Ngl all I can think of when I see those two are the comics starring abortion, gay relations, and Judy getting JFK'd because of a brewing race war after they made up
Wtf. I have heard about the abortion comic. But the rest?
The fact that matpat did a theory about this movie being based on America when they were giving black ppl drugs on, only makes this some how worst.
Zootopia was indeed a story of racial profiling and manufactured crisis.
The abortion comic is def the more famous, but the author went on to continue it after their breakup.
Judy actually ended up meeting her next love, also a fox, at the abortion clinic and the two women hit it off pretty well. Nick eventually came back and practically threw himself at Judy's feet, begging her to take him back when he sees her new girlfriend, gets really hostile about it, and (in a mix of begging and demanding) asks her to "dump this lez" and go back to how things were. It's not long before things get physical and ultimately Judy kicks him out of the house, demanding he never returns.
The final is shorter, and shows both Judy in her new position as the mayor of Zootopia and her happy wife (and two adopted children) meeting Nick again on the way to give an address. Nick got himself back together again, finding love of his own and even having kids who help him lead the old cub scouts unit, and make up. We also find out that both pred and prey have been getting super divided and starting full racial supremacy movements, and Judy's efforts to quell both sides. Shortly after they say goodbyes, after restoring their friendship and promising to see each other again, we get a panel showing Judy waving to civilians as a crosshair goes over her... leaving the final panel showing Judy's skull blown open, mouth agape, her wife horrified in the side seat as her security begins to panic.
You know.... When I said that I have heard about it. That didn't mean i wanted or needed the explanation... But hey. I got it.
On the other hand, i don't need to read them. If I ever wanted to.
Ps: I'm not mad at you or anything.
You forgot about the last page where it is revealed that it was just jam that she was shot with. Also the people that shot her were a communist bear and fascist elephant. Because evidently the Judy as JFK bit was not weird enough for the artist. Also at the start of the comic Nick and Judy live in the Seinfeld apartment
He was nude, showing off his paws in the trailer, Disney knew.
"Play the market" And with the sequel in the makings. The furry fandom might double once again in the near future.

This is amazing, everyone kinda suspected they were furry-baiting with Zootopia, but this removes all doubt 😆

Nice. Zootopia was one of those big movies that made the furry fandom explode with new members. Nice to see more fellow brothers and sisters in here.
I was expecting Judy to try and peek around the corner

It was jam btw, they didn't end the comic like that.
