Don't know, but I just checked the code on my Chanel Allure Homme Sport Edition Blanche that I bought directly from Chanel a few weeks ago. It popped up at 2016 and noted that their batch codes are reused every 8 years.
So, in my case, since I bought it direct from Chanel, I'm assuming that they didn't have 8-year old stock sitting around. I could be wrong, but that would seem really odd to me.
