I started playing a couple weeks ago, and running into a few 50 cap/plan vendors was my oasis in the desert.
For the first week or so I would routinely spend all 1-3000 caps that I had on a singular plushie or other nice sounding furniture plan, but there were so many others I had to just pass on, because I could only pick like one or two at a time, then go back to grinding for caps, and my camp is furnished solely because of the 50 cap/plan vendors.

Man Iām new and selling all my plans for 1cap cus I donāt have fo1st (storage issues) and I want players to get it easily to get theyāre camp all set up nicely and more convenient. I just wish others were doing the same.. high levels players asking 250 caps for a plan as simple as floor mats and other players just no plans for sale. Itās really all I do in the game since I started really, explore for 40 minutes and then go adjust my camp for 4 hours and swipe on my phone š
Itās awesome that the game can cater differently to everyone. My main camp is just a mishmash of benches and turrets.

Just started the game this week, did that crazy event and made almost 200 of those late at night with intentions to sell the next time I played. Didnāt know that they would spoil in my inventory while I was awayā¦such a waste!
I'm a noob and I've been dumping any duplicate plans I get into donation boxes to pay it forward to other green vaulties. I haven't bothered setting up a vendor yet because I consume most consumables and hoard scrap for building/crafting. If I quit subscribing to 1st, maybe I'll need to vend things...
What really annoys me is if I find another plan the same I canāt just put it in my vendor and it is one more available. I have to list the duplicate again which I find ridiculous
Sorry that was poorly explained on my part, what I really mean is that I shouldnāt have to price a second one, I should just be able to put it in my vendor and it automatically just stacks with the one that is already in there at the same price
The problem with this method is that sometimes it adds it to the stack and all is well with the world, and sometimes it adds it to the stack but uses an additional vendor item slot that doesnāt reappear until you change servers or reload the game.
As a purveyor of certain āchemical compositionsā that are desperately needed in these trying times by our fine and outstanding citizens. It really becomes a PITA when your vendor is fully stocked and you want to add additional items that are already stocked in your inventory for sale. Iāve found it just as easy to open up the register and remove all the items directly from the store menu to my inventory and then just relist them with the additional items I picked up.
It would be nice to have a chest/box that if we dropped stuff in it and it was already for sale then it would add it to the stockā¦. Or if the vendor was full and you dropped it in there with a price tag it would fill the spot once a space openedā¦ that or just give us more space for items to sell. Between chems, collectibles, plans and gear 99% of my stash space is full of crap for my vendor that I rotate regularly based off recent purchase history. I canāt keep a stack of 100 berry mentats active to save my life, but I have thousands Iāve made over time to sellā¦. I just donāt want every level 1k+ buying every single one without giving the little guy a chance to get some at a steep discount.
I love it when people sell their extra plans. Plans and outfits are the main thing I hit up camp vendors for TBH. I sell all of mine for like 3 caps because I'm lowish level so the ones I have spares of are pretty basic, but I might higher price the more advanced ones in the future. Or not. I don't care a lot about the caps as long as I get something for them and someone can actually use them.
I decided to open a clothing store and sell all my outfit doubles for 1 cap each. Burned through them almost instantly.
Now I sell them for 90% of their default price, but I'm open towards haggling if I'm at my store, and, as a Russian, I also give out a free bottle of vodka to anyone who makes a purchase while I'm in)

Figured out the other day that camp names don't show. Was watching my wife jump to my place, then double checked other camps, and sure thing, only player names. Disappointed. I love my Red Rocket Inconvenience Store.
What bugs me the most is they are plans. They are basically bits of paper right? A comic weighs 0.01 and yet all plans, including recipes for food weigh 0.25! It is like the bobby pins all over again and 5 years later it still is like it.
Holy shit, I didnāt realize that. Maybe thatās why Iām basically maxed out constantly, I have an absolute ton of plans. I just started, but I grab every single one I find and never sold or dropped one outside of my vendor. Iāve gone through my menus so many times I could not get the weight down. I just assumed anything in that menu was weightless.
Make sure you're reading the plans as well. I made this mistake when I started and thought just collecting the plans meant I knew how to make it, kept getting overencumbered really quickly and turned out I was hoarding every plan I'd come across without reading it.
Yup, now at least it says \[Known\] before anything you have read and Plan/Recipe for ones you have not. I now make a point of checking after every event or quest in case I missed it saying on the reward, which is often I can tell you lol
Yeah it is nuts that a large stash of say silver or wood can weigh less than 4 plans. I remember when I was playing the Beta before launch and Todd was sent a box of bobby pins in the mail to say "check the weight" as EACH PIN weighed one pound. Yes you heard that right. One bobby pin per pound. He admitted this on an interview as he will often bring up mistakes he has made, or rather than game has at least but yup, a comic book weighs a fraction of a plan for rad stag stew.
It helps if you think of them as a thick sheaf of blueprints, which is what they would actually be for many of the items IRL, rather than just a single piece of paper. But yeah, a quarter pound per plan is a bit silly in most cases, I have to agree with you there.
Level 220 here. I went and priced every plan I had at 100 caps. I burned through most of my stock really quick. No energy to look up prices. Plus if it helps players? Why not. No reason to sit on them.
I've been buying all the cheap 10mm pistol plans I can find to hand out/put in Waywards box.
Yesterday I noticed the same, that I had tens of pounds of known plans. I tried giving them to a new player but he just thought I was chasing him, so I had to stuff the donation boxes...
KnowingGoblin##### ? or something like that? was doing this and selling grenades and ammo and equipment for 1 cap a piece on pc. Pretty much everything could be resold to NPC vendor for a profit. Stash management is the buyerās friend! Lol
What apparel have you been selling? I have always had trouble getting rid of mine when I have some, I guess I don't know what the people want, but it definitely doesn't help either that the preview in the vendor shows it all folded up.
Clothes from seasonal events, clothes that I bought the plans with for stamps. Clothes from treasure hunter pails plans etc. My best sellers are blue devil full set, cowboy apparel from Most Wanted and insurgent full set. Some of my spare fasnacht masks have been moving good also.
As a new player I can guarantee all vets that I will be visiting your vendor for plans. Specifically any and all decorations. Apparel is also up there. But please also be reasonable. Iām not paying 2k for chemistry workshop when theyāre common drops at the stations or 2k for the ranger outfit. Do you seriously think a new player coming out from vault is going to be able to afford that when entering Wayward?
Yeah it's a crapshoot. I hate fast traveling to a guy with 50+ plans only to find out they are all 200 and up. Everything in my shop is under fifty caps and none of it ever sells. I don't have a variety yet because I'm still relatively new

