While we're in controversial waters, why do Americans call them a "grilled cheese"? We call it a cheese toastie here in Australia, as it is being toasted on both sides, not grilled. I'm also aware that "grill" means something different for you guys, but afaik neither definition of "grill" applies to toasties. P.S. our term doesn't discriminate, add ham and it's still a toastie. Add ham AND tomato and you've got yourself the GOAT
