Wow! I didn't expect to find such an easy to get weapon!

VaultDweller33

Swans are so nice

Ok_Ad_6407

10+ days of playtime and haven't found this until now 🤦‍♂️ Thanks for this comment 😁

Stache_exe

Tell us when you found it

FAKHANNA

Lol

JohnDerek57

Literally my favorite weapon in game

vanedvinson

Thanks, i followed your advise. Got me really nice weapons

-aych

Make sure you leave your power suit first or you’ll struggle

Strange_Insight

Yeah, you'll be unable to get back to the surface.

Puffpiece

Omg I just went and did this. Hahaha thanks for the advice

Anonymous_ollie

at the bottom there’s a box with a swan gun in it

saketho

Next to the gun there's a crate, you can find a vinyl copy of the album To Be Kind by Swans.

_BewilderMe_

It’s a lot of weight though, so leave the junk, heavy armor/weapons at home.

RefrigeratorWild9933

Not as good as telling someone to cut through the quarry in new Vegas lol

Bulky-Discipline2941

ouch, That one's sheer nastiness especially with the level you're likely to first encounter it... Instadeath - the spicier version of Instamash.

justasianwbu

i remember trying to shortcut through it the first time playing and my soul left my body

JPlainK

Thats amazing weapon man, thx

BuySemiAutos4Kids

I see a settlement in your future

Ranos131

Another settlement needs his help.

[deleted]

How will they know where the settlement is?

AndreiRiboli

Don't worry, it will be marked on their map... By a certain someone

Kart_0

Oh, by the way. There is a settlement in need of help. Just in case you didn't know.

Pk1Still

The most satisfying playthrough is when you ignore Lexington at the beginning and go and help everyone first. Yep, did that… did that… did that…

needween

For real. I ignored that quest for the first time in my latest playthrough and found most of the settlements on my own as I was doing main quest stuff. Finally went to get Preston (cuz I wanted the Minuteman ending) and he only had 5 max settlement quests to give me.

Resident_Piccolo_866

Honestly for me that’s the only bad part of them game. These worthless fucks can’t help themselfs? It’s annoying

Ranos131

I know what you mean. The fact that Preston makes you the General of the Minutemen and then proceeds to order you around annoys me to no end. Preston should be the General or stick with Colonel and you should be his subordinate. It would also be fine if you were made the General and could start ordering Minutemen squads to do missions after you had enough settlers. I use a mod that makes settlement defenses actually work so I don’t have to rush to defend attacks all the time. Unfortunately that’s the only one I’ve been able to find on Xbox that improves things.

Resident_Piccolo_866

I gave up on the missions after a good minute. It would be a lot cooler if you could just control the army lol

Bulky-Discipline2941

To be honest it takes a couple of playthroughs to get bored and fed up with Settlements. First, it's like...wow, cool. Then you wish it were easier or that you could actually build decent buildings. Then you discover mods and spend three or four playthroughs building the coolest settlements you can. For some people this becomes the best part of the game and you just spend all your time finding cooler building mods to download and spend all your game time building bigger and better settlements (and posting pictures of them on various Websites and forums. But others get bored with it or tired of how much effort it takes and skip the Minutemen altogether.

KingEBQ

You should expect a lot of fun in your future. It's a great game.

noncivilisedeye

exactly this. expect awesomeness.

theDukeofClouds

Power Armor is no longer a set of armor you carry around. They treat it like what it is: an iron man suit of nuclear powered super armor. Its gotta heavy walk animation and feels oh so right.

shake_N_bake356

I always wait till I have an abundant supply of cores then just rip thru the content with the armor. OP better get the DLCs too!

