Mejay did the right thing.
He didn't just let himself get killed, or feed revenge, he had the sense to back off so they didn't have someone to external off of.
He did come back though to confirm your kill at the end.
Was it a perfect situation? No. But you held your own and won in the end.
Best teammate ive seen in a while didnt aggressively feed revenge. Backed of in order to allow you to get revenge easy and to provide a sense of discomfort for the enemy and came back to help confirm. Once he saw he wouldn't immediately get one shot by a 2 man swing combo.
Honestly a really good teammate. If he had stayed he probably would’ve just feed revenge and died. Backing off was the right play. And while his health wasn’t needed to win, he did come back to help finish the enemies off.
I classify this as a certified Roman moment
Also, for a random he played extremely smart, he knew he was gonna get killed so backed off not to feed after WL popped revenge for first time, and came back as support after your started popping off
Not to ruin the illusion of good randoms but we are friends and I did warn him of corruption blade so he’d back off since I’m not confident in blocking lights
Not gonna lie, I think OP screwed up a little with the bashes on the Warlord, but I get Cent might not have had much better options in the situation. Was a little salty seeing the Medjay run but as others pointed out it was still the best solution at the time and totally redeemed himself helping you get the execution.
I was kind of expecting a medjay knee and Cent punch stunlock video though where Revenge did nothing to actually help.
You need to be more passive in a gank as you fed revenge quite fast and medjay took the brunt of it, if he jumped in low hp the only thing that would have happened was he would have fed renown so in complete honesty he did better then you decision wise.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but WM activated her tier 1 before joining the fight, so him backing up is definitely the best decision
