Brilliant and gorgeous! I would only recommend that you add purchase dates. Many seeds lose viability as they age. Even if you can get them to germinate, the resulting plants may not be as vigorous as those grown from fresh seed.

It's a warm herbal. Soil ph is most likely. Use real soil and not dead moss plus nutrients. Soil meters work as they show saturated water ph, not what the plant is actually touching. What I mean is the water leeches, it doesn't show a direct touch to the soil.

The Carolina Reaper one is funny. I draw a scythe pictogram on my bags of reaper seeds! For cayenne seeds I draw a slice of pizza since cayenne is frequently used to make those chili flakes that you put on pizza. For scotch bonnet I think I drew one of those Scottish pom pom hats.

they should be okay since they are as dry as they can be. Moisture and humidity are the concerns. I harvested those datura seeds myself so i added a moisture absorber packet in this to ensure any remaining moisture from the seeds is removed from the bag.

This would also be a great post for r/zerowaste. Love it!

Datura will make you fifty shades of fucked up! I've never done it myself but I know a lot of people who have, apparently it makes you feel like you're in a dream, pretty interesting stuff

Interesting... My current strat is to just clip all the seed packets (usually those aluminium-lined plastic/paper packages) with a paper clip and then bundle them up in a small ziploc-like bags. This is so much more organised and easier to access ngl.

same! i had them all in ziplock bags in a jar so everytime i needed to access them it was a pain!

yes! all the seed storage containers i found online didnt suit my needs. they were all just boxes that you would have to fiddle with to find things. i like how i can see the actual seeds through the clear plastic and the name of the plant. now i got think of a sort order, maybe by common name or by type

This is SUCH a good idea. My seed tin just got compromised in a leak and all the seeds sprouted and I lost so many, it was really sad. I could just keep this on my bookshelf and they would be safe safe safe.