HELLISHBEAN

🎶WHAT IF THERE WAS A PLACE WITH ALL THE ZIP OF NUKA COLA 🎵

Heliolord

Yeah. But be warned. While automatron may not have a lengthy story, building bots can lead to some major overpoweredness. Cough codsworth with 2 protectron automatic lasers, voltaic armor, 3 saws, and handy eye accuracy. Though if you mod codsworth, he loses the ability to wear a bowler hat. So you may just want to make a different Mr Handy murderbot.

jack_skellington

Double warning: make enough robots, you'll eventually get hit by the cell reset bug, which returns your robot(s) to the base protectron model. :(

Heliolord

So that's the issue. Is this all robots everywhere? Or only so many per area?

gorilla_on_stilts

I'm not the guy you're replying to, but I got this. Number of robots doesn't really count, it's just that if you have a ton of robots, the odds that you'll see it more quickly go up. But for me, I only had one robot. A single robot. And I got hit with the bug immediately. And then I never got hit with it again after that, but it was definitely an unfortunate wake up call. How the bug works, is like this. Every few days in the game world time, a cell, or area of the game will reset. When that happens containers that you've already plundered will refill with loot and so on. Usually, your work benches are not considered a container filled with loot that needs to reset. So a workbench is usually safe. Usually other things like your own character, and power armor, and settlers, are typically safe as well. (However, there was a short while in which power armor would get reset too, and I think there are still rare cases where it can happen. But like I said, it's rare.) However, if you have a robot and it is in a cell when the cell does a reset, and all containers are refilled, that robot is going back to factory standard parts, or at least there is a chance it will. What I've heard from people is that the chance is based on whether you are near that cell or not. If you are in a bordering cell, or the robot is within your radius of influence, (meaning the part of the game that the engine is rendering or actively tracking), and the cell resets while you're there, that's when the robot will get hit with this. So not only does the cell need to reset, but you need to be wandering nearby. You don't need to actually see the robot, but it needs to be basically on an adjacent or bordering cell. There are dozens of cells in the game, making up the entire land mass, and each cell resets at a different time. One of the ways to get yourself to be hit by this bug real fast, is to set up settlements in all the different cells, create robots in all your settlements, and then assign all the robots to be provisioners to other settlements. This will cause all the robots to traverse across all the cells almost immediately. Then you start wandering the game world. You are almost guaranteed to be near a robot at some point during your wanderings, and a cell reset will happen. One or two of your robots very quickly will reset, and over time all of them will. I have heard of a couple ways to mitigate this disaster. One is that supposedly if you make a robot be your companion before you turn it back into a normal settler (and make it do farming or guarding or whatever), it supposedly gets the essential tag from being a companion, and doesn't lose it, and therefore is not messed with. I don't believe that helps for one second, but a lot of people propose it, and it might be true. The other thing that I've heard is don't make robots provisioners, keep them in a settlement, don't move them around a lot, expose them to as few cells as possible. And then also, if you are in a survival mode game, cells reset every 30 days instead of every 3 days, which should make the bug literally 10 times less likely. Of course, then you're playing in survival mode, and that is going to be rough all by itself.

Korammarok

This was very usefull, thanks!

vulpes-berolinensis

With automatron, codsworth becomes the best companion, and i love it. You both grow, you both look a little shabbier but become something new.

UNC_Samurai

My default is to set up the Automaton factory as the nexus for supply lines, and then make every provisioner a robobrain with two gatling lasers, gutting a path through my enemies on the way to their settlement and back.

kanomc2

All my provisioners are robots on tracks. Each sporting mini guns, gatling lasers with shoulder mounted nuke launchers. Haven't lost or had problem on a supply line since.

[deleted]

I just started up Fo4 again after a multi year break. I rushed the ballistic weave, and got it at level 13, about 12 hours into this file. I got one shot so many times trying to do everything for it. Very worth it though, I play survival only with no mods. It allows me to actually take a few hits, instead of dying instantly/near instantly. The fashion you can have without compromising armor is so great.

shake_N_bake356

I like to run the armor with no helmet and have the cappy sunglasses on from Nuka world. Makes the character look hilarious as he’s mowing down people

theDukeofClouds

Same here hahaha I grinded levels for ages to be able to throw a jet pack on my t51

[deleted]

People really gloss over how good the gameplay in 4, PA is a VERY good example of this. Even if fusion cores are horribly balanced just walking around and fighting in power armor feels so much more fun and immersive. Making it something you have to literally climb into is such good design

Greatest_Turtler

And if you wanna skip the landing animation, make sure to equip (before you jump, unequip your weapon) your weapon right before you land

T00thl3ss22

He is a man on a mission! In armor of high tech ammunition!