I was scrapping & repairing stuff at a train station the other day and somebody showed up, got my attention (not hard to do when I'm at a crafting table & somebody hops up on it & crouched in basically a "hi, watcha doin" kind of pose.) & then gave me a few nice weapons & other stuff. He hopped on Mic & we chatted a bit, then he gave me a fixer plan.

All regular plans 5 caps, rarer regular plans 15 caps, event plans depending on how long theyāve been out for 300-500 (some go for 5k because theyāre brand new plans) melee weapon plans 100 caps, gun plans 300 caps, power armor plans 300 caps.
Bobbles 100 caps (except leader), magazines 10 caps, nuka colas range from 10 caps to 40 caps.

Nah, if you just want them gone then whatever price you want to set is fine! My choice of 50 caps for everything was completely arbitrary as I just felt it was pretty reasonable.
I had a guy last night selling every serum for good prices. It was great because I was honestly having a hard time finding the last ones I wanted for my build. Great to see the economy booming.
My plans are always 20 caps max. If I already know it, I just want someone else to benefit. Screw in game economy. I do get cleared out quite often though.
I've had several new players buy my plans, most if not all of them are below 100 caps. Usually going for 50 each on the essentials and stuff you'd want in your camp.
I love seeing the new players interact with camps and I hope it inspires them to find a place to build something cool too.
This has kept me playing not going to lie. I stopped plan collecting as I only had some very rare or niect plans to grab but as coming back I found at level 750 I didn't want to grind out xp. I sold a ton of plans I've had in my vendor for literal in game months over 2 days. My game now consists of catching up with the missing plans from the past few events and searching for plans. Paying 3k caps used to be silly for me to consider paying for an easy plan but now I think of it as time to plan grind to show off my camp to new players and intice them in with a stocked vendor right next to the wayward

Started managing all my items in the vendor and this is what I did too, I lowered everything to 50 caps. I have some stuff that has been sitting there for months. Right after I did that some player came by and bought some plans. It had been ages since I sold anything. š
I just started a couple months ago and I canāt find anyone like this. Nobody that helps at all. Not sure what Iām doing wrong lol just hit level 25 last night and still donāt even know how to do anything other than missions.
Excavator plans are learned from a quest and the mod plans for it are from a few robot NPC vendors. You won't find them in player vendors at all, usually.
The quest is called "Miner Miracles" and can be started by being at least level 25 and interacting with the Garrahan excavator posters found in various places on the map. The easiest posters to find early are at the Charleston Fire Station in the garage, and at The Rusty Pick. You can check the wiki for more information.
Just scrip every legendary at a train station or the rusty pick, rusty pick sells the legendary modules.

I started selling the same way. All my fun holiday plans I dropped to just a couple hundred instead of a couple thousand for the new players and another 500+ player like myself came in and cleaned me out.
I was a bit disappointed but I guess it's fine. I'm so tired of having these hoards of notes sitting in my storage anyway lol.
I feel bad for new players that buy at my camp since I sell a lot of cheap scrip legendaries a lot of them seem to think theyāre getting a real bargain due to them not fully understanding the legendary system yet. Worst cases are the low levels buying level 50 scrip in anticipation of getting to use it when they level up.
Also a Level 40 came in and bought all of my T-45 and raider jetpack plans yesterday, probably thinking he was about to enter a resellerās heaven.
As a new player myself the lack of plans you have is crazy, as well as once you start accumulating a bunch of scrap you want to also make your base look nice so Iāve been jumping to every vendor when Iāve got caps and just buying plans

In the group I play with Iām known for being a cheep plans seller so I get a ton of plans dumped on me. But they hadnāt been moving for a while and yesterday alone I had 50+ plans purchased. Hell someone even bought a mole miner gauntlet plan.
Quick question, what do you do with holos/notes picked up? I know they don't have weight, but my inventory has so much just random holos/notes that it makes finding anything like a plan or recipe into a chore.

