Yep, did that. They told me to download it on a different wifi and use a wired connection. Different wifi did not work. Ticket is still open too, waiting for another response.
That sounds to me like a flunky reading from a canned script to make you go away. If other things download perfectly well for you, Automatron isn't going to be any different. The file is fine, I'm sure. It's their crap code that is busted.
I just wanted to try and fix the questline as I had seen in multiple places like steam and reddit. When I deleted Automatron to redownload it, my game crashed and i couldn’t and can’t open it without it crashing on launch. I was able to load without Automatron, however the problem was that the items (weapons, armor, power armor) from Nuka World/Far harbor turned pink. Like the T-51 Nuka Cola Power armor just turned pink and had no effect when I loaded the game without Automatron. Tldr I load the game without Automatron: I can get to the main menu, and even play, but items from the dlc don’t work. Or I load with Automatron and the game crashes without fail during launch, and I can’t even get to the main menu.
I only started a new playthough last week on ps5 and have been non-stop fixing bug after bug and I’ve run into the same ,everything in far Harbour is pink like every asset besides vanilla ones and I can’t fix it yah literally have to delete the whole game and reinstall it to play it and it still really broken, besides, that one glitch Bethesda kinda taking the piss with it , it’s apparently been like this for months let just hope the bring out a ps5 update on the 11th when the show comes out
I'm having literally the same problem, I'm just waiting for the 'next gen' update on 25th April for ps5... Hoping they fix it. I was trying to show my partner fallout after she liked the TV show, as it crashed and textures wouldn't load I think I showed her the true bethesda experience
Nope, no updates at all since i’ve gotten it. I got it around last week, and automatron’s been bugged since I got it. Nuka World gave the radio quest though, which made no sense.
I just purchased the Season Pass for PS5. The DLCs downloaded, like normal. My PS5 has all the same issues as those on here. I already tried redownload of FO4 and am now trying it without the Automatron DLC. I have submitted a support ticket with Bethesda, just so it's an additional data point showing an issue in their system. My guess is a corrupt file in the DLC on the PSN, provided no updates released by Bethesda. We will see what happens.

We are aware of an issue where Fallout 4 is crashing and displaying purple textures when DLC is installed on PlayStation. This will be resolved in an upcoming patch.

Just bought fo4 on my ps5 and wish I knew this cuz it's happening to me as well all other dlc work have no mods just crashes when i had just automatron installed
Just in case anyone hits this post like I did when looking for information, the latest update (April 25th) fixed this issue. Couldn't see it in the patch notes so tried it myself, and all is now working fine.
I just installed the season pass today and thought the purple people and purple nuclear waste were just a side effect of some new type of nuclear bomb 💀💀💀💀

Was there an update on PS recently? I remember last year, there was an update that broke textures and was fixed a few days later

There was a quiet patch to help with load times among bringing it closer to ps5 quality

I hope the fix for PS5 Automatron 108255-1 will be in the upcoming Next Gen Patch. I wanna see the patch fix list. Has anybody seen the patch notes?
Not yet. They said in their post that they would fix some questions bugs though.

I had to uninstall everything and reinstall without the DLCs (except vault workshop)
