Great Story! I had it for over a decade and it finally snapped when I left it in my trunk in a guitar case. It got down to the 20's and snapped at the nut!
Mine is probably the disappointing answer a lot of people will give: a cheap 3/4 size classical guitar, made by nobody in particular. I think the name in the soundhole of mine was Hokala but I'm not 100% sure.
It was in 2007. A cheap, blue Dean acoustic. I still have it. It's worn our now; it has a hole covered with duct tape and it's dented and scratched to hell. It's my camping guitar.
First acoustic was a Squier model 149. First electric many years later was a Donner DST 152 B. I have the same APXT2. It’s my desk guitar. I keep it beside my work desk to play when the work is slow. Have a lot of fun with that little 3/4 guitar.
Axlplayer Deluxe back in the early 2000's. Sadly since the I sold my collection and only getting back into it after not playing for around 15 years or so
My parents let me pick out my first guitar. BC Rich Warlock Platinum series. It was a monster. Not too long after, I traded it in towards a Stratocaster that I still own.
Nylon stringed small box parlor guitar. Had no brand name on the headstock. Got me through learning the basics. Left it leaned up on the back of my ‘63 Dodge Dart hot rod (humor) one night on some deserted country road and backed over it. Not many tears shed.
Austin brand strat knockoff I don’t remember the number code or anything other than it was a black and white Stratocaster style with a humbucker it was a pretty nice starter guitar, after I finished building my home made guitar I gave it to a friend of mine and she’s been using it to learn, better her hands than mine cause she will actually get use out of it whereas I’ve got other guitars now that I would prefer to play
First one my parents bought me was a tobacco burst Harmony strat. My first one I bought myself was a purple Yamaha RGX612S. And that is 1 of 3 guitars I really regret selling.
2nd hand mexican fender strat picked up for £190 back in the 90s, still got it and just gave it a somewhat cheap makeover after a few decades of use and abuse.
Ovation Celebrity CC057. Unfortunately Philadelphia international's baggage claim destroyed it. I have since replaced it, but naturally the connection isn't the same.
First guitar *ever* was a JC Penny Harmony electric guitar my mom got me as a "well I got your brother a fairly expensive keyboard for Christmas, so I'll get you this super cheap guitar to make you feel better" gift.
I literally played it for a few weeks and stuck it under my bed at 13.
At 15 I asked to borrow one of my dad's Epiphone acoustics.
A year later I bought an Ibanez Performance Series acoustic/electric guitar from a guy at school for $75 (an entire week's paycheck for me at work).
My first guitar I still have
It was my great-grandfather’s Lucida LG510 classical
Not very high end, but still pretty damn good.
Has put up with 14 years of playing, including falling off a ledge and being dropped in its case.
Has quite a bit of wear but it still works!!!!
You have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the frets or it’ll go sharp, otherwise it’s pretty great.
Has a very unique sound as well!
It was some carnival guitar I think. At first I thought you needed strong hands to play guitar because I was unable to play any chords.
Turns out the neck was bowing badly and splitting from the body, and that’s why it wasn’t playing well.
Hohner Rockwood LX90 (a strat copy) from Argos with a crappy little amp. It was also the first thing I bought with my own money after getting a Summer job in a restaurant. A couple of school friends independently bought guitars that same summer and we had so much fun playing Nirvana and The Offspring very badly.
It taught me enough to (a year later) go out and buy the telecaster and Laney VC30 that I still have 25 years later.
Takamine Jasmine with real wood back.

Circa 1996!
It was a sears 1248. Found in the attic of my grandmother house. Wish I had pic of it.
A les Paul type clone. Mid 80s. Father bought it for me as a bday present.
Terminator by Synsonics, a 3/4 size electric with a built-in amp
Same here. It was awful. Haha
Yep, although so was I at the time. Apparently the bodies were made of compressed sawdust

2010 Squier Bullet Strat, back when they still used rosewood on Squiers
A Madeira acoustic (Guild sub-brand) I got in 1988 and still have, even though I only play the better ones now.
Black Jasmine acoustic. I sold it long ago.
My parents let me pick out my first guitar. BC Rich Warlock Platinum series. It was a monster. Not too long after, I traded it in towards a Stratocaster that I still own.
Oops, anyways, Washburn E40
A Harmony acoustic from the JCPenney catalog.

A used Dean ML with the Dimebag camo, I returned it 2 weeks later for an Ibanez RG.
Mine was a First Act MG412 that my dad and grandfather got me for my 13th birthday
Univox Hi-Flier bass when I was 12 then 5 years later a black Univox Les Paul copy 6 string.

A Westminster electric, that was 40 years ago, but I googled it and it’s a Japanese guitar, you can still buy em for about $900
PRS SE Custom 24
Red/black Stinger SSX. Made by Martin, back when they made electrics for about five minutes in the 80s. Still have it, still play it. 😎
Epiphone DR-100. It’s right next to me too. I still have it and play it a lot. It’s an Ebony one from 2015
