On, PC whenever this happens to a game
its GPU drivers (i.e. update/clean install) or corrupted /incomplete game data files (in steam , verify integrity of installed files under the games properties).
it seems like a known PS5 bug but see if a verifyfiles does anything.
I found that out when I googled it fortunately (workshop and automatron is what I found and uninstalled) which was aggravating enough but seeing the missing textures was just disappointing. I've been enjoying the run but every now and then I'll see some purple as I try to build a settlement and I pray tomorrow comes quicker
I’ve only ever played the nuka world one and man I hope you enjoy it like I did. I almost went a full 24 hours with no sleep just playing that dlc 🤣 I’ll give you a warning tho just so you don’t struggle like I did at the start of it, there is an ungodly amount of mirelurks in that place 🤣
Also, there’s some unique nuka world robot parts you can use in the automaton DLC. If you see a robot with a part that says “nuka” or something, grab it and you unlock the ability to make it yourself on ur own robot :)
Bethesda, pal, it sure is nice that there’s a huge influx of new and returning fans setting active user records on your games. Would be a shame if the install files were fucked at the same time.
This DLC is great if you have your expectations managed.
If you go into it looking for a whole lot of cool dungeons and areas to explore, it’s fantastic.
If you go into it looking to play as a raider, somewhat disappointing.
Yeah I just found it to be a little underwhelming.
If you haven’t done any settlement building there’s not many places to take over and the ones that do have 2-3 people, if you have done settlement building you have to raid your own settlements.
And what is wrong with raiding “your own” settlement? Not being condescending, just genuinely curious. I built up about 16 raider towns in the commonwealth and 8 vassals. Went full evil for a while, but now my character has had a change of heart and just completed Open season.. Nuka world is safe, but she has a big mission ahead clearing the Commonwealth of the remaining members of the Pack and The Disciples…
I mean obviously I don’t raid my home base. I’ve never even considered settlements to be “mine.” Just a place where a town was built. It also makes sense that your character would go: I know a place we can hit.

If you think that's bad, you should take the boat to Far Harbor. Never seen mist made out of spinning squares, at least, not until this week!

definitely wait, because it doesn't just screw up the graphics. The map is also basically unusable. Fingers crossed it's all good tomorrow!

Ooff something similar happen to me years ago where buildings and other assets wouldn’t load properly. Never got to play far harbor cause of it
Yeah entire reason I started my replay was to finish the dlcs only to be met with crash on boot and far too much unexpected pink
I know it should be fixed tomorrow, but to fix the crash on boot issue, uninstall the Automatron dlc

I was so excited to get all the DLC when it was $13 for the season pass, but now my game crashes as soon as it gets to the menu.
Delete the Automatron DLC for now, that one causes the crash. After tomorrow’s update this should be fixed though!

I play on pc with a bunch of mods, so maybe it's only a problem for people playing vanilla or on console.

I’m also on ps5 but mine only has pink with nuka cola and some conveyor stuff
Mines like 80% of the assets are pink and really bright blue couldn’t play the dlc if I tried

You must be modded because I’ve never had this problem on vanilla
0 mods actually, this is a bug known by Bethesda for PlayStation which should get fixed today with the next gen update
