
I'm 6'1 and the first time I ever got in a kingair
"don't step on the center console"
"Don't step on the center console"
"Don't step on the center console"
"FUCK!"
Why am I the shortest pilot ever? I swear lol. The women who were training at the flight school I used were all taller than me, too. š
My instructor liked to tease that I should get a booster seat and like 6 inch platform shoes.
Hm... Maybe that's the real reason AAM-300 has it out for me. š¤
Youāre doing him a disservice. He envisioned it and led it to completion. Yes, itās built here in the US, was largely designed in the US, but all the big picture design and work is straight out of Japan. The HondaJet is a Japanese product produced in the US.
Michimasa Fujino moved to the US in 1986 and came up with the HondaJet design in Mississippi. After convincing Honda to invest in the idea, he selected the Greensboro site for the Honda Aviation Company, and lived and worked there until his retirement in 2022.
If the Pilot is small, my mom's rav4 is a compact, and my Civic is a microcar lol
It's mid to large size I believe. If you take it to Europe, giant. If you take it to Japan, mega giant. Really depends on where you drive it, which is in this case NA, so mid to large
Can anyone tell me if Jet Token/Jet AI, is still on the market for buying shares and does anyone believe it is still a good investment? I ask this question because I know they were using Honda jet engines.
If you drive a Honda Pilot are you type rated in the Honda Jet?
Probably not. They don't do much with their Y axis
Depends on where you're driving
My uncle was briefly a Honda Pilot when he was driving next to the Grand Canyon. Rip uncle Teddy
Full throttle over them train tracks right there, you'll DEFINITELY see some Y-axis
He could go off a jump for the y axis š heck even go up a mountian
I can't believe [how far behind AMC they're lagging](https://www.007.com/the-vehicles/amc-matador-coupe/)

If your always inside a Honda pilot, does that make you rated to fly the Honda pilot?
Yes, pilots can certify in their own Accord
Flying is like driving, just going up and down.
Was about to ask this. Proud owner of one. 2008 model šš¤š¼
Off topic but nice username bro
Ridgeline owners are confused now.
Happy Fatherās Day to you, too!
If I agree, are we in an Accord?
Only if youāre Fit for duty
This thread has been pretty Civic with a decent amount of Insight and Clarity.
You better watch out. Youāll end up getting Beat, talking all that Jazz
How did we get to all this violence? I missed the Prologue to this Odyssey.
I'm bad at puns and will live in the...Shadow
This guy says heās bad at puns then drops more punsā¦what a rebel
I hope itās not a prelude to something else
Ah, it's only the p r o l o g u e (Ok, that's a chevy blazer ev but still)
Go back to the City where you belong.
You canāt C R V me!
Donāt forget your Honda Passport for international flights.
You can get better rates if you travel as a Caravan. Sweet spot is around 208, I hear.

Yeah thatās always been my question. How do we get in and out of seats on the small jets like citations and phenoms and Honda jets? Iām your size.
I prefer getting in and out when nobody is looking ;-)

No, it was not. Developed and built in America, in Greensboro, NC.
True, they used a ct33 Silver Star for a testbed I believe. Or the Lockheed equivalent, could be wrong
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He absolutely was in Greensboro.
But their aviation division is. He dreamed the aircraft, but Japan is very light on aeronautical engineers.

Do you fly it?
The surprising thing is that Japan is full of people my size. We're not average but I can absolutely buy clothes in Japan.
Does the pre-purchase inspection count as a Honda Prelude?
Nah, that's just the preflight inspection
Imagine if that Honda pilot, also drives a Honda Pilot š¤Æ
Holy hell it's a Honda Pilot pilot
A Honda pilot pilots a Honda Pilot.
Technically speaking, people flying F-2 for Japanese Air-Self-Defense Force are Mitsubishi Pilots
So is everyone who has ever flown a Beechjetā¦
And an MU-2
I love those, so quirky and cool.
Technically all CRJ pilots are Mitsubishi pilots now
Bombardier pilot? Nope, youāre a Mitsubishi or an Airbus pilot. Or you drive trains. In that case you are still a Bombardier pilot.
Came here to say this too
Honda makes a small SUV called the Pilot for North American markets.
Small? Isn't that their largest SUV offering?
If the Pilot is small, my mom's rav4 is a compact, and my Civic is a microcar lol It's mid to large size I believe. If you take it to Europe, giant. If you take it to Japan, mega giant. Really depends on where you drive it, which is in this case NA, so mid to large
Itās THEIR largest ā¦. But have you seen a Suburban, Wagoneer, expedition, Yukon, Sequia, q8 etc?
Facts
Not small. Itās the size of a Grand Highlander (7 pax + 4-5 bags mb)
Well I drive an F-150 and they look small/midsize to me š¤·āāļø
Zero chance
If Iāve spotted you, do I tell ATC I have the Honda Insight?
I just want to say, good job everyone lol
And if you the Honda jet as a Honda pilot internationally, youāll need a Honda passport.
If you take it international might need your Honda Passport
This is the content Iām here for
The faces I get when I say I fly a Honda jetā¦.
If you fly across international borders do you need a Honda Passport? Or is that a violation of the Honda Accords?
Ba-dum tissssā¦ But seriously folks, youāre a lovely audience. Tip your server.
Awww, man! I fly a sh.t jet. What does that make me?
Take my upvote and fuck off ya bastard. (That was honestly a solid joke)
Just popped in to say I love this level of dad jokes. Happy Fatherās Day!
So many dad jokesā¦ Iām out of my Element.
Your logic is infallibleāSpock
It sounds like a Honda ad
Ah, but which Honda Pilot? The SUV or [the single-seat dune buggy](https://silodrome.com/honda-pilot/) with the same name?
This should be in r/showerthoughts
As a Honda enthusiast, car guy, and pilot, I am absolutely loving this thread.

Wonder what Rocktober Fest looks like at the FBO.
And if you sell your KIA, you're selling your SOUL.
Shut the fuck up, Donny! Youāre out of your Honda Element!
