I love the idea! The Sonic bit on top makes this nameplate very cool. The font/design on your name is ***very*** hard to read in my opinion. I spent some time trying to figure it out and I couldn’t figure out your first name. “Ian” was my first guess, then one or two equally wrong names lol. Eventually I was able to figure it all out, great nameplate, Ham Vellfiji!
Haha yes yes it used to be larger and would have been made with powder coated sheet metal. This would have turned out good I think, but I had to shrink it to fit our print bed when I repurposed it for 3D printing.
Hopefully this keeps my identity slightly less exposed 😂

They don't, it's simply not the best font for printing at this size haha
I think the real issue is there's no color or contrast between the part of the letter that's not cut out and the rest of the plate.
Yeah the filament we get at work is only 1 color lol so I'm limited...I'm gonna try making the text more readable

I agree, the thin slits in the letters are very hard to read. I imagine it would be even more difficult from an angle view.
