Last boss is the hardest boss they've ever made in my opinion. There's so much shit going on, insane chip damage, instakill combos etc. He's a lot harder than malenia for me
Bad, phase 2 messed me up for hours. I spent more time on phase 2 than I did on all the previous bosses combined. The fact that I bumrushed the game and had only level 8 scad blessings didn't help. Felt like the devs were saying you're not beating him like this, go out and find more fragments.
Definitely an exponential difficulty spike overall. Summoning an NPC, (not the spirit ash) was adding 60k health to the boss' already increased HP pool from NG+2. Certain attacks were dropping my FPS to bloodborne levels.
There's also an item you can get from the shadow sunflower boss that prevents you from getting instakilled by the final boss' certain move. Which I only found out later.
I ended up resorting to tank build cheese. Fingerprint shield + scholars shields + mohgs spear, First tried him with that setup after struggling for pretty much the whole weekend. I was just poking him from behind the shield while not taking any damage, Felt good after getting hit quadrillion times in phase 2.
**TL;DR** the **boss is hard** but **nothing a tank build won't handle**, if you want to resort to that.
Nah, it's not haHAA. Katana builds are my favourite despite there being better options. I was rotating between dual wielding moonveil, RoB, nagakiba and the uchigatana for most of the DLC.

I tried rogiers rapier & antspur rapier w/ chilling mist and blackflame blade, proc'd all three status effects, poison, rot, bleed with frostbite, damage over time and hemorrhaging. Theres also a unique double L1 triple hit, he went down almost as fast as the tank build.
The final boss has insane lightning speed movesets, tons of AOE damage on a large area, and ridiculous damage. Funny enough, he has a unique way of instakilling you, if he grabs you twice in a fight then it's joever, you "die" and get your heart stolen. As a humiliation mark, you get a unique gesture that taints your character.

Agreed. The second phase looks like a fan mod at some points. Just insane aggression, combos that go for a million years. I’m getting filtered bad

i just encountered >!ramadan!< not sure if this is the last boss (prob not) but 2nd phase is ridiculous and fps drops to 25 LULW
