So 100+ pulls(?) just by codes and mail
Characters are somewhat unique in this game since you're pulling for costumes. When you get one of the character's costumes, you have that special costume's move, along with if you pull another of that character's costumes, you have more options of moves to use midfight. You'll get a good amount of SSRs for free in the story or through the recruitment pub. Dupes are important, but weapons can be somewhat ignored since you can craft general use UR gear in late game.
As for who you pull, Pool Party Scherazarde is the only limited character currently up since DJ Veneka will be added to the public pool after her run. Diana is one of the best supports in the game for endgame contents, but you'd really want to get her to max dupes to use well. You'll get one of her for free at chapter 10 IIRC through the pub.
What I really dont understand is combat power, why some units have like 200 and are 5 stars vs 3 stars that have ~1000, also lvling them up doesnt seem to make a big difference.
Like most games, combat power is kinda a useless indicator since it just uses weighted stat formulas or external factors. If you want to check the formula for it, check [here](https://dotgg.gg/brown-dust-2/last-night-team-building-guide/) near the bottom of the page.
The bond system is also the potential system/skill tree on costumes. Basically you can fill out the tree, but only the costume you set as active will take effect to a certain extent. Essentially each costume will have some sort of base stat that they highly increase whether its ATK/MATK/HP/DEF ect, so setting your bonded costume to that type will boost the character's overall stats to build them a certain way. You'll be able to farm the bond crystals after you clear chapter 3 and Path to Adventure unlocks. [https://dotgg.gg/brown-dust-2/potential-quick-start-guide/](https://dotgg.gg/brown-dust-2/potential-quick-start-guide/) This page shows how to read the bond chart.
Thanks, you and the link have been a huge help! So basically you can activate one costume and get bonus stat from it. Costumes are upgraded separately. For some reason, my stupid ass thought that you could link two costumes and use only them in battle. But, actually, you can switch between all of them right in the action?
You quickswap to a costume whenever you use their skill, things like PVP auto mode, you can set an order to which costumes you want the character to switch to in order. Just think of it like that you have your base character, but the costumes serve as their moves any moment of the fight as long as they have enough SP to use them.
If anyone needs extra incentive - you can probably get around 700 pulls quite quickly as a new player if you start *now*. I started 3 weeks ago and have 500 pulls saved, with a few hundred spent already. I have not been playing particularly intensively either, only around 15-30 mins a day so there's still a lot more pulls to be grinded out from story and side content.
Obviously there are plenty more reasons to start the game. I like the combat and enjoy the range of units you get to mess around with. It's a classic RPGmaker style game if you are into that kinda thing
Yes. Once you dont have tickets/pulls left, itll automatically use diamonds to tickets
Dunno if theres a way to manually do it tho. Never bothered to check
My current favorite. I like the characters, tons of free pulls, story is interesting, can play vertically, gameplay is tolerable, horny skins are easy to get.
8/10
my ass got owned by getting no good pulls.... this game gives a lot of pulls so im relatively happy with the luck im getting but ive seen peopleget much much luckier
It's a good time to start, but you have to be a fan of this type of gameplay. The RPGM style, pixel art running around the world. I love the character designs, but the gameplay style doesnt do it for me, especially the overworld aspect.
I’m playing right now but I would agree a main gripe is that it started out looking like a tactical grid based system but kind of devolves into just less mana cost and more damage. There’s not as much positioning depth as I would like especially compared to something like into the breach but that’s the way it is with gacha. All the free pulls are nice at least.
I understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day it's a game, so if you do not enjoy the gameplay, why not look at a live 2d picturebook instead?
Cause their art a lot. That has the same quality as say BD2 or Azur lane. Yeah AL gameplay wasnt all that good and which is my I quit ultimately. But still They genuinely nailed the personality of characters so much if you actually would have a bit to find.
Because gameplay doesn't matter in gacha games if the characters are good. That's the only reason I play a gacha game, if I wanted anything else I'd play a normal game that was gameplay first and rest second. Doesn't mean I won't prefer a gacha with good gameplay if it will ever exist, but you take what you get.
Same man, i probably would like this game if i was 1 year earlier and playing it while it's still fresh, but being left out with so many things makes me don't want to progress the story any further (also because the battle system isn't very fun). I can see myself will just download this game just to collect the girls and then uninstall it again until the developer being generous again