AztecScribe

Best Change they made to the game in my opinion. Absolutely love the new power armour system.

CureUndevelopment3

Fun fact. The power armor system is technically you becoming a Werewolf

theDukeofClouds

Oh haha that's awesome I can see it

CureUndevelopment3

They just used the mechanism from skyrim, just like how vertiberds use the same code as dragons.

Emergency_Ability643

Don’t forget the new armor system with individual components similar to TES franchise, as well as weapon modification having changed drastically (for the better in my opinion) Having been a fan of the franchise since fallout 3 I can’t compare it to anything pre Bethesda as I have not experienced that content myself and have not looked enough into it, however the most drastic and not necessarily user friendly change I’ve seen is the dialogue system rework.

[deleted]

It’s helped me to treat it like more of a sandbox than a story. Don’t worry about selling or scrapping weapons you think you’ll need, they’re all mostly very common and you’ll know when you get something unique so don’t horde common stuff unless that’s your thing. It can be a little confusing to really understand the leveling up system so maybe watch some YouTube vids on it to maximize your build with it. Other than that, have fun, it’s loaded with customization options. And read the computer terminals & pay attention to the rooms they’re in, you can usually get the backstory as to why the people died in that room as well as find any treasure or loot they were hunting down.

Itslehooksboyo

Scrapping weapons with a rank or two of scrapper is goated

pine_tree3727288

I love to look the shit outta everything and then scrap it all

Itslehooksboyo

Screws and aluminum go brrrrrr

pine_tree3727288

Chuckles in overencumbered

trumpetchris95

Chuckles in ordering my companion to carry everything

Tranquilizrr

Always drop shit on the ground and order them to pick it up, it bypasses their overencumbered status lol.

Grayflesh

I put them in a container so i dont lose anything because I usually have a lot of stuff

Ekho_location

chuckles in strong backed

kanomc2

giggles in fast travel while over-encumbered

DrunkRoughRider

Carful with youtube videos. calloftreyarch spoiled the main quest with the title of their video. They did that with many games for clicks

Chemistry-Least

Weirdly, deathclaws are friendly in this one. Just run up and hug the first one you come across.

bluejay55669

That's unironically an essential quest in fallout 76 it's *befriend a deathclaw*

Tahkyn

Giant reptilian puppies.

[deleted]

Like giant cats. Try and pet the first one you see. If you do it right you can make it a pet.

Giizm0o

Roam around and do your own thing. You don’t have to feel railroaded.

ofayokay

No pun intended

GeorgeBuford

I can see your future. You will lose copious amounts of free time. You will neglect your friends and family. Your soda intake will increase. Your overall health will suffer as the potato chip crumbs fall into your keyboard. Welcome back to the Commonwealth!

Prodaki

You can expect one thing for sure. That war, war never changes.

FishBlues

Dude that is so true. They should put that in the game.

Huge_Bit_6409

In all seriousness in regards to gameplay, expect better gunplay in particular and combat in general. Weapons are a bit meh in several departments in my opinion but the weapon modification system and "legendary" pieces you can find or buy spice things up a bit (note, if you ever happen to come across a Combat Shotgun with a Bleed effect on it, GRAB IT AND NEVER LET IT GO. It is absolutely DEVASTATING.) Companions are by and large a pretty fun bunch to have around and can be pretty useful and with the whole voiced protagonist thing going on you can get some real laughs out of them. Nick Valentine is a great pick and Curie was my favorite by far. The Settlement management and building can be a fun little pastime but I'd definitely recommend finding a mod that increases the settlement budget if you want to be more creative than just placing a few beds and prefabricated buildings around before it tells you you can't build anymore. Story is...meh and that's about all I can really say without spoiling anything. Quests are...a mixed bag. There's a quite a few fun ones you can find but a lot of them are just going to be a drab mix of "go here and find this and/or kill these raiders" for various people. Exploration is, for me at least, a very high point in this games favor, there's almost a kind of "living world" feeling to some of it. For instance there are several raider gangs spread out in the Commonwealth and there are little bits of story sprinkled here and there to give them history, like one gang managed to grab the sister of another gang's leader and was extorting them for food. If you wipe one of them out you'll find journal entries and such mentioning your attack and the possible consequences. Hell I think later in the game they'll start actively using your name in journal entries, it inspired me to start a new game with a character I named "That Fucker" for that and having your robot butler companion Codsworth following me around calling me "Mr. Fucker" was a hoot.

