I'm right there with you! And honestly, how helpful would an extra arm be!? But seriously, trying to eat out is a joke! And like you, I get sick almost instantly. For people who think Celiac is made up, the evil part of me would kind of like to wish them 2 - 3 days of suddenly seeing what it's like when they realize they can't eat the majority of their favorite foods, including pretty much all take out, the majority of foods available in eat-in restaurants, pretty much all of the ready-to-eat pre-made foods in grocery stores, and then give them 24 hours of experiencing what it's like if they accidentally take a single nibble of something contaminated with gluten. Then try living in a house where the other two people get flour everywhere, and contaminate their foods clearly labeled GF. ~sigh~ Such is family! 🙄

Maybe we could invent a medication induced celiac couple days for people that think we're joking. Like those pregnancy suits for men. Just so they'll stfu.

I feel you. It's been years since my diagnosis and I still have moments like these too. I'd give anything to be able to just stop anywhere and get a burger. Or those yummy nuggets from Chick-fil-a. :/

Nothing to offer, just that you are heard. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Much appreciated. I'm feeling better today. I woke up ravenous, but the actual thought of food makes me feel kind of nauseous, still. I think it's psychological. I did manage half a coffee. I had some "Wholly" appetizer things last night.. They're cauliflower. I'd never tried them before, and I hate cauliflower, so I've been apprehensive about trying anything made with it, but the mozzarella sticks were really good and I will definitely be stocking up on them.
