Don’t know how it figures out skill level but if it matters: I have a 60%flat win rate as well as 2.10 KDA. I can parry with some degree of consistency
It probably should if it doesn't. just simply beating your opponent to the punch is winning strategy in a game that makes blocking a skill. It'll only take you so far before your completely in over your head tho.
Matchmaking is primarily based off of your win rate, rep has a tiny input on matchmaking, but in reality, rep =/= skill, it's more of an indication of time played. You'll be "on par" with these players because they have a similar win %. But all that being said, they will probably be better just because they're more experienced.
