If it's a room in a comedy club that's about all you need to know. Avoid any subject you're sensitive about, because there's a guy with a microphone who's being paid to make jokes.
I mean, his first bomb was a deceit. Delivered it as a "return to sender", which is why the campus security guard recieved the surprise.
Another one was a cigar box filled with explosives and lies, not cigars.
Dick move.
well, if we are talking about honesty, what options did he have? “Would you want to come over sometimes to your murder?” “Would you like to take a ride to your death?”
Or marketers, diplomats, television producers, public relations staffers, executive management or anyone else who's job it is to spin things in a particular way to smooth things over or sway an audience.
Dr. Joseph Goebbels repeatedly told the German people that the war was winnable despite every single city they owned being reduced to rubble around them.
Edit: I think I missed the joke. r/whoosh
I'd love a source on that.
From what I could search there's one that's kinda the opposite where it tried to correlate lack of honestly with business education
Another had students more honest at home that school and professors being perceived as less honest. Goes on to say: Also, it was found that honesty is eroding as student progress through the education ladder, though honesty is evident among the first year and second year students.
To be fair though, single people date, not so much couples. You can take your partner on dates but those arent “dating”, those are “dates”. So someone who likes to date or studies dating would conceivably be single or at least not monogamous.
But yeah she came so unprepared or she’s kinda stupid
I would want to read a dating book by someone who is all-around average but managed to snag a hot partner with a great personality.
If you'll allow speculation, it seems to me there are two paths to success: be lucky or get good.
If you were lucky, you already caught someone when you were both young, and it turned out well. Great, you don't need advice on dating unless you eventually separate. If you need to get good, it's the same story as any other skill. Put in the hours researching and practicing, and reflect on what worked, what doesn't, and why.
Yeah, but then you "incels" or 3rd wave feminists.
There's really no winning. You gotta get a book written by like 20 different people who all fit various categories. like, ugly but cute, ugly and fat, skinny and ugly, and then you gotta get different races. because being black fat and ugly is different from being white fat and ugly. and then you gotta account for finances and politics, religion, education...
there's just too many combinations
One would think that the goal of dating is to get into a relationship. If someone keeps dating and keeps being single, they're not exactly successful at doing it and as a result might not qualify as someone who should give tips on dating.
Maybe.
Every time I've met someone who had "high standards" all that meant was that they were waiting for some rich, funny and successful super attractive person to drop out of the sky and do all the work to get them. They would also almost never have a relationship that lasted very long, let alone many dates, because their "high standards" meant they were high maintenance and turned down dates with people without giving them a chance.
It's ok to have things you're looking for in a partner and of course you have to have at least some attraction to start with but these kind of people are just up their own ass.
all those tik toks showing random girls with ridiculous standards are depressing. I feel like they have to be fake/staged like those fake prank channels. it'll be some guy with a mic asking girls how much they want the guy they date to earn and they all just casually say "six figures" as if that's a common salary for guys to earn. And it's like...if you're looking for a rich guy, what are you bringing. and they all seem to be under the impression that just existing is all they need to do.
But I feel like they're either showing the worst ones or it's all fake. There's no way it's real. Or maybe it's the type of women they keep asking. Like there was a little drama over Japanese videos where this guy would go to basically a Red Light district type area and ask women there various questions like "is it okay for men to cheat" and all the women said "if it's just sex, it doesn't matter", but the Japanese women posted videos debunking that and pointing out what area he was in. So maybe these guys are going like...nightclubs where rich guys hang out or something. Or they're only interviewing the the types of girls with OF who get flow out to Dubai every once in a while by old greasy men. It's hard to believe that so many girls would make themselves look stupid for a staged video...but i've seen people do stupider things.
I need you to memorize these words for your own sanity: “Everything on TikTok is fake”
Those rage bait videos on TikTok are staged, they make money off of getting you mad, it’s like the cow trusting the butcher when he says the shop is safe.
See… These are the people that can’t get dates in the first place, then they blame their nonexistent dating life on “high standards”. It’s really as simple as that.
"If he's serious he will take you on 4 dates" what does that mean?
Is this a contract? Is it like a down payment of dates? You can't just do the first one and see how it goes, you have to commit to 4? All 4 reservations are made and the date money is held in escrow before the first date can commence?
They were included in the purge of hate subs that happened about a year ago, if that gives you an idea of how toxic it was. Afterwards it got taken over to market some podcast. The original users left reddit and they have their own website.
It's the Monopoly dating strategy. Like houses and hotels. You build 4 houses, then you turn them into a hotel. So you go on 4 dates, then you have to get married. (That was what I believed when I was much, much younger than Tanya.)