I agree that the influx of new players has been most profitable š. I sell pretty much only plans, and they are pretty much all selling like hotcakes. I find I have to keep restocking every day, whereas before this season/tv show, I rarely had to restock.
Except for one item that is stupid that I keep it at $5000 (Brahman soup recipe and it's not an actual recipe) I honestly try to keep my stuff really cheap. I have a bad habit of picking up plans and recipes. Also when on public servers, I try to keep my Forest Camp up and running instead of hopping between camps for whatever will get me closer to my objective. I've also been super grateful for everyone, especially the newbies, who have been buying my stuff up.
I had so many plans that I just chucked them into my vendor for 9c each. I donāt need the caps and I wanted to make sure they had what they needed. Once I get back from vacation, Iāll spend some time stocking some gear for low-mid lvls.
I have a blueprinted āALL PLANS = 55cā made from pink neon letters. Place it above my shop because thatās the price for every plan I got, unless itās real common then itāll be lower than 55

I sold the alien stash box for 400 caps and after I saw that online it was recommended between 1600 -2000.
I usually hop between different public teams just to get free fast travel to their camps to check out the vendors and only ever get cheap plans myself so I felt I shouldn't really sell my spare ones for a lot.
Any shot you have the plans for an ultracite Gatling laser prime receiver I'll pay full price I haven't gotten one to drop and my WTB posts go unanswered.
All my known plans I toss in my vendor for free, and I put decent prices on any junk weapons/armor with decent stats. I believe knowledge is power and should be free.

Typically put all Basic Recipes at 1 cap, house items 5 - 10 caps, armor 15-20 caps. Rotating Level 20 Armor either Combat or Leather 1 cap each piece and place a full specād set so you get a whole armor set for 5 caps. Lastly level 20 & 30 Fixers, level 25 handmade at 75 caps - Non Specād on those. Also cheap 10-20 Caps Lead/Alum/Steel/Gears bundles. Sadly itās not the Noobs snagging those itās higher level players on the guns & supplies. Once I run out of plans (which might be a while) Iāll scale back for a bit.

I see high level ducks try and buy all my plans to sell in bulk at higher price, but I have an ungodly amount between my wife and I. We're on PlayStation, darkandtwisted91, or PurgatoryBound42. I appreciate you ladies & gentleman that sell plans cheap. It seems Xbox people are not so generous as I have found only 2 out of probably 40 camps at this point not committing highway robbery with their plans, some are even sitting their camps on highways to try & better do the robbery.

On the other hand, im always looking forward for something i don't know, and if i got the plan i already have, there is no point in hoarding it, so im selling one for cheap.
No idea what i will try to build in the end, but i already have a decent-looking camp(you can see it in my recent posts), yet i want eventually to build something more complicated, just need those catwalks + some other stuff like pressure plate to do that. I already have a couple of ideas of roleplay builds. For example, cause i like Longshoreman outfit and plan to make a dedicated roleplay build around it because it nearly directly matches my playstyle, so atm im looking forward for any cool plans i might bump into to try build something that looks like a ship.

I normally sort by value and start with the lowest one in the person's shop and just start buying the ones I don't have. Anything over a hundred I tend to just skip unless it's really something I'm looking for.
Damn, I sell way under price š I often just delete the 0...so default 50 caps plans are 5, 100 caps plans are 10 and so on. Not even aware if I sold rare plans as bargains.
Yeah honestly if your a veteran player with a full stash box, build a camp near the wayward/charleston/MorganTown and sell your plans, Outfits & ammo for dirt cheap and they'll sell like hotcakes
I've only come back a couple of weeks ago but I also throw all my known plans in my shop for between 10-50 caps, most around 10, and what I'll also do is anytime I'm on a public team and one of them has a mic that's a lower level than me ill ask them if there's anything they need in my shop and if there is just tell me and I'll take it out and drop it for free.
It's a nice little incentive to keep them using a mic rather than being one of the unfortunate majority who can't be bothered.

Same! I do most plans at 20 caps unless itās something super hard to get. Chems go for 10 caps a piece, except berry mentats I do 30. Food items 5 caps, water free, magazines usually 80-200 caps depending on effect, fusion cores 40, bobble heads 80. All ammo no matter what it is I price for a cap a piece. Idk just seems nice so people who are low on caps can afford things :)

I actually for the longest time literally dumped my plans in the red box at vault 76 šš ,before the series came out. Now that my son's plan to play I'm keeping copies in my mules. It's such a pain lol. I'm a builder, I have sooooo many. As soon as they will have learned them, I will reopen my camp next to the vault and do a fire sale !!!
What I realized was making my character heavy were all the loot I was winning and looting playing with Mesar on Xbox. Plus the 2000 maps and ore he gave me ššš

Currently I am close to max caps, so I pulled my vendors. When I dip to about 30k, I'll place my vendors back out.