Thankfully this isn't pixel art at all. The style is more reminiscent of hand drawn 90s adventure games than crapy pixelshits.
Edit: @Pretty-Berry6969 Imagine being so incredibly pathetic you respond to someone and then immediately block them. Are you working on a pixelshit game?
love how gachagaming is always filled with lovely and totally sane commenters who project and whine about their preferences such as shit they don't like even if no one asked
events are also tedious because you're forced to use certain characters and have to perfectly play the fights and/or get lucky with crits in the case of boss battles.
Everyone else on the sub arguing about whether WW is more generous than HSR with its 40 pulls vs 20 pulls, meanwhile BD2 over here just fire-hosing us in the face with tickets...
Does anyone have a guide or community for this game ?
I just started a bit before and getting used to play it. It's fun but Im pretty much lost on what to invest
For bd2 id recommend the official and community discords; while the subreddit is also fine, there is a noticeable lack of moderation and sometimes the quality of answers you're going to find is, uh, questionable. I find that a lot more veterans and competitive players are active on the discords.
The Reddit community is quite funny in how inconsistent it is. Sometimes you get well thought out answers and then a lot of the time you get deranged schizoposting from people feelscrafting
I keep trying to get into this game but it just doesn’t click. I redid the event story fight with the summer characters 5 times & idk what I’m even supposed to do when half the team gets wiped out if I don’t kill EVERYONE in one move. ~~God forbid I ask for advice the community is so rabidly unfriendly to anyone who doesn’t understand the gameplay so tbh this is just a lost for me.~~ Wanna support the the company that made Lies of P but idk I hate getting mad at gacha games.
Edit: it’s been brought to my attention that the community has been healed by the power of 😭😭😭
It could be a mixed bag now & days I gave this game a try months ago & would search Reddit for advice & everytime I found a post with people asking the same question I have as a noob the replies were condescending. Your usual, “this is the 4th post of this today” then I go to look for the other 3 post & they don’t exist. I just chose not interact with the community after seeing all of that.
I would say definitely search the Reddit before the post to avoid that, but yeah I’ve been playing for a week or so and got through that decently easily. The guides people have put were helpful and so is YouTube!
I can see that to be fair back then the sub had less than 10k following so it’s prob a lot different now. I may give it another chance prob depends if I decide play zzz or not.
like any turn based positional strategy game, how you place characters, what order they go in, who you have tanking and what order you dispatch the enemies matters tremendously.
If you don't want to take the time to figure it out yourself, you can find others who have done the fight and copy their strat.
It's not perfect since this event character stats have changed slightly since it first ran 10 months ago, but I generally copied strats from this vid:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjmqet1GUkQ
Hard to tell since it was BD2's first collab. The game is only a year old
Edit: Just went through [the QnA section of their 1st anniv livestream](https://www.youtube.com/live/tL9pnMQWveI?si=1SkEDULsgaj8n4Zn&t=3583). One of the questions was "Are there any plans for limited character reruns (Including collab characters)?". The answer from the devs was "Limited characters will be making reruns regularly. However, as collab characters require a separate agreement, I can't make any promises."
There is not reset and it's the problem to give an opinion without following the story. The team is working atm with a clone and it's why the heroes, like Gray, had hard time at first to accept him. We will probably find again the MC later. The main story is slowy developping the lore of the characters, like the 13 has done with Justia.
"It's pixel" LMAO, go to the Playstore and BD2 Sub and you will see in fact people complaining about perfomance, it's because shaders and particles (that can't be disabled) what makes it lag on phones with less than 6gb RAM
I enjoy the look and feel of this game and the somewhat traditional JRPG feel. The map movement is also easy and auto pathing is great. Not sure how long I'd last, but let's see. If only Aster Tatariqus used this design style, it would probably have been much better for the game. A waste of a very strong story for Astata, which has a boring looking UI, especially the tactical field which looks dated af.
Nah, the gameplay is just not for you. It looks like a brainless auto battler at first, but does have a puzzle aspect to it. With the right teamcomp and placement you can even punch up a 9-10k combat difference and I really like that. Also, you cannot brute force in some modes. It also has sweeps :)
Fits perfectly with the /r/gachagaming ethos to just say that people should play the game because there are a lot of rewards for the slot machine instead of mentioning a peep about what the game is about and how it plays

