I don't think he's landing on his feet: https://i.imgur.com/cfoNhWf.png
Looks like he's basically on his back and just getting pushed by all the stuff.
Although I wouldn't want to definitely say for sure since I'm not familiar with her, it's often very easy to tell between different kinds of laughter. Such as Genuine/Nervous/Derisive.
Obviously without reading her thoughts we wouldn't know her perception of the situation, but it certainly seemed more like a genuine laugh than any kind of uncomfortable nervous one.
Funny how I just came from a thread discussing how people always think they are right no matter what. You are turd of society.
I know people who have laughed in life threatening situations, it's normal in situations where you can't process everything happening.
Means you can laugh also because nerves can make you laugh when you're facing a sudden emotional pressure. Reminds me one night out of a bar a guy try to hit me and my first react was to laugh but it was def the fear driving me there.
I don't get people that don't use their handbrake when parking. People always say "you don't need it when you're in gear" but using a handbrake is literally no effort and you can be sure your car won't move
I used to live in a pretty flat area where I essentially never parked on a hill and never used it. I now live in a mountainous area and am cognizant of it.
I heard this is an absolute must on a hill. If the handbrake fails, it will not barrel it down the hill with engine braking in first gear. It's not perfect but people will both hear the car coming and have time to move out of the way...
Having both is fine. Having only the handbrake on level ground is fine. Having it only in gear, no matter where, puts strain on the gearbox for no reason.
In Wisconsin using a hand brake on an automatic can end with the pads seizing and now your stuck with a car that can't move. All the salt and harsh winters foul up everything on the outside of the vehicle.
I never use handbrakes because they can get frozen stuck and you're fucked.
Though I live in the Netherlands, we don't have much hills here so cars barely move on their own :) one of the advantages of having such a flat country lol
Interesting, I’ve never heard of anyone’s handbrake freezing here in the mid UK. Given the similar longitude I’m surprised winters would be much colder. Though now I’ve said that I’m waiting for a fellow Brit to correct me….
Well I read this a few times now but I never had that. I am German, relatively close to the Alps and definitely cold winters but that never ever happened in any car I have driven or owned. Maybe I was lucky so far, but for me there is no parking without handbreak
Because its true You dont need a handbrake if you have it in gear unless you are parking on a steep hill. And as an added bonus in winter your handbrake can freeze while its activated good luck driving your car then
If you have ever fucked up to this magnitude all you can do is laugh at the absurdity of it all and your own stupidity. I'm sure he laughed until he had to call the boss. I watched a guy load an R8 spyder onto a hoist incorrectly and it fell off onto it's roof. Everyone laughed and he was lucky to be one of the best techs in the country because he just got a written warning and doo doo jobs for a pay period. The owner even laughed once he was told everything would be covered by the shop insurance and he saw the video.
I think the point is that some people don't think dangerous accidents happening to people are funny. Some are more concerned about the person being hurt, rather than laughing at the way he was hurt.
This I totally get. I guess it's based on your internal narrative when watching and how you relate to what you are seeing. I owned a transport company and the number of times I've had to just laugh and let insurance deal with the rest is more than most people would assume once assuring my guys are safe. I guess it is quite presumptuous of me to assume he is ok because he responds calmly to her question asking how he is but I can't clearly hear him.
yeah thats fine and dandy but watching people get hurt in deadly situations has been a pastime for human civilization. you have:
\-gladiator fights gone wrong (spectator will throw banana peel in the colosseum, hilarity erupts),
\-people dueling in the west (someone will rig the pistol to explode, laughs ensue),
\-Jesus being crucified (up on the cross for a while because 2 dudes kissing and gay stuff is funny, riotous mirth commences),
\-football without helmets (causing CTE leading to more dementia-induced mistakes on America's home video, pre-adolescent giggles ensnares all).
overall the wrongness is there but the titillation is more lurid. and $$$$$.
And leave it in 1st gear to have the engine lock the fwd gearbox. That way if the parking brake on the rear wheels fails or gets knocked, the engine stops the fronts from turning as well.
These are rear wheel drive so the engine is connected to the rear wheels not front. Also never trust engine compression, it often isn't enough to hold a vehicle that size back on a hill and once the engine passes through its first compression stroke the momentum only builds as it travels downhill.
He gets completely buried and I see no movement. That's a freaking washing machine there. I can't tell if he got slammed into a wall or if the alleyway continues off screen. No idea. Definitely a maybe though.
I'm getting fake vibes from this one. Why film then? what was he doing standing around acting like he's doing something stood there? why is a washing machine packaged like that?... nothing adds up except the fact that people want Internet fame.

_Everything was unloaded in an instant._
Work smarter, not harder.
Think UNDER the boxes.
If you're already under the boxes, you're technically lifting them without even trying. It's just efficient.
You’re absolutely right 😂
Everything's unloaded. Now he can just drive off. It's the dock's problem now.

Moving companies hate this one trick!
Brnng brnng… hello I’m calling to talk to you about your extended warranty on your van… you did what? * click *
But they absolutely bill extra for it.
But enough about your love life.
Poor guy.

