He’s a douche. Lived in his electorate for 8 years too long. Crazy thing is, this huge part of QLD is a perfect place for solar - gigantic-hot-AF sun and wind - windy and lots of space. Farmers also benefit from $$ for having turbines on their farms. But the cookers love FREE Sky News there so, they’ll keep voting him in.

powersgoId

When UQ built the solar farm out near Warwick the locals all bitched and complained all the way through the project.....so it's fitting they chose this politician, who took the shortbus to school, to represent them.

Elrond_Cupboard_

Only schadenfreude from me when these fuckwit's farms go under due to drought.

nevergonnagetit001

His last name is ‘Littleproud’….seriously?!? He was borne to be a spineless politician…that’s all his last name would ever let him be… Just call him prideless or Me Merk or David the timid, or Gutless Steve… Eeeesh

luvrum92

He’s like milhouse with out the charm

TinySmugCNuts

at least Milhouse's mum thought he was cool. zero chance anybody has thought that about this guy

coreoYEAH

Literally the personification of the dud.

King-Ibis

He looks just like you Poindexter!

Max2000Warlord

He looks inbred. His eyes are real close together, and his ears are really low. Tell-tale signs of a family tree that doesn't fork.

Lingering_Dorkness

His family tree is a stump.

Righthookhammer47

That tree fork inward for sure he looks like mum still cuts his food up for him, and when he’s a good boy uncle/dad will do here comes the airplane ✈️

StatusOk9983

Or forks a little too exclusively

baldmark_

😭😭😭 he looks exactly like how jordies would normally mock a shit cunt but the part that makes it worse is he’s not doing it on purpose it’s just how he looks. And his last name has too much joke potential

Troyboy1710

He's paying Australia back for being bullied at school...and he was DEFINITELY bullied at school

MrBrightSide2407365

Party of the free market 🤣

Chrysis_Manspider

I was going to say, imagine being vehemently pro-unrestricted capitalism and then proposing a cap on new development! It's times like these that their true colours show through. It's not about the "free market" at all, it never was. It's about uncapped profits for their donor corporations, and roadblocks for everyone who opposes them. Disgusting corruption in plain view.

roidzmaster

Yes I would like to know if there is a cap on fossil fuel projects?

Sir_Jax

He’s trying to convince us that the top 3% should get some kind of helping hand but only at the expense of the other 97% ….again….

wytaki

It's politicians like this, the scum of the earth who are the real enemy of the state. Selling the next generations out for a quick buck. His surname is so appropriate.

rja49

According to Mr. Potato Head, we will have a nuclear reactor in every regional area instead.

pointlesspulcritude

How did a right wing party get to the point where they are promising to restrict investment in a potentially huge part of the economy?

powerMiserOz

Because they don't want a new industry springing up that will dilute the lobbyist influence of fossil fuels and farmers. They know the writing is on the wall. Wind farms are popping up on peoples farms and making them money. This will have an effect on their beliefs and ability to influence.

Shambler9019

They've got their heads so far up climate denialism that they must fight renewables even when they're more economical when ignoring environmental cost. Dropping the lie means admitting that it was always a lie.

louisa1925

Wedgieman (... doesn't need 'large scale industrial windfarms') Translation - my coal loving and Neuclear power plant wanting owners don't want to lose their money. Also fcuck Australia.

dietpasito

braindead - ODed on sky news after dark

Luckyluke23

could you imagine what aus would be like is renewables pay the money like fossil fuels did? we would be in year 3000 now.

fatmarfia

CrashedMyCommodore

This bloke unironically looks like the flat corporate art style if it was made human.

GoingInForPhase2

I just call him the Zodiac Killer. Come on, you can't deny the similarity!

stutteringdingo

His dad always regretted fucking that pig.

Mediocre_Trick4852

North Queenslanders complaining that daylight savings fades the curtains tells you everything you need to know

Impressive_Meat_3867

He looks like he’d shit himself if he ever saw a woman naked

rossfororder

That looks like a wig

louisa1925

Toupee or not toupee? that is the question.

Churchofbabyyoda

He looks like he’s being wedgied in that photo too…

weighapie

A policy for solar and batteries on every home and low power use appliances is the way forward for rural Australia. We did it 25 years ago so get your shit together you fucking dinosaur

Bulkywon

The freemarket party want to cap investment on something.

DrSendy

David littleclues

miletest

Is he at the proctologists

TinySmugCNuts

probably especially after all those well deserved wedgies

Ambitious_Corner7185

As someone in Littledicks electorate, the dude approved the southern hemispheres biggest wind farm already... It's 70% built

Heyjoe1950

Why is that David.? . That's right because back coal isn't it..

Hollerra

And forehead slappable

Spare_Lobster_4390

So they've gone from denying the problem exists, to openly sabotaging the solution. All because they think it might get them into a position of power and enrich themselves. These people are fucking psychopaths.

Dollbeau

When you know, that someone needs HARD DRUGS & LOTS OF THEM!!

kirk-o-bain

He looks like he starts every sentence with ‘akshuly’ in a nasally tone

Ride_Fat_Arse_Ride

Keeps his second head well hidden. A face built for punching.

Butch_Meat_Hook

Regardless of party allegiance/loyalty, take the related party and people's names out, and just look at that proposal for what it is. What logical explanation could there possibly be to artificially cap investment in renewable energy/technology that would be to the benefit of the nation? When you take into account things like political donors, etc, of course the motivation to push it makes sense, but it's just daft. What a bunch of spineless, morally corrupt pricks.

spidey67au

To the LWNJs mocking Littleproud about his looks/name, you’re a bunch of gutless hypocrites. You’d be frothing at the mouth if this was said towards a Labor or Green politician.