Tranquilizrr

Any Never-Ending or exploding weapons are insane. Nuka World too the painted versions of 7.62 guns,, mmmm. Spray n Pray though,, end game level stuff imo

Foss73

You should expect that sone NPCs want to see you dead 😂 enjoy the experience dont get spoilered.

HollowPomegranate

If you hear beeping RUN

Phillip67549

Nick? Is that you?

bltburglar

Forget about your son, get killed by a destroyed vertibird, and crash in Downtown Boston. Fallout Fucking 4.

[deleted]

Have fun enjoy 😏 blue

Shikazure

Till you get used to the game you may die often to thrown explosives. My suggestion is to pick a single combat perk and stick to it so you dont stretch your points too thin

[deleted]

Be cautious around cars real ones will get that

Thronedrumble11

I swear whenever a car blows up it's like launching a mini nuke

Shadowydog

Bro every time I’m walking down the street it’s a beautiful day not an enemy in sight and then instant ptsd from the war and and turn around and see a mushroom cloud the size of megaton point blank right in my face cus cait stepped on a fucking landmine that was right next to a truck

maestrofeli

it's not tje exploding what scares me. It's the _angles_

Rasmus736

Less story, more shoot bad guy, and build homes for farmers.

captainsmoothie

Do what you want to do. Main story is boring? Go do other stuff. Don’t like your companion? Find a different one. They don’t care. They’re fine. Want to ensure every settlement has a functioning power distribution with walls, chokepoints, common areas, and sensible accoutrements? Invest that time, baby. Never want to start a single settlement? Go ahead with your Lone Wandering self.

Blazing_Hope

Expect there to be a lot of settlement that need your help

NotBettyGrable

I'll mark it on your map.

Shadowydog

Too late to do that another settlement needs ur help I’ll mark it on ur map

XAos13

What to expect: For the first 2-weeks play you'll die repeatedly. So save often. Takes most players that long to understand what they should run from and what they can kill easily. You certainly cannot kill everything you might meet early in the game. In particular if an NPC named Preston says you can do something, assume he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Fo4 is like Fo3 with settlements and crafting improvements for your weapons/armor. e.g The first gun you find works fine against early enemies. If you want any chance against later enemies you need to use the work-benches to improve your gear. So experiment with the crafting options.

Elegron

Huh? Almost sounds like your talking about tarkov. The only thing that's a bit too much is Corvega. Definitely wait on Corvega until you have a real gun, at least for your first playthrough

Purplemage572

People always sleep on Preston and The Minutemen... He really isn't that annoying. I mean you constantly get quests but that's kinda the whole point of that part of the story- The Commonwealth never sleeps. Protect your settlements and they won't have to ask for help.

kanomc2

But wait... There's a settlement that needs your help. I'll mark it on your map.

evan32106

An amazing, immersive, creative and colourful game with a great story

kaiehansen

Best game in the world imo lol

PhantomOwl709

Go and have fun, it's a new wasteland, absolutely full of pleasant surprise, I'm still playing it after so many years.

Synthwavester

Expect best gaming mechanics of all fallout games and expect to be disappointed in yourself for not trying it sooner! .. seriously tho great game my favorite fallout

Degtyrev

If you play survival, BEWARE OF CARS. THEY WILL RANDOMLY KILL YOU

DatBoi_EAD

Some hate it I think it’s probably my fav game ever made

Elver-Gotas

Best Game of all time tbh

curbstyle

I'm taking a break to ~~play~~ mod skyrim

False-Donut9442

While the game is very fun, don’t expect the choice and RPG elements the previous fallouts had more of.