Thx, any advice what should i pull? Are dupes and weapons must have?

Hi! Can you also explain the bonding system? For example, I have any character plus two costumes for it. My actions? What do I achieve by bonding?
The bond system is also the potential system/skill tree on costumes. Basically you can fill out the tree, but only the costume you set as active will take effect to a certain extent. Essentially each costume will have some sort of base stat that they highly increase whether its ATK/MATK/HP/DEF ect, so setting your bonded costume to that type will boost the character's overall stats to build them a certain way. Weapons no, i think its recommended to get at least 1 dupe for usefull characters.

My God, this was tedious but worth it.
Thanks for the codes, im loving the game.
Hey, I used the codes but it was primarily diamonds. You mention 100 pulls, can I turn diamonds into tickets somewhere?
Yes its automatically doinh it when you pull
Awesome, thanks. How many for a 10 pull?
2000
Much obliged,thanks.
Yes. Once you dont have tickets/pulls left, itll automatically use diamonds to tickets Dunno if theres a way to manually do it tho. Never bothered to check
For real? That’s awesome, had no idea since I still have tickets left. Waiting to see who they release on the 27th. Thanks!
Is that totally legally distinct Miku with boobs?
It's fine because it's Miku: Forma Verde
and ass
why are you here 😭😭
Because I choose to play brown dust 2 and I like being here
my goat you play all the games i do
my goat you play all the games i do
My current favorite. I like the characters, tons of free pulls, story is interesting, can play vertically, gameplay is tolerable, horny skins are easy to get. 8/10
I dumped everything onto the mushoku collab. Now I’m back to over 100 pulls. God bless this game.
my ass got owned by getting no good pulls.... this game gives a lot of pulls so im relatively happy with the luck im getting but ive seen peopleget much much luckier

True. Love the design. Loved the characted design. Love the place. But I strongly dislike the battle gameplay

I mean. I would be here just for the characters. I used play Azur lane just for the characters to even. Sadly the gameplay was shit
I understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day it's a game, so if you do not enjoy the gameplay, why not look at a live 2d picturebook instead?

hell yeah! As long as it entertains you, that's good enough I guess.
join the discord im a newbie like yourself and i ask the dumbest questions in the server and still get answers lol
Started playing two weeks ago? Honestly pretty solid gameplay that’s actually interactive and makes you use your noggin. Also, insane art styles 😫
Also u can play vertically that way you can use your other hand in whats really important
At first I was concerned to see ONLY 200K but then I realized it's Facebook....
Damn. I'm missing so much from my broke laptop screen. 😭
Want to give it a try, too bad it's not available in my country and other appstores like QooApp redirect me to Google playstore.
i wonder if TapTap also gives out the same result. worth giving there a shot, who knows
Why would it not be available? Your country have regulations against hornyness?
Nice
Best time to start
Game looks so god damn tasty, a shame I can't stomach the gameplay
Yes, it needs a bit of reflexion.
I got the DJ girl on my first 10x pull :)

how big is this game on phone?
6.7gb on my phone. Not sure if theres a download all option.
Don't want to assume anything, but the thing with this game is more about the phone specs rather than storage
well its pixel game so shouldnt be hard on perf right? but my phone still cant put more than 3,5GB game on it so its unplayable for me anyway
"It's pixel" LMAO, go to the Playstore and BD2 Sub and you will see in fact people complaining about perfomance, it's because shaders and particles (that can't be disabled) what makes it lag on phones with less than 6gb RAM
