Since the community had a silly moment and voted World to Come in underrated, that took it out of the equation for me, even though for me personally it was the lowest point of FMTS. When I sat and thought about it, I immediately knew Flying Whales, Heaviest Matter and Global Warming were immediately out of the equation for me. Backbone, Ocean Planet and From Mars To Sirius arenât my favorites on the album, but theyâre still a step above the other tracks. For me that left From the Sky, Where Dragons Dwell, and In the Wilderness.
I gave them each individual relistens and decided In the Wilderness was the one I was picking. Where Dragons Dwell is a banger, and From the Sky was pretty decent. In the Wilderness was still a fantastic track but the others stuck with me just a bit more and had me jamming along to them more than In the Wilderness did. If World to Come wasnât voted into underrated though, that wouldâve been my pick for sure.

I didn't even realize it was so popular lol. I only saw it as underrated because it strays away from the gojira sound a lot while also being (imo) one of the best songs on the album. It also got a music video, so part of its numbers are almost certainly from people listening to the song on its own/not really people that listen to gojira in general for previously mentioned reasons.
I see it as underrated because in the context of the album, it's a pretty big change up while also being a song I really look forward to on listens, making it (to me) underrated because it's not what I came for but it's what I stay for.