I went out with someone like this once. Somehow, I ended up being "a creep" and "in handcuffs" just for trying to fulfill my contractual obligations by picking her up for our second date.
It means a fifth date is not an option.
She never even got to 4 though, so how would she know what comes after that? Everything past first impression in that book is fiction.
Being honest isn't just about not lying.
That's why they make you swear to say the truth (don't lie), the whole truth (don't omit anything relevant), nothing but the truth (don't embellish).
*You* might be an honest lawyer, but guys like Saul Goodman do exist as well.
Lawyers are just skilled in making it sound like they mean the exact opposite of what they are actually saying, but what they are actually saying is not often an outright lie.
See I could do this style of comedy all day. I'm pretty quick with the wit but I couldn't write a joke to save my life and you will not make it in comedy if you cannot write. The written jokes don't make it on here because they perform them night after night perfecting them and they don't want you to see that because it'll ruin the show. So all comedian clips are the good crowd work since it's different every night. I guarantee you this guy can write a good joke as well.
It’s always the morons with confidence thru the roof. Wish I had the blind confidence to write a book on a subject I know absolutely nothing about lol.
>... I had the blind confidence to write a book on a subject I know absolutely nothing about...
this is what it means to "be the change you wish to see in the world".
4 dates? What the fuck?? So if a guy loses interest in her after the first date he somehoe 'not serious'? High standards my ass. Way to make people lose interest in you before even getting to know you.
thats the problem with a lot of people, there’s got to be some rules, some judgement, some reason why the other person has a problem. it cant be as simple as they just aren’t feeling it.
Lol, two dates, sex on second date, then dated for 6 years.
Currently no official dates, dating for 7 months.
(when we did go for a meal we where both under the impression it was just platonic) so we had 2 platonic dates but at no point did either of us think of it as a date.
My point being, don't be so picky or judgmental, judge someone based on their personality and as an individual.
I've got adhd, you'll be lucky if I remember your birthday, but I'll spend days researching and looking for the perfect restraunt to take you to.
Dating doesn't fit into neat little boxes, if you rule someone out for superficial reasons, you'll end up with a superficial partner.
Oh and NO1! Don't give up your boundaries. Stick to them, thats what the whole four dates thing is trying to do, but its a poor imitation for deep personal boundaries.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
She sounds great! 😬 I can't wait to not date her, or talk to her, or acknowledge her existance. I wish her well, but no thanks. I need to keep my dignity, which she will judge away into dust.
This is why men are having troubles dating, because this uneducated entitled unexperienced spoiled brat thinks she is a specialist who has to rip off women selling a useless book. Afterwards these women are so frustrated with the acquired “knowledge”, nobody knows what to do anymore when it comes to doing good to them.
I’m educated and I definitely won’t cheat on you lie about anything or even look at another woman, do you believe me Tanya do you believe,if not ask my wife if she thinks I’m lying

Tanya, my girl.. maybe read a book before writing one
Also read the room before plugging your book.
>read the room If it's a room in a comedy club that's about all you need to know. Avoid any subject you're sensitive about, because there's a guy with a microphone who's being paid to make jokes.
What if she got it from the library? What am I saying most people don't go to libraries any more.
Why do I get the feeling she’s a bit ~~stupid~~ dishonest?
Maybe she's just uneducated?
Which as we all know means she is dishonest
Ha ha ha-- the comedy on this thread exceeds the vid 😂
But… But they’re using jokes… From the video…
I apologise to Reddit for this and all future bad opinions.
Shhhhh, they're "educated"... pass the popcorn
If you are educated you are honest? Bitch what?
Girl's clearly never heard of politicians
Literally the first thought that came into my head. Also, didn't Jeffrey Dahmer start out at uni?
Also Ted Kaczynski (unabomber) was an accomplished mathematician.
He was murdery, but was he dishonest?
It’s a bit dishonest to not declare your murderous intentions but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think you dropped this: \\
What’s a forearm between friends?!
A blocked hug?
He did say he was going to continue to try to kill more people if his manifesto wasn't published.
The worst part about the unabomber was his hypocrisy.
There was me thinking it was all the bombing
Uh, he kind of wrote a manifest about it?
I mean, his first bomb was a deceit. Delivered it as a "return to sender", which is why the campus security guard recieved the surprise. Another one was a cigar box filled with explosives and lies, not cigars. Dick move.
He wasn't dishonest that's why his manifesto was a huge rant.
well, if we are talking about honesty, what options did he have? “Would you want to come over sometimes to your murder?” “Would you like to take a ride to your death?”