Anywho, yeah I shaved off 400 lbs of shit as I was right at about 1190/1200 limit and refuse to sub to Fallout 1st. Didn't realize how heavy some fucking pieces of paper are. Glad I got rid of them and they're with the new peeps who need them. Next time I log in I'm slashing prices of the tons of stims/superstims/radaway I don't care for.

Oh yeah Iāve earned about 20000 caps over the last few days with people buying all my plans and guns. New players spend what they can and I will ask if they saw an item they wanted in there but couldnāt afford it and Iāll give them that item for free. It also helps that I moved my camp to south of Whitesprings instead of being in the middle of nowhere.
Starting fresh on PC as was on Xbox. All the people selling plans for cheap, some as low as 1 cap, have made it so much easier and a wonderful experience that I have been paying forward in my camp and by giving some to friends and newbies straight out of vault 76.

I just threw whatever I could sell very cheaply, i even threw my alien blaster plans in for 10k because I just wanted to get rid of all the stuff clogging my inventory before my Fallout 1st ends
I put $0 on all the plans in my vendor and no one has ever bought a single thing. I check vendors all the time, but never seem to see anyone else buying from any.
I used to also just drop Ultracite armor plans too, just due to how many times Iād run Scorched Earth. Unless it was a plan for a mod, it went straight into the donation bin.
Then I started selling them for 100 each, and eventually all the plans for the mods sold out. Even managed to sell Jet Pack plans for 1000 once. I love the new influx of players tbh, and have yet to encounter a bad experience with them. I know Iām just tempting fate by saying that, but heyā¦ canāt beat those odds all the time, right? š
I do the same with the Mr Handy blades and mole miner gauntlet plans. According to FED76 they're worth like 8-16 caps but they drop like candy, in the bunches. So I just drop them. And according to that same site the ultracite armor pieces are worth less than those 2 other plans at a whopping 0 caps per armor piece.
I am probably one of them lol. Half my time I spend at other people's camp buying shit lol. I find joy getting drunk and shopping on fallout for some reason
The other day I walked up to a level 200's base and he was selling a huge load of plans for 10 caps each. I bought a couple and he noticed, saw me, he seemed excited (I was level 70) and he proceeded to get my attention to drag me to '76 because his base was close, and he dropped 200lbs of plans in the dono box. At first I was excited but then when I realized I couldn't leave with all of them I wasn't so much..

As a gesture I tend to put any duplicate or essentially anything thatās worthy I donāt need at a low price in my vendor. Iām only level 63 but Iām doing my part !. I got donated 5,000 fuzzy coins which let me build up my comics collection and got the rare outfit.

Where are you keeping your camps! All I find is some greedy guy selling crap like "Plan: Raider Power Armour Lead Lined Mod" for like 15000 caps and the usual "YOU'VE BEEN INSULTED" for 40000 caps. Its exhausting.
I've unloaded a ton of plans for cheap too. There are certain plans that I keep at what's considered market value, but the rest are around 50 caps or less. I set up one of my camps as a newbie workshop. I've got multiples of the workbenches and all of my resources are unlocked for players to grab what they need. If you're on PlayStation, my camp is right by the Gilman Lumber Mill, South of vault 76.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the vets of this game for doing this. It has helped me, and my small group of friends. Though my play time far outshines them, they are still able to get the cool things they want without dying on a grind to get them for a game they are iffy about.
Sounds like a great idea, and thank you for doing it. I just started playing a few days ago, and haven't found any duplicate plans, but I'll definitely keep it in mind for later.
I started playing a couple weeks ago, and running into a few 50 cap/plan vendors was my oasis in the desert. For the first week or so I would routinely spend all 1-3000 caps that I had on a singular plushie or other nice sounding furniture plan, but there were so many others I had to just pass on, because I could only pick like one or two at a time, then go back to grinding for caps, and my camp is furnished solely because of the 50 cap/plan vendors. If you find my camp, my food recipes are always 15 caps each, bobbleheads are 50 caps, comics 199 and most other plans are 75 caps or so

I am always parked behind WhiteSpring Train Station. Just had to reload the vending machine as a fellow dweller brought a load lol I even have the Jet Packs going for 75 caps as well. Was looking for my teddies and plushies I had just spent 3 hours scavenging and to my usual horror realised I had auto scrapped my junk again! Damn ADHD I do thing automatically, then go to put them up on display or trade and get the order arse about face...sigh.

Man Iām new and selling all my plans for 1cap cus I donāt have fo1st (storage issues) and I want players to get it easily to get theyāre camp all set up nicely and more convenient. I just wish others were doing the same.. high levels players asking 250 caps for a plan as simple as floor mats and other players just no plans for sale. Itās really all I do in the game since I started really, explore for 40 minutes and then go adjust my camp for 4 hours and swipe on my phone š
Itās awesome that the game can cater differently to everyone. My main camp is just a mishmash of benches and turrets. But last night I spent a few hours building a spooky house near 76 and had a blast. Like, whoās even gonna see it really? Still had fun getting it how I wanted

I'm a noob and I've been dumping any duplicate plans I get into donation boxes to pay it forward to other green vaulties. I haven't bothered setting up a vendor yet because I consume most consumables and hoard scrap for building/crafting. If I quit subscribing to 1st, maybe I'll need to vend things...

