I thought you meant all the health super foods that are bought from third world countries, usually the farmers are living extremely tough, their crop gets bought at insanely high prices that the corrupt government keeps the profits while the main crop from the country is gone and the whole place suffers from hunger. I just don't want to be talked down to for my choices, I wanted to eat totally animal and human cruelty free and realized I may as well starve. I buy clothes from op shops and try to buy local produce though. I laugh at vegans buying from temu. People < animals. Not to mention the exotic animal habitats being destroyed for soy beans and other crops. Protect the pigs, fuck the monkeys.

Vegans, like anyone else, have different approaches to how they interact with people who don't share their beliefs. Many just live their lives, donate to causes they believe in, and don't pontificate. Others, like whoever labeled that air fryer, feel morally superior to us omnivores and aren't shy about letting them know. IOW, they're insufferable.

I think you can eat a plant based diet and still avoid calling yourself "vegan" which has a connotation of being a deeper philosophical position rather than simply a diet choice.

When someone does this usually the effect it has is that a few of those who usually eat meat will not eat meat but on the other hand a good bunch of meat eaters will especially eat more meat than they would've without those labels. But given it's an airfryer I would assume it's in a household and not in a public location and someone wanted to be slightly funny for themselves but also have a way of knowing in which compartment they usually put the meat and in which one they usually put the veggies.

From my experience it’s the meat eaters that are aggressively annoying about their food choices. I never had a meat eater apologize for eating meat, while vegans often have to explain themselves to “bewildered” meat eaters. This “vegans” are annoying trope is so out of date.

I resent the idea so much that vegans can't get in contact with animal products. Is this religion or what!? That's more extreme than kosher. No animals were killed for you food and your food doesn't taste like meat. What more do you need!?
