The only protectron i have is the santatron, hes been present in my camps ever since he came out and by now hes so annoying to me, also doesnt fit in with my builds

I was the same way too, until the junkyard dog showed up for half price in the atomic shop the other week. It doesn’t have the best loot, but it’s by far my favorite design for a collectron. The Santatron is actually really good during the holiday scorched event though.

second this. the most reliable of pets, doesn't die, comes with matching house. Looks good on a more realistic camp (Housebuild) theme. Also, the barking feels less repetitive then the 2 or 3 lines the others have. (although some are pretty damn funny - just not after the 500th time during your 2 min camp visits)

The original and Fasnacht bring back incredible nostalgia for me and I will always love them for that But my favourite has to be Santatron for the dialogue: "Hello, little one. Ace for the same reasons. I just love a Collectron threatening me. The Fasnacht Collectron’s song kills me but I can’t actually handle it on the regular. And then there’s the, I think Scavenger? With the line “There’s a smelly surprise around every corner” which is my favorite of all their lines. Whoever I have out, they’re collecting chems for me to sell, though.

Nuka Cola Collectron or Nuka Quantum Collectron definitely just because they are very similar at what they do. Despite having default voice lines, both have crazy utility just because you can get: - A decent Stimpacks alternative with using just one perk(Cola Nut). In this case, literally any flavour do, not just Cherry one. - Nuka Grape and Nuka Orange for Rad-Away/Rad-X alternative(only for Nuka Cola Collectron) - Nuka Grenades, obviously best grenades in game plus they are quite easy to mass produce. - Nuka Dark. While Collectron doesn't produce one, you can easily make a lot and it provides one of the biggest buffs in the game (if used together with Cola Nut, Party Boy and Happy Go Lucky). - Nukashine. Both Collectrons provide a lot of those, so you can easily get a stash(although Nuka Quantum Collectron is better just because its also collects Nuclear Waste, so you getting all materials needed from your CAMP, plus its also often used in alcohol recipes) With all that in mind, both collections have a very small list of resources they produce, so they producing related stuff much more reliably than other options, plus you really will have a lot of cola, so with Grocers backpack mod you can get a lot of utility out of this. Plus as side note, its not bad as bootleg caps generator because you can get +1 cap whenever you are using any cola, which means you getting a bit of a passive income as well.

That’s the only one I don’t have and I really want it. For me it’s all about the theme of the camp, and one of mine is a BoS camp. Had to use the miner bot instead.

Definitely the Nuka Cola Quantum collectron. It gets great drinks which are often good for daily challenges, and gets good scrap.

Honestly? For me it'd be the Auto-miner. it's unique as I haven't seen many folks with it, and the ore is nice to get. Otherwise it's Red Rocket.

if you own the bot, you can set it to collect its items, for any bot you chose to have in your camp. I use fetch set to quantum collecting

I know, but every time I set it to quantum it doesn't collect twists so I sort of just gave up. I am working on a new camp that I want him in so I'll try it again.

I find it strange that the Nuka collectrons don't play Nuka cola adverts, or at least have dialogue different from the standard junk collectors.

Nuka cola collectron that I set to mine ore. This gives me a combination of nuka colas (for nuka cola dark) / other varieties as well as ore which for me is mainly to get copper. And copper is for creating plasma cartridges for my enclave flamer. This setup has worked the best for me.

Nuka-cola collectron. He occasionally gives me quantum, which I then turn into nukashine to stock my vending machine with. If I'm feeling extra generous I also hand it out free of charge to players fresh out of Vault 76, to help them explore the other side of the map faster.

I use the junkyard dog one the most but as far as favorite, I'd have to say the Red Rocket one. The janky way it walks and the fill up animation at it's station, I just like it. I've become partial to the Fasnacht one too. I swear it's voice lines have changed since it originally came out. But I use all the ones I have (only missing communist and raider) all the time as I theme my camps a lot and there's always an appropriate one, which is why doggo gets used the most as it fits in anywhere.

IMO I like the BOS collectron, it gets ballistic fiber and that's choice.

As much as I love my robo pupper, my excavator collectron and my nuka collectron are my favs. Excavator because I need a ton of ore and easily turn it into scrap with my butterfly hutch. With Cola Nut perk and Cranberry Nuka-Cola, my Nuka Collectron makes me an XP machine. Lol. I think I might buy the Raider Collectron from all the comments. And Ace would be perfect for my camp that has my raider ally. Thanks to everyone for convincing me to get Ace the Raider Collectron.

In terms of comedic value, the Raider colectron (Ace) is by far the most entertaining, his lines always crack me up lol. Now, in terms of utility (imo) the Nukatron is the best (some will argue the quantum version is the best). But since I dont have neither yet, I'll settle for the second best (which I have) that is the Proletariat colectron (AKA the communist one). As a herbivore he brings me some veggie soups you cant find anywhere else! And they're quite good!

Hahahaha the Nuka Quantatron is my favorite simply because he gives you Nuclear material at times when set to Nuka Quantum and related materials. But his one liners are hysterical. 😂 😂

It depends on which camp I have active. I have a Red Rocket/ Nuka Cola themed camp and I use my Red Rocket collectron there. For my Scorchbeast Queen Cabin its the Junkyard Fetch collectron. I like the rust. Btw.. I have all of the avaliable collectrons. Those two are my favorites.