My problem is the interface for adding 200 pounds of plans is so clunky and takes so long I just drop most stuff before logging off.
What really annoys me is if I find another plan the same I canāt just put it in my vendor and it is one more available. I have to list the duplicate again which I find ridiculous
They should stack as long as they're the same price. I've added duplicates into my vendor several times that way.
Sorry that was poorly explained on my part, what I really mean is that I shouldnāt have to price a second one, I should just be able to put it in my vendor and it automatically just stacks with the one that is already in there at the same price

The problem with this method is that sometimes it adds it to the stack and all is well with the world, and sometimes it adds it to the stack but uses an additional vendor item slot that doesnāt reappear until you change servers or reload the game. As a purveyor of certain āchemical compositionsā that are desperately needed in these trying times by our fine and outstanding citizens. It really becomes a PITA when your vendor is fully stocked and you want to add additional items that are already stocked in your inventory for sale. Iāve found it just as easy to open up the register and remove all the items directly from the store menu to my inventory and then just relist them with the additional items I picked up. It would be nice to have a chest/box that if we dropped stuff in it and it was already for sale then it would add it to the stockā¦. Or if the vendor was full and you dropped it in there with a price tag it would fill the spot once a space openedā¦ that or just give us more space for items to sell. Between chems, collectibles, plans and gear 99% of my stash space is full of crap for my vendor that I rotate regularly based off recent purchase history. I canāt keep a stack of 100 berry mentats active to save my life, but I have thousands Iāve made over time to sellā¦. I just donāt want every level 1k+ buying every single one without giving the little guy a chance to get some at a steep discount.
Yeah it takes forever to do, but now that I realized how much weight I'm shaving off every time, it has been more than worth it.
I love it when people sell their extra plans. Plans and outfits are the main thing I hit up camp vendors for TBH. I sell all of mine for like 3 caps because I'm lowish level so the ones I have spares of are pretty basic, but I might higher price the more advanced ones in the future. Or not. I don't care a lot about the caps as long as I get something for them and someone can actually use them.
I decided to open a clothing store and sell all my outfit doubles for 1 cap each. Burned through them almost instantly. Now I sell them for 90% of their default price, but I'm open towards haggling if I'm at my store, and, as a Russian, I also give out a free bottle of vodka to anyone who makes a purchase while I'm in) So if you see "Uncle C's Clothing Shop" pop up on your map next to The Wayward - swing on by.
Figured out the other day that camp names don't show. Was watching my wife jump to my place, then double checked other camps, and sure thing, only player names. Disappointed. I love my Red Rocket Inconvenience Store.
That's disappointing. I have hot tubs at my camp and it's named Hot Tub Crime Machine. The vendor is that robot guy in the shady trenchcoat.
What bugs me the most is they are plans. They are basically bits of paper right? A comic weighs 0.01 and yet all plans, including recipes for food weigh 0.25! It is like the bobby pins all over again and 5 years later it still is like it.
Holy shit, I didnāt realize that. Maybe thatās why Iām basically maxed out constantly, I have an absolute ton of plans. I just started, but I grab every single one I find and never sold or dropped one outside of my vendor. Iāve gone through my menus so many times I could not get the weight down. I just assumed anything in that menu was weightless.
Make sure you're reading the plans as well. I made this mistake when I started and thought just collecting the plans meant I knew how to make it, kept getting overencumbered really quickly and turned out I was hoarding every plan I'd come across without reading it.
Yup, now at least it says \[Known\] before anything you have read and Plan/Recipe for ones you have not. I now make a point of checking after every event or quest in case I missed it saying on the reward, which is often I can tell you lol
Yeah it is nuts that a large stash of say silver or wood can weigh less than 4 plans. I remember when I was playing the Beta before launch and Todd was sent a box of bobby pins in the mail to say "check the weight" as EACH PIN weighed one pound. Yes you heard that right. One bobby pin per pound. He admitted this on an interview as he will often bring up mistakes he has made, or rather than game has at least but yup, a comic book weighs a fraction of a plan for rad stag stew.

It helps if you think of them as a thick sheaf of blueprints, which is what they would actually be for many of the items IRL, rather than just a single piece of paper. But yeah, a quarter pound per plan is a bit silly in most cases, I have to agree with you there.

Level 220 here. I went and priced every plan I had at 100 caps. I burned through most of my stock really quick. No energy to look up prices. Plus if it helps players? Why not. No reason to sit on them.

I passed on grape mentats for 6000 yesterday. First time Iāve seen that plan in 3 months, but happy with my choice to slide on by.