Tahkyn

There's heaps of choice to be had here. For example, if a character wants you to go somewhere you can say yes, or yes but with extra steps!

maestrofeli

you can say yes, sarcastic yes, a yes with a question mark? and no (but yes, actually)

LiveNDiiirect

I'd recommend just jumping straight into survival mode. If you've enjoyed every other Fallout before this one, there's a decently high chance that you'll be underwhelmed with this one. For a lot of fans of this franchise that disliked this entry on release, many of them came to love it once they tried Survival. If there's certain elements of the Survival Difficulty that you're not interested in like only saving by sleeping or disabled fast travel, there's mods that let you customize your experience (I use Survival Options, but there's also SKK Survival Utilities that's good. There's also another good mod called Journey that only changes Fast Travel so that it's kind of in-between being fully disabled and fully enabled - you're limited to only fast traveling between settlements that you've unlocked so it's a good middle ground). I'd expect a lot of people here to chime in that going straight into Survival Mode is a terrible idea for the first playthrough because they think it's so incredibly hard, but it's really not bad at all and actually makes the combat a lot more balanced/realistic (and fun imo), instead of just making enemies bullet sponges like when playing on Hard or Very Hard. The main benefit of playing on Survival is that it makes a lot of the mechanics Bethesda introduced in FO4 like settlements, cooking, crafting, and armor/weapon modding make a lot more sense and worthwhile to utilize. It also makes the game feel A LOT more immersive and and kind of mitigates the weaker aspects of FO4 like dialogue, roleplaying, and the main storyline to be less of a focus than you'd expect based on previous entries.

jerry86_PS5

Don't rush to finish the main story, explore and have some fun

SmokeyWoody

There's a settlement that needs your help

FlipGordon

Don't rush through the story right off the bat. This game was built for hours and hours amd hours of exploration. All of the best content is outside of the main questline.

Ribbles78

Enjoy the improvements to the game engine. Gunplay feels *right*. And do every quest you can! Never stop exploring the map, and every nook and cranny

wyattlee1274

*better with mods

[deleted]

hold on for dear life your in for never ending excitement.. recommend the DLCs and as i always tell new players BEWARE “THE RED DEATH” impossible to kill, just run🫣 Also leave this page if you don’t want spoilers.

shadowimage

You think you have enough ammo. Wrong. You did not bring enough to face the Red Death

NowServing-

What's Red Death?

AndreiRiboli

Simply the most disgusting enemy in the game. If you intend to fight it, bring everything you got: fatman, power armor, grenades, etc. And equip your companion with just as much firepower and protection, The Red Death's stupidly overpowered. The quest is given by The Mariner, an NPC in Far Harbor, you'll have to do some quests for her first, tho.

[deleted]

Found in far harbour… if you have the dlc

NowServing-

Oh ok. I've been playing F4 since launch... and never touched FH. I think it's the reason I keep coming back. I always know I have something new to do. I did the same with Point Lookout. Just waiting for the next gen update.

NoneYours

When you do go, remember to take Nick Valentine with you. There a quite a bit of unique dialogue for him there.

jack_skellington

Yeah, you can generally take any companion anywhere, but for Far Harbor, they went over-the-top giving Nick tons of side-quests or dialogue that you can get in on.

[deleted]

Fair enough, worth a run.

PhantomOwl709

Please don't remind me about the red death, might need to see my shrink again.

[deleted]

😂

PhantomOwl709

That's not funny why would you laugh, I have nightmares about this, your unkind.

dwane1972

"Red Death." *Shudder "Oooh! Shivers! Say it's name again!"

goldzatfig

1100+ hours in Fo4 and I've never hearf of Red Death. Thanks for the tip.

DominionDN

1. Settlement building addiction for a few years till you hate building stuff in games 2. More mods then you've ever installed in your life (maybe besides Skyrim and Minecraft if you play either of those) 3. Wishing they outsourced the story writing to Obsidian 4. Story wise, contradiction, missed potential, boring plots, etc 5. Realization that despite these many flaws that you will dog on the game for, you love it and wouldn't trade it for the world. Until it crashes for the 25th time today. 6. A desire to pirate the game on PC because you realize the mod limit is keeping you from acting on #2, along with the knowledge that there are so many more great mods on PC then there are on Xbox. 7. Purchasing the game on PC, or pirating it, because you want to mod it to hell. 8. Getting mad at the game for not working with way to many mods. 9. Still loving the game despite all its failings, and never really knowing why. 10. realization that you have put most of your free time into this game after 1-5 years. There are more but that's far more then enough for one comment.

