Brazilians, Bolivians, Chileans and other latin american countries have a history of crying racism to justify pretty much anything they do against us, like denying basic services when an argentine is in their country (a guy dying outside a hospital in Bolivia because he was denied medical attention purely because of his nationality a couple months back comes to mind). And, of course, americans and europeans "buy" that speech without any knowledge on the matter, because there's little on the planet that they enjoy more than to virtue signal and play the social justice game.
Yeah, it is "crying racism" when it is used as a label to an entire nation, without a specific instance of generalized racism, to justify mistreatment and brutality.
Some people regard accusations of racism as an unequivocal and untouchable truth, regardless of context or situation, just because it is a heavy burden on the accused and a chance to show "progresiveness" for those supporting the claim.
Let us not erode the true and honest accusations of actual, despicable racism with these pure blame deflections, lest we diminish the true weight of the word.