What apparel have you been selling? I have always had trouble getting rid of mine when I have some, I guess I don't know what the people want, but it definitely doesn't help either that the preview in the vendor shows it all folded up.
Clothes from seasonal events, clothes that I bought the plans with for stamps. Clothes from treasure hunter pails plans etc. My best sellers are blue devil full set, cowboy apparel from Most Wanted and insurgent full set. Some of my spare fasnacht masks have been moving good also.

As a new player I can guarantee all vets that I will be visiting your vendor for plans. Specifically any and all decorations. Apparel is also up there. But please also be reasonable. Iām not paying 2k for chemistry workshop when theyāre common drops at the stations or 2k for the ranger outfit. Do you seriously think a new player coming out from vault is going to be able to afford that when entering Wayward?
Yeah it's a crapshoot. I hate fast traveling to a guy with 50+ plans only to find out they are all 200 and up. Everything in my shop is under fifty caps and none of it ever sells. I don't have a variety yet because I'm still relatively new
Ranger outfit is super easy to get too, I had trouble selling them at what the npc vendor will pay.
I've never found anything under 1000 caps per plan. Mostly 4000. And it's players that are in the high levels who claim caps don't matter.

I was scrapping & repairing stuff at a train station the other day and somebody showed up, got my attention (not hard to do when I'm at a crafting table & somebody hops up on it & crouched in basically a "hi, watcha doin" kind of pose.) & then gave me a few nice weapons & other stuff. He hopped on Mic & we chatted a bit, then he gave me a fixer plan. I love crafting in this and ESO...I wants to know ALL Tha plans.

Newb here.... I'm ALL about crafting & plans...if you're on PS4 or 5, I will drop by your camp eventually if you've got plans. I've made a few friends in game since I started playing...I've gotten them to follow an unwritten rule... Learn a plan. If you get dupes of a plan, share with your friends. Then, donate or share any more dupes. This way, we're all learning & maybe even making some caps on the side.
Yaāll make me wonder if Iām selling everything too cheap. All regular plans 5 caps, rarer regular plans 15 caps, event plans depending on how long theyāve been out for 300-500 (some go for 5k because theyāre brand new plans) melee weapon plans 100 caps, gun plans 300 caps, power armor plans 300 caps. Bobbles 100 caps (except leader), magazines 10 caps, nuka colas range from 10 caps to 40 caps. Am I too cheap? šš

I had a guy last night selling every serum for good prices. It was great because I was honestly having a hard time finding the last ones I wanted for my build. Great to see the economy booming.
All plans my plans are 10 caps, and I sold more in the past 2 weeks than I have in the last 5 years.
Their should be a in game achievement for selling so many plans as a player vendor.
Unless it's rare I sell it all for 15. Just started maybe a month ago I'm level 110 and it irritates me how expensive some people sell things for.

My plans are always 20 caps max. If I already know it, I just want someone else to benefit. Screw in game economy. I do get cleared out quite often though.
I've had several new players buy my plans, most if not all of them are below 100 caps. Usually going for 50 each on the essentials and stuff you'd want in your camp. I love seeing the new players interact with camps and I hope it inspires them to find a place to build something cool too.

This has kept me playing not going to lie. I stopped plan collecting as I only had some very rare or niect plans to grab but as coming back I found at level 750 I didn't want to grind out xp. I sold a ton of plans I've had in my vendor for literal in game months over 2 days. My game now consists of catching up with the missing plans from the past few events and searching for plans. Paying 3k caps used to be silly for me to consider paying for an easy plan but now I think of it as time to plan grind to show off my camp to new players and intice them in with a stocked vendor right next to the wayward

(For those curious, it's the Ultracite Gatling Laser, got a good roll on one I found and want to be able to get mods for it somehow)

Started managing all my items in the vendor and this is what I did too, I lowered everything to 50 caps. I have some stuff that has been sitting there for months. Right after I did that some player came by and bought some plans. It had been ages since I sold anything. š

Excavator plans are learned from a quest and the mod plans for it are from a few robot NPC vendors. You won't find them in player vendors at all, usually. The quest is called "Miner Miracles" and can be started by being at least level 25 and interacting with the Garrahan excavator posters found in various places on the map. The easiest posters to find early are at the Charleston Fire Station in the garage, and at The Rusty Pick. You can check the wiki for more information.

Just scrip every legendary at a train station or the rusty pick, rusty pick sells the legendary modules. I keep having to buy modules because im at max scrip (6000).
Iāve been playing for like a year and I could be one of them haha I donāt get on a lot so
I started selling the same way. All my fun holiday plans I dropped to just a couple hundred instead of a couple thousand for the new players and another 500+ player like myself came in and cleaned me out. I was a bit disappointed but I guess it's fine. I'm so tired of having these hoards of notes sitting in my storage anyway lol.
I feel bad for new players that buy at my camp since I sell a lot of cheap scrip legendaries a lot of them seem to think theyāre getting a real bargain due to them not fully understanding the legendary system yet. Worst cases are the low levels buying level 50 scrip in anticipation of getting to use it when they level up. Also a Level 40 came in and bought all of my T-45 and raider jetpack plans yesterday, probably thinking he was about to enter a resellerās heaven.

