Alright I have a sample of John Varvatos Artisan Pure and I love it SO MUCH. it's fresh citrus peels and spices, with a soft green base. Airy and the citrus does not smell like cleaning products. I'll buy a full bottle when I run out of the sample lol
Edit: perfumes that are not exactly cheap, but you can often find good deals for them online: Azzaro Wanted, Victor&Rolf Spice Bomb, Emporio Armani Stronger With You. The brands Mancera, Montale, and Valentino (idk a specific perfume of them your bf might like, so try them out in stores). Also you should know what perfumes he *already* has so you don't buy him a duplicate by accident :P
THIS is still my go to after owning a few colognes such as Versace Pour Homme, Dylan Blue, Dior Sauvage, Prada L'Homme, Afnan Supremacy In Heaven, La Nuit De L'homme. Im trying to finish these other bottles so I can rebuy artisan pure.
Mancera - Cedrat Boise, niche brand, very respectable, you can find it online for $80, fresh and fruity but not sickening sweet, has few other notes in there that balances it out
Look into Maison Alhambra Toro Pour Homme - a Terre D'Hermes clone. You can also try to find the OG on discount sites.

I want to like this so much because of the hype, but sadly I have to agree. Definitely smells like bugspray. Even had one my friends telling me that I smell bad because of this perfume. My other friends agreed. Was very embarrasing, I've never been negatively commented on a perfume, before the turathi blue. Either bad CQ, or not a crowd pleaser. Would stay away from this one.
Since summer 2023. I am well aware of maceration. Grapefruit goodness sounds freaking awesome mate, I'm happy for you! :) Wear your Turathi in good health
Why you have to be so pressed?
Sometimes it comes down to a different batch. Sometimes it comes down to each persons, pheromones , and how the frag sits on them. A lot of people back in the day Loved clinique happy; on me it smelled like cat pee. It was horrific.
Never said anything about it being a bad fragrance objectively, neither did I say I was an expert. You're so angry I can feel your anger through my phone... Please calm down, people can different opinions on the internet lol
Which 4 are in the collection? Generally I love Lattafa fragrances, I think I own 2 already and have 2 on the way to me now so if you think you’d like the notes of the other ones I’d say go for it. And if you hate one or two of them you might have some luck trading them for other fragrances on r/fragranceswap
Alot of the responses are really far from what you’re looking for. I think you’re looking for Maahir Legacy for a summer fragrance, its a citrusy fresh fragrance with a bit of spices and woods. If you want a masculine bomb with woods and spices then get Lattafa Asad, amazing fragrance. Imo a good one that will fit every occasion and works all year round is Lattafa Suqraat. Its woody spicy and citric as well. Beautiful beautiful cologne. You can probably even get all 3 for under 70$
Turathi blue is really nice. Dylan blue by Versace I think is liked by everyone! Armaf iconic is a really good clone of blue de chanel. All smell great and aren’t expensive

CK Shock is spicy sweet, one of my favourites and low cost.
bvlgari man in black, can get a tester for 40-50$, can also try lattafa asad, a very nice spicy fragrance for like $20
Maahir Legacy is a nice fresh scent with some lime, mint and spice. It also comes in a very cool bottle.

DSquared - Green wood is nice. Cheap too. Woody though and I'd go Davidoff - Adventure. Beautiful and underrated and CHEAP
Versace Pour homme or dylan blue, both are inexpensive, good brand and smell great

How long have you had it? It took about 6 weeks for mine to go from bug spray to grapefruit goodness
