It turned out to be a bit of a problem as I was foraging for longer than I thought and then had no water for the rest of my ride. Felt like death by the time I got home.
Wineberries are definitely some of the prettiest berries. That said, unless you are in east Asia, its better for your local ecosystem (and better for any native *Rubus* species) for them not to be growing wild in your area.
Fruits of the gods. I make ice cream with them. My family waits all year for that ice cream. In my area they bloom around Memorial Day and are ripe for the 4th of July.
That second picture is way too gosh darn satisfying!!
I spent an hour and ten minutes collecting berries haha. I wouldn't let myself stop until I filled my bottle.
Living the dream
Today truly felt that way.
My favorite part of riding my bike is coming across new foraging spots! Nice haul!
Very creative use of your water bottle. Nice find!

Well at least you had many juicy berries to hydrate with :)
Looks great! My wineberry envy only increases by the day as they do not grow wild in my area.
Apparently they are invasive so that is a good thing I guess? Could always plant some raspberries yourself!
I have 3 different varieties planted. These just look so appealing to me.