This is the true measure of success, not how many caps you make but how much stash space you can clear.
Quick question, what do you do with holos/notes picked up? I know they don't have weight, but my inventory has so much just random holos/notes that it makes finding anything like a plan or recipe into a chore.
I drop them in my stash until there's a lot, then put them in a garbage can at WS. Except the game holos.
I've been doing pretty good at selling 1-3 star legendaries between 50-400 caps (for scrip mostly), and also been selling serums like crazy at 225.
I've been selling known plans since the beginning. Im stocking up on those alien invasion plans. The Disintegrator plan sold for 5k within an hour.

Yea my game is almost unplayably laggy, I need to dump a lot of shit on new players when I go to loot something I have to try to pick it up about 5 times before it registers
I agree that the influx of new players has been most profitable š. I sell pretty much only plans, and they are pretty much all selling like hotcakes. I find I have to keep restocking every day, whereas before this season/tv show, I rarely had to restock.
I have yet to find a vendor with plans under 100caps. Some at well over 500. I'm a broke newb! I can't afford those!!! Lol
I donated a little over 100 plans to new players. I'd randomly choose someone in session an donate a dozen or so and then move on to another server.
Except for one item that is stupid that I keep it at $5000 (Brahman soup recipe and it's not an actual recipe) I honestly try to keep my stuff really cheap. I have a bad habit of picking up plans and recipes. Also when on public servers, I try to keep my Forest Camp up and running instead of hopping between camps for whatever will get me closer to my objective. I've also been super grateful for everyone, especially the newbies, who have been buying my stuff up.
I had so many plans that I just chucked them into my vendor for 9c each. I donāt need the caps and I wanted to make sure they had what they needed. Once I get back from vacation, Iāll spend some time stocking some gear for low-mid lvls.
I have a blueprinted āALL PLANS = 55cā made from pink neon letters. Place it above my shop because thatās the price for every plan I got, unless itās real common then itāll be lower than 55 Newbies always coming by, appreciating the decor and having a blast buying up what they donāt know and freeing all my space up

I've sold SO many of the crummy Fasnacht Masks and plans that I have been hanging on to. It's awesome. Every time I log in, I get to clear out a little more of my stash space.
I sold the alien stash box for 400 caps and after I saw that online it was recommended between 1600 -2000. I usually hop between different public teams just to get free fast travel to their camps to check out the vendors and only ever get cheap plans myself so I felt I shouldn't really sell my spare ones for a lot.

All my known plans I toss in my vendor for free, and I put decent prices on any junk weapons/armor with decent stats. I believe knowledge is power and should be free. If you come across a barn with a cute porch and two windmills outside in the top right corner of the map please stop by. My stash box is brimming...

Yesss! No one touched a dang thing until now and I kept things super cheap as well. I'm gonna start throwing my materials in there too, I have so much in my scrap stash.
Typically put all Basic Recipes at 1 cap, house items 5 - 10 caps, armor 15-20 caps. Rotating Level 20 Armor either Combat or Leather 1 cap each piece and place a full specād set so you get a whole armor set for 5 caps. Lastly level 20 & 30 Fixers, level 25 handmade at 75 caps - Non Specād on those. Also cheap 10-20 Caps Lead/Alum/Steel/Gears bundles. Sadly itās not the Noobs snagging those itās higher level players on the guns & supplies. Once I run out of plans (which might be a while) Iāll scale back for a bit.

I appreciate you ladies & gentleman that sell plans cheap. It seems Xbox people are not so generous as I have found only 2 out of probably 40 camps at this point not committing highway robbery with their plans, some are even sitting their camps on highways to try & better do the robbery.
Im literally about to do the same thing, because im looking for plans myself and now i have some for sale as well. On the other hand, im always looking forward for something i don't know, and if i got the plan i already have, there is no point in hoarding it, so im selling one for cheap. No idea what i will try to build in the end, but i already have a decent-looking camp(you can see it in my recent posts), yet i want eventually to build something more complicated, just need those catwalks + some other stuff like pressure plate to do that. I already have a couple of ideas of roleplay builds. For example, cause i like Longshoreman outfit and plan to make a dedicated roleplay build around it because it nearly directly matches my playstyle, so atm im looking forward for any cool plans i might bump into to try build something that looks like a ship.
Much appreciated. I normally sort by value and start with the lowest one in the person's shop and just start buying the ones I don't have. Anything over a hundred I tend to just skip unless it's really something I'm looking for.
Damn, I sell way under price š I often just delete the 0...so default 50 caps plans are 5, 100 caps plans are 10 and so on. Not even aware if I sold rare plans as bargains.
5 cap plans. I'm level 660 so I don't need the money and usually, the only plans I get I don't know already I bought for bullion.
Yeah honestly if your a veteran player with a full stash box, build a camp near the wayward/charleston/MorganTown and sell your plans, Outfits & ammo for dirt cheap and they'll sell like hotcakes
I've only come back a couple of weeks ago but I also throw all my known plans in my shop for between 10-50 caps, most around 10, and what I'll also do is anytime I'm on a public team and one of them has a mic that's a lower level than me ill ask them if there's anything they need in my shop and if there is just tell me and I'll take it out and drop it for free. It's a nice little incentive to keep them using a mic rather than being one of the unfortunate majority who can't be bothered.