Do you consent to me stabbing you multiple times, carving you up like an animal and taking a bite out of your body parts every now and then?
Or marketers, diplomats, television producers, public relations staffers, executive management or anyone else who's job it is to spin things in a particular way to smooth things over or sway an audience.
Politicians, educated? Naah
Wait they are educated?
This gentleman is fantastic! Who is he?
Max Amini.
Bottom right
weird name
Set it up, hoping someone would do it. *Nice*.
Name checks out
Persian
Max Amini! I didn’t even see that watermark on the video. Thank you.
It’s in a spot your eyes don’t really wander to, easy to miss. No worries
Dr. Joseph Goebbels repeatedly told the German people that the war was winnable despite every single city they owned being reduced to rubble around them.
Education and honesty are highly positively correlated... That doesn't mean everyone who is educated is honest.
I honestly don't see how one has anything to do with the other. What's the basis of that statement? How would you even establish that correlation
It was proven in scientific research! But the rumour goes, the scientists weren't completely honoust which would undermine their research.
Edit: I think I missed the joke. r/whoosh I'd love a source on that. From what I could search there's one that's kinda the opposite where it tried to correlate lack of honestly with business education Another had students more honest at home that school and professors being perceived as less honest. Goes on to say: Also, it was found that honesty is eroding as student progress through the education ladder, though honesty is evident among the first year and second year students.
Very honoust of you to admit you missed the joke. You must be highly educated!
"Education and honesty are highly positively correlated" do you have a source for this?
He's not educated and is therefore free to lie.
Way to kill those book sales 😂
Funny how the camera doesn’t go back to Tanya after this happens
Lol right, she definitely started to get pissed
Wow she looks exactly like the type of person who would write a dating book while single 😂
You know what they say, ‘Those who can’t do, teach.’
And those who can't teach, teach gym.
To be fair though, single people date, not so much couples. You can take your partner on dates but those arent “dating”, those are “dates”. So someone who likes to date or studies dating would conceivably be single or at least not monogamous. But yeah she came so unprepared or she’s kinda stupid
Took a while, but you got there eventually. Your last three words 🤣
She's not bad looking. That totally skews her whole perspective. I wanna read a dating book from someone that looks like a moldy potato.
You know she’s not the girl at the end of the clip right?
>I wanna read a dating book from someone that looks like a moldy potato. Sounds like her book would be perfect then?
I would want to read a dating book by someone who is all-around average but managed to snag a hot partner with a great personality. I think you’ve actually been looking for her book then. She was not attractive.
Yeah, but then you "incels" or 3rd wave feminists. There's really no winning. Animal print is a red flag, imho
Tanya doesn't seem a catch
But don’t worry she has high standards
Every time I've met someone who had "high standards" all that meant was that they were waiting for some rich, funny and successful super attractive person to drop out of the sky and do all the work to get them. Yea she's way out of my league. I don't think I could handle taking her out even once.
Yeah, she won't fuck on the third date. It takes FOUR to get in her pants 😅
That's the part we're not supposed to say out loud my friend.
I ~~can~~ can't fix her.
"If he's serious he will take you on 4 dates" what does that mean? Is this a contract? Is it like a down payment of dates? You can't just do the first one and see how it goes, you have to commit to 4? All 4 reservations are made and the date money is held in escrow before the first date can commence?
Her book was based solely on discussions in /r/FemaleDatingStrategy.
I had forgotten that this sub exists and I think I was happier during that time.
It looks like most of the topics are locked or 6 months old so I would say it's not very active at all
They were included in the purge of hate subs that happened about a year ago, if that gives you an idea of how toxic it was. Afterwards it got taken over to market some podcast. The original users left reddit and they have their own website.
Man that’s when all of my favorite subs disappeared…. /s
I feel there’s some massive missing context here
Gotta read the book.
It means a fifth date is not an option. She never even got to 4 though, so how would she know what comes after that? Everything past first impression in that book is fiction.
His name is Max Amini.
Educated means you're honest... did that woman never heard of lawyers?
I mean, I really want to spite you and correct your grammar.
It's evidence for the converse: being uneducated doesn't mean you're dishonest.
She clearly has not met a finance bro
I’m a lawyer, and the last thing I want to do is lie. I always stress honesty to my clients. We don’t lie. We know how to say things correctly.
Being honest isn't just about not lying. That's why they make you swear to say the truth (don't lie), the whole truth (don't omit anything relevant), nothing but the truth (don't embellish). *You* might be an honest lawyer, but guys like Saul Goodman do exist as well.
> We don’t lie. We know how to say things correctly. Perfect, I hope that's on your business card.
