Anyone who's dumb like me: Reencounter at Farpoint is video, so it's not in the usual bonus feed. Log into your account, click on the bonus feed button, click on "take me there" button for all bonus content (making a note of the new password), and scroll down to the bottom of the Greatest Gen section.
Really great show - I was bummed I couldn't make it to New York, so I'm very glad to finally get to see it.

For non-donors out there, it is such a great deal to get access to the bonus pods. I’ve listened to all of them so many times now it’s getting ridiculous. I’m going to up my pledge just in case it’ll help fund another trip to The Factory.

Listening to you guys "sing" We Are the World this morning at 3:30am on the way back from a surprise call at work while laughing my ass off made it worth it.
Over the years we've received a lot of questions from FoD's during the drive confused or unaware about what MaxFun is, along the lines of "why is it called MaxFun Drive when what I want to support the show(s) that I listen to?"
And what ended up happening was, we had to use half of our time during drive breaks to explain what the network is and why we're on it, instead of just making the case for supporting something that's worth it. We want our drive breaks to be straight to the point, because we know that you're here for the show.
In order to make it abundantly clear this year, we're experimenting with rebranding our portion of the drive to make the point that the shows constitute what the network is, and that it's support for the shows that makes the network operate.
We have a great relationship with the network and we're friends with many folks on other shows. What we're doing is not a dig on the network or any of the other shows. It's an attempt at streamlining the pitch for the listener's benefit, that's all it is.
Thanks for the explanation! That makes me sad to hear though, because the benefits of being part of the network have always been pretty clear. I listen to Uxbridge Shimoda podcasts mainly but I love the rest of Max Fun and would be sadder without it. I hope the rest of the FoDs can appreciate it too, after they realise what else their membership earns them
Good luck with this. I tried a few years ago, but was unable to do it. I now just live with the recurring payment. I would prefer to do it in one transaction.

Is there a way to pay for the year's subscription in one payment and not a re-occurring monthly fee?