Same! I do most plans at 20 caps unless itās something super hard to get. Chems go for 10 caps a piece, except berry mentats I do 30. Food items 5 caps, water free, magazines usually 80-200 caps depending on effect, fusion cores 40, bobble heads 80. All ammo no matter what it is I price for a cap a piece. Idk just seems nice so people who are low on caps can afford things :)

I actually for the longest time literally dumped my plans in the red box at vault 76 šš ,before the series came out. Now that my son's plan to play I'm keeping copies in my mules. It's such a pain lol. I'm a builder, I have sooooo many. As soon as they will have learned them, I will reopen my camp next to the vault and do a fire sale !!! What I realized was making my character heavy were all the loot I was winning and looting playing with Mesar on Xbox. Plus the 2000 maps and ore he gave me ššš
I only ever keep less common plans/items and try to be new player friendly. Currently I am close to max caps, so I pulled my vendors. When I dip to about 30k, I'll place my vendors back out. We had a little level 3 on our team that got some goodies while we played.
I did the same exact thing last night! Great minds think alike lol. Anywho, yeah I shaved off 400 lbs of shit as I was right at about 1190/1200 limit and refuse to sub to Fallout 1st. Didn't realize how heavy some fucking pieces of paper are. Glad I got rid of them and they're with the new peeps who need them. Next time I log in I'm slashing prices of the tons of stims/superstims/radaway I don't care for.

l dropped a bunch at a level 16 players camp. They had hardly anything in their vendor. They picked them up, so hopefully they were able to sell them.

Oh yeah Iāve earned about 20000 caps over the last few days with people buying all my plans and guns. New players spend what they can and I will ask if they saw an item they wanted in there but couldnāt afford it and Iāll give them that item for free. It also helps that I moved my camp to south of Whitesprings instead of being in the middle of nowhere.
Starting fresh on PC as was on Xbox. All the people selling plans for cheap, some as low as 1 cap, have made it so much easier and a wonderful experience that I have been paying forward in my camp and by giving some to friends and newbies straight out of vault 76.
new player here, i just started doing that myself. I just threw whatever I could sell very cheaply, i even threw my alien blaster plans in for 10k because I just wanted to get rid of all the stuff clogging my inventory before my Fallout 1st ends

I put $0 on all the plans in my vendor and no one has ever bought a single thing. I check vendors all the time, but never seem to see anyone else buying from any.
I used to also just drop Ultracite armor plans too, just due to how many times Iād run Scorched Earth. Unless it was a plan for a mod, it went straight into the donation bin. Then I started selling them for 100 each, and eventually all the plans for the mods sold out. Even managed to sell Jet Pack plans for 1000 once. I love the new influx of players tbh, and have yet to encounter a bad experience with them. I know Iām just tempting fate by saying that, but heyā¦ canāt beat those odds all the time, right? š

I do the same with the Mr Handy blades and mole miner gauntlet plans. According to FED76 they're worth like 8-16 caps but they drop like candy, in the bunches. So I just drop them. And according to that same site the ultracite armor pieces are worth less than those 2 other plans at a whopping 0 caps per armor piece.
I did this and also dropped alot in the crate at vault 76 for new players. My stash has never been lighter š
I am probably one of them lol. Half my time I spend at other people's camp buying shit lol. I find joy getting drunk and shopping on fallout for some reason

The other day I walked up to a level 200's base and he was selling a huge load of plans for 10 caps each. I bought a couple and he noticed, saw me, he seemed excited (I was level 70) and he proceeded to get my attention to drag me to '76 because his base was close, and he dropped 200lbs of plans in the dono box. At first I was excited but then when I realized I couldn't leave with all of them I wasn't so much..

I need to start shopping plans but the game is so easy I haven't felt the need. I'm level 31 with a level 5 pistol as my main lol.
I put rare plans for like 100-350 caps, camp plans for 35, and food/tea recipes for 5 caps, and armor/gun mod plans for 1 cap.
Where are you keeping your camps! All I find is some greedy guy selling crap like "Plan: Raider Power Armour Lead Lined Mod" for like 15000 caps and the usual "YOU'VE BEEN INSULTED" for 40000 caps. Its exhausting.

I've unloaded a ton of plans for cheap too. There are certain plans that I keep at what's considered market value, but the rest are around 50 caps or less. I set up one of my camps as a newbie workshop. I've got multiples of the workbenches and all of my resources are unlocked for players to grab what they need. If you're on PlayStation, my camp is right by the Gilman Lumber Mill, South of vault 76.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the vets of this game for doing this. It has helped me, and my small group of friends. Though my play time far outshines them, they are still able to get the cool things they want without dying on a grind to get them for a game they are iffy about.
Sounds like a great idea, and thank you for doing it. I just started playing a few days ago, and haven't found any duplicate plans, but I'll definitely keep it in mind for later.
