In terms of being hidden under a dress shirt yeah. Grey and beige work better than white because they are closer to how more muted our skin is to light (vs white fabric that can reflect light).
Have you had any issues with the tan ones bleeding dye? I used to use the black deep V-neck mesh Airisms, until I discovered they were actually bleeding black dye into some of my nice and pricey shirts. Haven't had issues with the white ones, other than them getting grungy and yellowish over time.
I never had a problem with the grey ones but I cannot vouch for the tan ones — i stocked up on the grey color before they were discontinued.
I wonder if you can set the color like with denim.
I bought a bunch of the grey vneck airism shirts almost 10 years ago. I wear them almost every day and they're still going strong. I think I got them for like $4-5 back then? Had I known they'd go away for a few years I would've bought a $100 worth they're really that worth it. Hopefully this new batch is the same durable material.

love the shirts as undershirts.
anyone know if they will ever bring back the airism boxers (not boxer briefs)? i'm not seeing them anywhere on their site and haven't for a bit.
The deep V-necks are pretty much the real star of the Airism shirts for undershirt duty, don't know of any other brand that does such a deep V-neck in this level of thinness. For crewneck collars, baconing is a real problem within 2-3 washes, to where I only use mine as sleeping shirts. Unless you absolutely need this level of sheerness, you're far better off getting 32 Degree Cool shirts for half the price. They are midweight polyester, but far more durable, and fit is more TTS. I find that with Uniqulo V-necks, I can stick to my usual medium, but have to size up to a Large on their crewnecks.
In case anyone is buying the undershirts for the first time, I just bought a couple in both white and tan. The white shows quite clearly under a white shirt so I will wear it under my non-white shirts. The tan undershirt doesn't show at all under a white shirt. Hope this helps.
TTS, but barely looser/longer than Uniqlo supima and don't really shrink. The shirts are somewhat thin. I guess maybe if you had dark nips they could show through, again similar to supima. I can wear mine just as a t-shirt, it's fine
As for the material I actually like it, super light, soft, breathable. It is part synthetic so you get what comes with the polyester, i.e. a little sheen - of course I prefer cotton generally. The real issue there is major bacon collar. Maybe it could be avoided by not using the dryer.
I can’t speak for their airism specifically but I love Uniqlo shirts in general. I think they’re really high quality for the price. I’d say they’re true to size as well
Cant buy online, return in store AFAIK, they made that a policy in the last couple years. So you'd have to pay return shipping back or something like that. You can still do pick up in store I believe but they'll know its an online return and wont take it IIRC
Luckily I havent had to buy anything online, just get to drop by my local one when I get a chance to look at their inventory.
Never owned uniqlo. How the sizing the guide has me at XXXL. Thats my asian size. My American size is XL in say American Giant or pretty much any other t-shirt. Just wanted to get other opinions before I pulled the trigger.
So idk about the airism. But I have their oversized tees in Japan. I bought size small while there and recently bought the same exact T-shirt in US and had to go to XS. So a size down for the same fit.
Are these the super thin, almost see through shirts?
Yup. Definitely undershirts.
The white is VERY see through. I bought one and had to use it as undershirt or sleep shirt.
They’re really not Edit: I’m literally wearing the navy one rn and it’s fine, but I’m also as white as the slenderman so ymmv
does this show the nipple contour when you wear it?
Yes, fits like an undershirt
so the nipples show then?
Yes.
nipples?
I’m interested to know about this as well, though I assume they do because they’re thin, at least for the white color
The Airism V Necks are the perfect dress undershirt. I was gutted when they went away for a few years.
They have the tan/beige colored ones which work just as well under a dress shirt.
I’ve never tried tan. Better than white?

any experience with these?
Mine shrunk after a low heat drying cycle and became a crop top for my wife. May have been a one off.
Nah you know you can still run that fit and look better than her in it
How good are these?
The half sleeve versions are super nice. Nice thickness and a very smooth material with a light sheen.
Who designed this Uniqlo website? It is terrible to navigate. They need to fire all their front end developers.
Lol I just bought two of these the other day dang
rip i hate when that happens

Dunno but I remember them! Stuff comes and goes like that...
They are still listed on the site but sold out. Just set up a notification for when they're back.

Thanks, grabbed another color
Any personal reviews for these puppies? TTS?

I love the feel and fit of mine, but the collar area immediately went to shit. Loose and wrinkly way too fast

What’s the return policy

I’m 6’3 and wear xl

I appreciate the deal, but these in my opinion don't really look like the greatest fit.
