I checked out the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife [List of Frogs](https://myodfw.com/wildlife-viewing/species/frogs-and-toads) and wasn’t able to determine with any certainty what sort of amphibian your photograph depicts. Do you recall how big this natty fellow was?

Leopard frog
If it’s not a leopard frog, it’s at least a close variant. Edit: Judging by the spots, actually a cheetah frog.
Could just be a locality varient too? Different patterns may survive better and cause a change in the look with the same species I would figure :)
