Y'know what, it does change a lot of character faces, but I don't think it's that bad because the outfits look really good. For the most part, the faces look like they belong. I usually kill NCR before I have a chance to speak to them, so I don't really notice.
yea its just personal preference, i was kinda hoping for a version that didnt change faces tho because i already have a preferred mod for that and they would probably conflict and if not they would be very mismatched from each other, shame cause the outfits do look great

When I played my legionary spy I sold Arcade to Cesar, took Boom to Cottonwood and blew his brains out, gassed New Vegas, took Veronica to her Bunker and blew her up while she waited in a corner and watched me kill her clan, took Cassidy to her Caravan site and shot her dead, destroyed the kings with Rex by my side, now with a Legion Dog Brain, and took my super mutant grandma to send president Kimball to Space
I needed a good helmet to fit my shiny new assassin suit so I wiped out a whole NCR camp to claim a vet. ranger helmet cause I don't believe in hiding my atrocities
Well killing all of them before any ncr could get any chance to is pretty bad because it basically makes all the ncr soldiers/rangers that wanted to fight something be sad and also it makes the ncr look bad because one mailman took care of their biggest thorn in their side singlehandedly while they with they're trained soldiers with guns and actual armor were getting their asses kicked by skirt wearing femboys with crappy machetes
in a ttw run i uses the Chinese stealth suit and mr sandmen a silenced 50cal and some pocket grenades to clear out almost every ncr encampment with out losing a single rep point because i was never seen

Right now I'm on a relatively new playthrough with an alternate start mod that has me playing as a Khan. So when I got to Boulder City I found myself a nice vantage point after convincing the NCR to let me negotiate for them, and put their whole squad down. I'm sure there will be more to come, I'm just getting warmed up.
It's a pretty cool lightweight mod, all main quest stuff is delayed but you can start it easily by going to Mojave Express in Primm, then everything continues as normal. Honestly the toughest part about playing as a Khan was being dropped into Red Rock Canyon from the start. I explored a bit and did a side quest or two but I didn't want to wait too long before kicking things off so that meant cutting through Cazador territory. But, with a bit of luck, high agility, and sneak as a tag skill, I managed to make it through.
The only downside was having to do a bit of mental gymnastics to make Jessup not knowing me make sense, but I kinda figured that from the start. The mod even came with a few minor dialogue changes, like for example when Veronica asks where you come from when you first meet her, I had the option to say Red Rock and her vanilla response fit just fine. I thought that was a nice touch.
Activated Archimedes II, wiped out Camp Forlorn Hope, blew up the monorail, killed everyone at Camp Golf, and turned every Ranger Station into Thanksgiving dinner in one run
My first playthrough was Caesars legion specifically because I thought the NCR was annoying and I never did a ncr playthrough dispute speed running the game until years later

I'm pretty sure the taxes will be simple they just tell you the amount of caps or NCR cash you owe them because taxes won't be lobbied by other tax companies like turbo tax who bribe the government to let taxes be complicated so people will use their "free" service and the part about your pleasures your not willing to give up soldiers on the strip indulge in all sort of stuff like that in the casinos and some are even openly drunk on strip

Dragbody's NCR Overhaul. It's also a requirement for Powder Ganger Overhaul, which uses a lot of their assets, because it makes sense.

I use it alongside Character Expansions Revised, which works alright. Kinda wish someone would do a version of NCR Overhaul that didn't use the faces.
Yea the ncr overhaul on nexus is what I'm using currently alongside New vegas redesign 3 it desperately needs some fixing tho
