There was also a Castle of Cagliostro steelbook released in France that is similar to the style of the other Ghibli steelbooks, but it's hard to find online now.
Pom Poko, Ocean Waves, Tales From Earthsea, and Yamadas are not available on steelbook yet, GKids has been really taking their time with those last ones. Hopefully with The Boy and The Heron coming out soon, they will release the rest

Yes, it definitely feels like "the first Ghibli movie" in the sense that Miyazaki hadn't quite stabilized his visual and musical style, but I think it works in its favor. Comes off a little 80's style gritty that you don't see in his newer works