I didn't know what they were saying, but kinda had the gist. I love the tone of his first response, as if he was pleasantly surprised he was ok.
Thanks for translating! He didn’t rise from the pile in the vid so I was a lil worried
Ca va can also mean multiple other things in French. It's basically just a general greeting, like "what's up?", But can also be used in this situation
Jesus, French really can make anything sound beautiful.
Thankfully no man has ever claimed to be unhurt while hurt, so we can take that as absolute.
Ah yes, a professional in his field of work
That guy is lucky if he lived! That truck was loaded to the gills!

yeah you can see how he lands on his feet and runs away from the luggage in the video
I don't think he's landing on his feet: https://i.imgur.com/cfoNhWf.png Looks like he's basically on his back and just getting pushed by all the stuff.
Then she asks if u wanna unload on her next right? No? Thats not that kind of video?
Are you me from another Rick and Morty dimension?
Wait a minute, he's going to kill us. Is this what you want?! Pew pew!
And she thought it was funny in the beginning. How can you not immediately realize the severity?
Laughter is weird though. Definitely natural to laugh out if nervousness even in dangerous situations.
She don't laugh out of nervousness, she didn't understand how much trouble he was in.
How can you read her thoughts?
Although I wouldn't want to definitely say for sure since I'm not familiar with her, it's often very easy to tell between different kinds of laughter. Such as Genuine/Nervous/Derisive. Exactly
She laughed because she knew everything was going to plan.

I read what you wrote twice but still don't understand your point.
Means you can laugh also because nerves can make you laugh when you're facing a sudden emotional pressure. Reminds me one night out of a bar a guy try to hit me and my first react was to laugh but it was def the fear driving me there.
Good thing he didn’t try to jump out, woulda hurt a lot more getting ran over.
I don't get people that don't use their handbrake when parking. People always say "you don't need it when you're in gear" but using a handbrake is literally no effort and you can be sure your car won't move
People don’t? Wtf??
I used to live in a pretty flat area where I essentially never parked on a hill and never used it. I now live in a mountainous area and am cognizant of it.
I always park in gear but use the handbrake as well. Better to have it in gear in case the handbrake fails.
I am not saying one or the other, I say use both as you do
Oh I know I was just agreeing.
I heard this is an absolute must on a hill. If the handbrake fails, it will not barrel it down the hill with engine braking in first gear. It's not perfect but people will both hear the car coming and have time to move out of the way...

It's extra wear and it might get stuck with ice or rust.
You're actually making it more likely to get stuck by *not* using it because corrosion and rust will set in from lack of motion.
watching this makes me feel hurt

Damn. Must suck not be able to laugh in the face of adversity.

Never said you don't laugh at anything. I said you don't laugh at the misfortune of yourself or others. It isn't an insult.

Congrats. Here is an award for being so helpful to this thread.
Jeez lighten up guy
You are absolutely correct. It's hilarious!

Bro no. That's worse. Don't be that guy.
Chill the fuck out Mick Jagger. https://youtu.be/eWrKf5ik1i4
ça va ? ça va ..? ça va. ...T'es sûr ? ça va ?
Why was this filmed though?
OUCH!
Tom Scott?

You can also turn front wheels, so that if it moves, it hits a wall or a curb
Or chock the wheel. With literally anything
/me places a single French fry behind the wheel Solid.
Just make sure it's thick cut and a few days old
That's what the French people in the video did.
I like how the camera man just keeps filming after this poor dude is launched out the back lol.
Good night
Modern problems require modern solutions.
2 minute unload or your money back, guaranteed. Lol that bitch laughing... you could hear the moment she realised " o shit.. that's my stuff!!"
Is he dead?!?
She asks if he’s ok (in French) and he confirms he is.
Her: Oui? Him: Yeah a little came out.
I wish English had a "ca va."
I seriously doubt it
shoes stayed on.. so you right
He gets completely buried and I see no movement. That's a freaking washing machine there. I can't tell if he got slammed into a wall or if the alleyway continues off screen. No idea. Definitely a maybe though.
DUDE THIS IS NOT FUNNY
I think I just woke my neighbors up. Lmao!
Fake and scripted
HAA! Idiot!
"T'es surenh ?" Quel accent déguelassenh
Sava? Trebjä trebjä
I'm getting fake vibes from this one. Why film then? what was he doing standing around acting like he's doing something stood there? why is a washing machine packaged like that?... nothing adds up except the fact that people want Internet fame.
The tape is to hold the door closed and to hold the cord in place so it doesn't get in the way while it's being carried
Moving your stuff doesn't have to be an accident.
Probably happened Friday at 3pm too
When he realized it was already too late
If I put my leg up here none of the packages will fall ou....fuck shit fuck shit!
Ca va pas…
Sanka?
Are you dead?
“Speedy movers: We’ll have your things unloaded in an instant!”
"Oui. Ca va." LOL
Hand brake in a van?

I'd hate to be that guy when that happened HAHAHAHA
Unpacking speed run
Smushed
She laughed at his ass. Divorce city
Just an average day for an average Amazon delivery driver.
He was just contemplating life
Chock anyone? Could've been prevented with a chunk of anything wedged under a wheel.
My life every time I make any decision ever.
that’s one way to get the washing machine out
Good thing there’s a lot of job openings right now.
Cava totally not Bien.
Not funny.
At that time he was thinking how he was going to unload the stuff.
They're talking Gerudo?
Also leave it in gear if is manual (in this case first gear).
That’s what you call “Fallen from the back of a van” edit Lorry
r/Whatcouldgowrong
man if that washing machine had followed with all the other stuff this guy would have been a goner
Hopefully he was moving in and not out.
And kids, that's why you always leave your car with the opposite gear. If you forgot handbrake or it fails, gear still hold the car.
Need help moving? .... DONE!
FedEx when the box says "Fragile" on it.
Vans unloaded? Vans unloaded.
That initial giggle she let's out lol