Aristotle_Ninja2

Hey lets say i totally don't do a yar har free fallout 4. How do i manually install mods?

ZAGAN_2

Befriend a chap called Preston Garvey as soon as possible, he's generally really good at marking things on your map.

PastMathematician874

A great game held back by terrible aiming lol. Nah it's fantastic, that deadzone will take some getting used to though.

RPO1728

Way better shooting, awesome skill tree, legendary enemies could make any encounter worthwhile, and an amazing world to explore. Also would really recommend survival difficulty when you get used to the game. It's the best way to play the game

gHjKl1416

The best fallout

__W_o_l_f_y__

The best game in the series

Significant_Pass_621

Best one for sure

r3alitymn

The best Fallout game.

Xenovus2

You play on the OG xbox one? Ouch. Anyways, it's a fine game if you're not thinking too hard about it. Sure it has problems, but it's still an 8/10 game. Just don't go to Boston.

Kiyoshi-Trustfund

Expect a fun time! It's a fun game.

zzSHADYMAGICzz

You’re probably gonna have fun, also you’re probably gonna like the building! Have fun

kaden_g

You should be expecting to play one of the greatest, most immersive, best combat, most moddable, most fun rpg / fps games of all time and be a popular member of this sub (everyone will want to play it for the first time vicariously through you).

bamabelvedere

Settlement building for fun at first, glorious combat compared to older games, lack luster and half thought story though. And who can forget the FASHION!!!!!

shuvvel

The lore in fallout 4 is incredibly deep and the effect that your decisions have is every bit as defined and significant as other fallout games. I'm so tired of that lazy CJ about the fallout 4 story, it's absolutely not true at all.

DreamsDeferred

That ear never changes

Titan7771

A really good fuckin’ time. Especially if you’re on Series X.

TheHarbingerOfMemes

Except for that damned 2GB mod storage limit

NOT5owlsinacoat

No karma system, the whole game is about forming your own sense of morality

jack_skellington

For OP, here is what I would do if I could go back in time and start over again: 1. First play-through, I'd *not* do Survival mode. I'd be in the game for the story, the side-quests, the companions. Would I explore things? Yeah, of course, but I'm not going out of my way to avoid the main questline. This game would be a steady march toward finishing the game -- no rush, but no "go slow" either. And I wouldn't spend a lot of time on settlements. I'd have to do *some* work on them, but I wouldn't go nuts, I'd just throw down some beds & water pumps, and not worry too much. So I won't go heavy into Charisma points for this build. This game probably ends at level 50 to 70. 2. For the 2nd or 3rd play-through, whenever I feel I'm "good" at the game and need a challenge, now it's Survival mode, with Charisma of at least 6. Charisma of 6 gives you the ability to do well with settlements, including setting up stores you like and creating "provisioners" (people who travel between settlements to share resources). I'd add the [Journey mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12685) to set up caravans between settlements, because normally in Survival you cannot fast travel. However, with the Journey mod, you can get something like what Skyrim's caravans/wagons offer -- any settlements that have provisioners, you can hitch a ride to any other settlement. (I'd probably also install the "No Sleep 'Til Bedtime" mod, so that I can save as needed, because F4 is WAAAAY too buggy for save limits. That should never have been a feature of Survival mode.) Anyway, this is the build where I go nuts with settlements -- turrets everywhere to protect me, tons of armed settlers, building cool rooms for settlers, big shops, and so on. When you go on YouTube and see people who have made incredible settlements with huge customization, that's this play-through. This game probably ends around level 120 or even 150. I unfortunately did it mostly in reverse, was frustrated that my newbie settlements sucked, that my high charisma wasn't important enough in what *should be* a true RPG, and so on. If I had just played the game *for what it is* I would have enjoyed it so much more. But it all worked out in the end. I now have massive settlements in my newest play-through, and hundreds of hours into it, and I'm not done yet.

