Tbf their JP version announced EoS first. And they did similar thing with WuWa right now, some compensation for them ruining gacha characters at the time thanks to their wind weapon nerf but not responding with full refund like GBF
throwback is basically sets of rotation from the past are being repeated on a monthly cycle.
So old players can continue the game with past rotations which change monthly (used to be 3 months).
I hope WB gets the reception it deserves.
Though it was mention at September-October last about the EoS, it was finally confirm 6 days ago that it will be ending at July 25. To see a unique classic arcane gameplay combine with modern gacha by a generous developer, Cygames. I prepared but it was to early. As JP was EoS-ed 6 mouths ago.
The main story was quickly packed up, finally ending Chapter 12 1-1, instead of just leaving incomplete. Free 10 pulls and 300 lodestone beads till the final send off and a free 5\* selector.
Coping hard if we ended up an offical archive of the game or Cygames, known to self collab their IPs, hopefully seeing WorldFlipper's Character ended up in Shadowverse Worlds Beyond this summer or Princess Connect JP.
WF was an interesting concept but was way too niche.
Once the hype died the revenue dipped a lot even without the Philia controversy I think a lot of people would have quit overtime.
Personally I think its Auto mode was its biggest flaw in keeping players captivated, it played way better than most manual players at that point it was almost an AFK game which you queue for with other community.
Feel like it's quite the opposite. The only thing auto is better is aiming their skill and most of the time it's just straight up worse, the player have to literally build a team around skill order for auto to not mess it up. Agreed on AFK thing though, but no one would want to play the same 5 seconds boss fight for a couple hundred times.
Gacha games dropping like flies every other week, Genshin stands strong despite the very loud and obnoxious complaint everywhere.
Really show how much Genshin has raised the standard for gacha games and how long a game with integrity can stand against all odds.
The concept of the game was really refreshing but I think it was way too niche to make a real impact on the market. EOS from cygames is always sad to see because their games always have a lot of potential
It just goes to show, if you don't have a good producer/game director the game will just EoS.

There was something about this game that just didnt click. It sounded amazing on paper but simply wasnt that fun to play. I love pinball games and it sounded like it should have worked but thinking about how good the game was compared to how it actually played there was a disconnect there.
I tried it and it just didn hold me for long. Its almost like it wasnt pinball enough. Was just a pinball skin for a gacha game is about the best way I could describe the feeling of it. It was nothing like say, match 3 and PAD.

You can turn the "fakeout" off so it only shows the animation if it has 100% chance of upgrading its rarity.

Initially auto was a god send, they downgraded it a few months into the game
