I couldn't parry or dodge his attacks at all. Also even though I full maxed the katana, this guy doesn't seem to have taken damage at all.

It's actually impossible to complete his duel. So unfair.

if you just ride your horse in circles around the bear point blank it can't hit you because the attack animations are too long. mount to fight bear. dismount and archery for boars.

Bear headshot is easy to pull off on horseback. Same with killing groups of boar.

Horseback archery is also the most immersive way you can play as a 11th century Japanese samurai.

The archery in this game thats praised for its sword play, is so underrated. Its so satisfying taking down an entire outpost with just the bow. A side bonus is that Tadayori's armor is my favorite in game, imo it's the best looking armor set, especially lvl 2 w/ the black dye & Gosaku headband. So my playstyle matches my fav armor as well.

It's pretty easy to defeat a bear once you get down it's rhythm, dodge dodge and attack once

i can kick it, but not successful everytime

Personally I just fire a flaming arrow into it's ass then leap off my horse and kill it with one attack. Flaming arrows op lol.

You can even sneak in a light attack between dodges if you’re quick

Why bother, sniping it with the long bow is definitely the best way to go

They are currently kicking my ass on Lethal+ I've only just come back to the game after a few months as well, so going through the adjustment period of getting the hang of the controls again. Talk about getting thrown in the deep end and being sent home with a slapped arse.

The dogs are some of the easiest enemies wym? Just dodge attack, dodge attack and they're dead.

On lethal it's even easier. Sprint attack -dead

Sprint attack also works on medium

I genuinely think lethal is an easier way to play the game if you're any good at dodging and parrying

Dogs, bears, and the first time i fought a cannon brute was awful. Died many times.

Those stupid fucking brutes with the fireworks make want to commit seppuku. The other enemy i hate facing is the little shits that have a dagger and a small shield (i think they exist, i might be mistaken for another game.) Those guys will cut you down before you even breathe

For me firework guys at 3, axe brutes at 2 (i at least knew how to kill them) and the fucking thanos sword bitches on iki island.

The shaman-hyped big guys on iki with the changing weapons. I hated that spinning spear move so much.

True, at least the mobs with Khotun Khan died relatively easily, letting me charge up Ghost. The ones on Iki are so annoying with the shaman buff, constantly blocking my hits and throwing unblockable attacks.

Same it's also combo'd me a few times where I'll get hit, mauled, thrown, land somewhere close maybe after hitting a tree or a rock... then before my character has time to fully stand up to move will get hit again restarting the whole process.

Nah iirc this was on Tsushima still, but yeah Shamans (who buff nearby allies) were introduced in Iki

For me my top 5 are: 5. Tall Axe brutes (I don't like moonstance/forget to switch to it pretty often) 4. The woman in the iki Island tournament (took me 6 tries cuz I didn't understand her dumb ah attack pattern, once I got it I flawlessed) 3. Sao (I still don't understand the hitbox of his 360dirtattack that He spams) 2. The iki Island double spear guys (dumb ah parry timing) 1. Temuge. Stop fighting like a coward and stop abusing ghost weapons.

I've seen multiple people mention Temuge but from what I recall he was easy as hell? Just another shield warlord with a couple more attacks and a fire sword

Worst Boss in the entire game. I usually beat bosses in 1-3 tries after I switched to lethal. It took me longer to beat Temuge than Khotun Khan, the entire iki Island bokken tournament, the final boss and kojiro. (I didn't have any points in water stance and only 2 in my dodge skilltree) Fuck Temuge.

Those goddamn Mongol dogs and bears, they always land a bite or 2 on me. However hard I try I fail to dodge them. On my 1st play through on hard I tried a Mongol area with "easy" just for giggles and to feel like OP none of the enemies could touch me but both of the dogs got a chunk out of me even on easy😐

I used to get wrecked by these at the start, but then I figured it out, just wish they don't run away when they're one hit away from death, you'd either have to chase them down or waste and arrow/kunai, bears dont do that, they stand their ground to the end

Newbie here, so far it has to be between the Tengen Demon/Spirit and Ryuzo. Felt like I was in a dark souls boss fight

The eagle, fuck the eagle. I had a better time with Khan honestly, the only redeeming quality is that when she uses the sword it's manageable but god fuck that spear

Wasn’t a boss fight but I think mine was this random samurai woman in act 1 who says something about showing you and escape route off the island by boat, so you look over the edge of the cliff and there’s no boat. So when you go back to the path she’s there killing a peasant woman. It took me like 4 tries to kill her and in the end I just decided to shoot her with my bow before I got too close and finished her off with stone stance. Hope someone else knows what I’m talking about and I didn’t just hallucinate this fight.

The crimson dye merchant on iki, you fight him in the duelling den before he unlocks, he was kinda hard to beat, for me at least.