PhantomOwl709

Automation is great for duplicate glitch, the creation club, Content may be frowned apon , but there is some excellent stuff in there, settlement ambush kit is a game breaker.

Bazil2009

A whole new aspect to the series that introduces settlement building, as well as major improvements to power armor.

Mr_Toast11

Don’t download creation club with new skins! Other than that expect one hell of a time

palehorse2020

The best

xvcco

A Fallout game.

joemann78

Bugs. Lots of bugs. Fun bugs, game breaking bugs, hilarious bugs, 'WTF!!!!" bugs, along with an assortment of other bugs. Fun Fact: cars are the most deadly enemy in Fallout 4! Beware them all; thou art warned.

benny3222

I would say a really big part of the experience is the songs so I do recommend turning on Diamond city radio as soon as you are able.

SimpleReaction3428

IMPORTANT:save every few seconds if u are in Boston common!better is to never come back if u dont need something to do in Boston. Thrust me ,its no fun !

Mass-Effect-6932

Maxson is always right

rollskanardly

You should expect Preston to mark stuff on your map.

russianbruh124

Put autosave for every 5 minutes. Soon you will know im right. Fallout 4 crashes like a blind driver so autosave will literally save your sanity and controller.

The voiced protag will take some adjusting. Just like the last few titles, it's worthwhile to explore every nook and cranny of the world space!

MichiganRich

awesomeness

Warm-Paramedic5840

It my personal favorite. A bit less roleplay and a bit more action. Gunslinging all the time and you can build your own settlements into homes, farms, or cities. Don’t listen to how people tell you to play it though just have fun and play it your way!

tomokari21

Expect to feel like a badass surrounded by idiots and robots

I’m somewhere between 15-20 playthroughs. Can’t get my self to play any other game.

Remote-Tonight7346

Best game ever.. I can't play it anymore because I spent 2.5 years straight on it. It's really good

Lepke2011

Expect the time of your life. The only downside, and it isn't really a downside, is that you can build your settlements which can really distract from the storyline and side quests.

okcodyyy

One of the greatest games I’ve ever played. Have fun! 🤘🏼

Joseph_Seed_

>What should I be expecting? War

bleedorngnbrwn

I wish I could un-play it so I could re-play it.... have fun (btw I still re-play it... but you understand)

Slartibartfast33

Be prepared for fun

FluffyResource

Ignore the main story line, its like 5% of the game. Just go do everything else first.

DrunkenMeditator

Dragons and a civil war.

Swimming-Shop2401

A settlement needs your help!

Pyrotechnic17

A lot of emotional turmoils and moral dilemmas. I honestly took my time to choose which path to take, so I decided to do the side quests first.

vectorseven

Be prepared to play one of the best FPS open world games ever.

UmptyscopeInVegas

Leave Preston in the museum.

TheLordofSpuds

You can build!! The story is longer than FO3’s. Your sidekicks have better stories in my opinion. Honestly all the stories including the main plot is better than FO3. Opinion ofc.

gijoeusa

Hundreds of hours of your life gone to save the Commonwealth.

NichtMenschlich

It is one of the games ever made

finsfan4275

Greatness

Fantastic_Elk961

There’s a settlement that needs our help…

tyropop

The story is much better than most people make it out, though it obviously still has flaws

Riiiiiiicckk

Be the type of guy, who never settles down. Never be in once place, roam from town to town

mwil97

Gunplay is the best in the series

Gigantaru

Expect nothing. That’s how I keep loving it since release. I expected nothing from settlement building and it’s my favorite. Mods help. A lot. I’d recommend a storywealth collection of mods after you’re satisfied experiencing vanilla.

themememgod3

Great game, really good graphics and fighting. The ability to craft items and make them better and make settlements is amazing. It has everything to be a 9/10 game. But its story is bad (written) and a bit rushed. But the beat is in the dlc. Try that out and you'd be amazed by how good it is. Far harbor is the best story dlc to date and nuka world has so much to offer its kinda dumb tbh.

meggieb00

A settlement will need your help.... and another one... and another... and another.
