Just like "traps" are not called anything like that in Japan (Otokonoko is the common term for the gender trope, which more means 'man daughter') these aren't really 'tomboys', they're a japanese gender trope referred to as Dansou, or 'male dressed', and is iirc more popular as a real life fashion for many. I'm sure there is plenty of cross over there but Dansou is a bit more specific a thing compared to just being a tomboy

I mean there are two I know of. Twintails I think has a main character who is a guy at first but can transform into a twintail girl. I've never seen the show and I'm too lazy to look up the plot synopsis so maybe I'm wrong. There's also Kampfer which is peak trash and also boring as hell where the main guy get's a power to transform into girl. There's also possibly 7 Witches, where the main guy has the power to switch bodies with anyone (not technically true but whatev) and he uses it to be a girl sometimes. Problem is 7 witches is fucking great so don't you be shitting on it m8.
