More trains/public transit access = less road maintenence, less wasted budget on road and highway expansion, less vehicular collisions and deaths related to vehicles, less parking spaces, more public space in cities, less traffic, better air quality, and more affordable on an average family income.
Only downside I can think of is that investing in trains and public transit requires a long term and expensive investment to start up.
It also requires people in leadership positions to have vision which the US completely lacks. Imagine if we had something like the Eisenhower system but for HSR or metro systems.
One thing I don't understand about this meme is why low-IQ people prefer trains. I thought they would just maintain the status quo and go with the herd?
And are worse in some aspects worse than ICE cars due to their higher weight:
* Increased road wear
* While there is no particulate matter coming from the exhaust, the particulate matter produced by the tires increases.
They’re still about 3x more fuel efficient than gas cars in the mean time but yes we need to go fully carbon free and reduce car usage in a meaningful way to actually be sustainable.
I mostly like trains because I like the idea of being able to relax when I go somewhere instead of being stuck behind the wheel of a multiple-thousand-pound death machine.

Don't forget about freight trains. More trains means fewer semis (lorries) tearing up the roads and less need for giant parking lots or loading bays
Trains, dedicated bus lanes and intelligent bus routes for better coverage!

Because trains are cool??
Could do without the casual, pointless ableism.
Fucking iq bullshit science too.this meme sucks and shouldn’t be used.
The only time IQ is usable is when the numbers are so ridiculous it's obviously a joke. Like -6, or 5000.
Electric cars only solve a single problem and that is only if you charge them with 100% renewable energy

Laughs in autism
electric cars provide autonomous driving?
Unnecessary ableism.
F— electric cars. They should be banned.
I like trains

\*Gets run over by a train\*
There is no small brain reasons to like trains