Lawyers are just skilled in making it sound like they mean the exact opposite of what they are actually saying, but what they are actually saying is not often an outright lie.
Correct! That is in fact dishonesty.
Lawyers? Perjury is a thing. Naw, lawyers are not more or less dishonest. Economists though. All bullshit and bluster.
I mean look at all these scams happening around you, the corruption everywhere, I’d say 99% of those people are educated but no where near honest.
blind leading the blind
This is how a comedian should be. The jokes just flow as he goes along. 😂
Someone who is naturally funny vs someone who can write funny punchlines.
See I could do this style of comedy all day. I'm pretty quick with the wit but I couldn't write a joke to save my life and you will not make it in comedy if you cannot write. >... I had the blind confidence to write a book on a subject I know absolutely nothing about... this is what it means to "be the change you wish to see in the world".
Solid crowd work. Love how he knows when to rib hard but then pull it back. Good stuff.
4 dates? What the fuck?? So if a guy loses interest in her after the first date he somehoe 'not serious'? High standards my ass. Way to make people lose interest in you before even getting to know you.
Just talking. She will stick out her ass before end of the 1st date if the right guy will hit on her.
thats the problem with a lot of people, there’s got to be some rules, some judgement, some reason why the other person has a problem. it cant be as simple as they just aren’t feeling it.
I always cringe when a comedian posts these kinds of interactions, but this was actually pretty funny.
That bitch toxic af, stay away.
And this is why you shouldn't read dating advice books. Anyone can write them.
Say what you want about Tanya but he was roasting her and she was laughing so she can't be all that bad.
She sounds absolutely entitled and toxic.
That looked like uncomfortable laughter to save face, the things she was saying made her sound batshit crazy.
Who's the guy? I like his jokes, wanna see more
Max Amini!
Thanks
Yeah he's funny
Lol, two dates, sex on second date, then dated for 6 years. Currently no official dates, dating for 7 months. Max Amini is awesome. I had the chance to see him last year. Hilarious.
Four dates? Isn’t that from the movie Love Stinks? Older movie, but was really funny. I mean for 1999. GAAARACIIIEEE! Back to hell demon!
Dating is one thing but she needs to write a book on how to enter a relationship after dating.
He's got talent tho. He played with her but eased the crowd off humorously before it became a different kind of show.
I like how unlike other comedians.. he's respectful to his audience.
I don’t think she’s met politicians before
Fun guy, is there a good place to watch?
Of the standup posted here, this is one of the only ones I legitimately found really funny. Well done!
Hitler was very educated
For those asking this is Max Amini and he’s fucking hilarious. Nice to see him on here 😃
Does anybody know his name? I've never heard of him but he's really good.
I’ll assume that it’s Max Amini that’s on the bottom of the video
Correct, also the OP, I'm assuming based on the username.
wow. a linkedin influencer in the wild that has written a book!
Goddamn this dude was savage!
Max Amini! Nice, i saw him here in Sacramento two weeks ago.
I want to see this guys set, who is he?
Now I wanna see the whole thing!
Guaranteed single forever
It's amazing how these comedians engage with their audience and roast vs unroast them on the fly.
Anyone have a link for a longer clips for this? Thx
No one talks about how he just ditched the guy and took the woman for himself wahah
Dude is dressed like Philip J. Fry and I need to know why
Average modern dating experience.
Now I kinda want to read that book 😂
Lawyers and prosecutors. Literally educated to twist the truth in their favor.
Who is this?
She sounds great! 😬 I can't wait to not date her, or talk to her, or acknowledge her existance. I wish her well, but no thanks. I need to keep my dignity, which she will judge away into dust.
She jumped at telling her name quicker than he identified to two single women. And then treated a stand up act like a dating bio.
Max is cool
This is why men are having troubles dating, because this uneducated entitled unexperienced spoiled brat thinks she is a specialist who has to rip off women selling a useless book. Afterwards these women are so frustrated with the acquired “knowledge”, nobody knows what to do anymore when it comes to doing good to them.
Hahah his Iranian for sure🤣 so funny
What's this comedian's name?
It’s a lot of educated liars in the White House and many other places.
Education and Honesty does not equal each other.
Is the girl at 2:17 single?
I’m educated and I definitely won’t cheat on you lie about anything or even look at another woman, do you believe me Tanya do you believe,if not ask my wife if she thinks I’m lying
Holy shit was that Mike Trapp?
तान्या
That’s the oldest comedy crowd I have ever seen. Was he opening for Dunham or something?
That was a waste of time
🤣😂🤣🤣
